If it wasn't fried then I think I would count it like regular bread...1 point for 1 slice. I remember helping to make bannock while camping in Jasper with the family. We'd make the dough and then wrap it around a small moist branch to cook over the fire. Couldn't eat it without a little butter and jam though! :D GailR 09-16-2002, 10:25 AM I was reading a romance novel about a month ago...one of those medieval things...and they talked about bannock bread...didn't have a clue as to what that is! I'm sure they didn't count points back then! april99 09-16-2002, 01:07 PM You could cook bannock over an open fire, but it was probably baked in an oven. I think I will count it like bread. April HippyChick 09-17-2002, 07:23 AM Gail, I'm sure you're right about them not having to count points. Have you taken a look at the original Weight Watchers program? Now THAT was almost medieval! vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
