Jeanne, thank you for starting us off here. :hug:

My goal for this month----drum roll please---is to stay at my tracker weight.
I've been going up and down 1 or 2 pounds since my surgery. I do not need to lose this month because it might reek havoc with my stitches. However, I do want to maintain.

Who's next-----anyone else have a goal for May?

I would love to lose 5 pounds this month.
I have been doing ok, and a little better since D was diagnosed as there aren't any sweets in the house. Its a good goal. Good luck with yours ladies.

Official WI this morning.........I hesitate on putting in black & white cause I'm sooooo disappointed!!!! I have to report a 3# gain!!!!:?:

Sorry you had a gain, Jeanne. We just don't always know what is going on with our bodies. You are hard-working and will get rid of those pounds a lose more. :hug:

Everyone in the families diet is better since we found out about Dan
He has lost about 15 pounds in the last month, (thats guys for you)

I am always puzzled how males can lose so much more, so fast. I read all the reasons but It Stinks!

Well nobody would want to lose it for that reason. I feel so guilty as my Dad was diabetic too. My doc is always surprised that my blood sugars are so good, but I am feeling that I am dodging a bullet. Its a good reason to be eating better.

Forgot to post my weigh in from last week

5/3: -.2
5/10: +1.6

Not surprised that I gained and I'm not going to beat myself up. This week will be a better week and I hope to see a loss next Monday. My goal for May is to lose 5 more pounds. I think it's doable. Remember to keep moving girls and bottoms up with the water.

lol thanks but I actually just lost a baby on the 10th so im pretty sure it didnt have much to do with me dieting :) i think it was mostly fluid BUT it is still 5 lbs!!

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and new to WW as well. I weighted in today at 244 I'm 6'0 so I carry my weight well but I just hate the way my clothes fit and I'm ready to drop this weight my first goal is to loose 12 pounds then my second goal is to loose 24 pounds...I just left walmart I bought so many healthly choices everything was either fat free or reduced fat. I also bought a couple of the Smart Ones (has anyone tried these) I got the Strawberry Shortcake and it's calling my name as we speak. :shrug:

No comment:( +1.8 -I did not do so good, but I know why. I did not write down my points and did not eat alot of veggies and drink my water. So I am going to write every bite and really focus this week.

Hey y'all. I don't think I've posted here before, but I'm Blaire and have been losing since January. I started Weight Watchers last week, hoping to find the meetings motivational. I'm doing really well and went to my second meeting today. I lost 2.4 pounds! Yay! :carrot:

I am starting weight watchers tonight! First weigh in :-) I'm am very excited to get started and I figured I would see if there was a support message board out there that I could use as my home base out on the net.

A little about me, I'm a guy, 37. I got divorced a 4 years ago and I have gained 100 pounds since then :-O I have decided enough is enough and I'm making a change. Right now I'm 325-330 I think put I will know for sure tonight. I'll come post an update after I go to the meeting!

Diane; I too will exercise. It could be something salty that you ate. You really store up a lot of water when you eat salty foods.
Blair; I was 313 at my highest weight so I know you can do it. You will really like the weight watchers diet, and we are a great group, so please join us.
Clint; welcome to our group, you CAN do it, its time to put yourself first. You will love the flexibility that the WW diet gives you.

**Update I did walk 2 miles this morning and ran up and down the football stands 4 times. Almost died. Did some yard work for 2 hours also. Walking again tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Official weigh in today, and I've only lost 1.2 pounds.
I'll take it, way better than gaining, especially as I used all my daily, weekly, and activity points. I'm only on 18 poiunts daily, and I'm always hungry.
I hope it will be better next time.

The last thing you want to do is put your body into starvation mode.
Please get some help from your WW leader.
