Jibelle,
I wish you luck in your weigh tomorrow at WW. :dancer: Hope all goes well!

Ladies who don't know me- Hi, My name is Fran. I lost 44 pounds on WW BUT I lost the first 10 with LAWL. It is a matter of choice either way you are all doing something to help yourselves:D

Nice talking to you all,

Fran:cheese:

Hey Fran-
Good to hear from you again. Are you still losing or are you at your goal weight?

Fran and Marcie:
Did you find it an easy switch from going to WW from LA?
I just get so overwhelmed with so many food choices.
I guess that is what using a diary is all about.
Good luck tomarrow Marcie with your Weigh in, Do you stay for the meetings.

When I first joined they gave me a booklet with tons of recipes...actually, a couple different booklets. One had several examples of a whole days worth of points...entire daily menus with pictures of everything! I think this really helped me because I got a lot of ideas on what to fix. You really can eat whatever you want as long as you stay in your point range. All the veggies we are accustomed to eating on LA are zero point veggies!!! So you can use them as fillers. The leader lady told me that no one gets fat from eating veggies.

I always stay for the meetings. They give you lots of ideas and only last about 1/2 hour. She starts them buy giving awards to people who have made goals....either 5, 10, 15....lbs or percentages of their weight 10, 20, 30%. It is inspiring. I can not wait to make my first 5 and get recognized! There are also a few lifetimers in my meeting who always have good advice!

I kind of like the group meeting better than one on one....there isnt so much pressure. You can also talk to the leader or to someone working at the center one on one if you want. They have hours for that, or before/after meetings.

They have never asked me to buy anything either! They do have some 2 pt chocolate bars that look pretty good!

So basically---I found it to be an easy switch, although I had to eat more food, and it took a few days to ramp up. It was strange ot think I could eat more and lose weight...but I did....3 lbs!

To anyone that wanted to take me up on the walking challenge here is what I'm going to do: walk at least 5 days a week for 30 minutes (or more, ), but this way everyone that wants can join me. Let's start tomorrow and let each other know at least once a week how we are doing and if it is helping our weightloss.

Hi,
Jibelle- I am currently tring to lose 10 more pounds due to the fact that I put on 7 and i still want an additional 3 to go. I guess you can say I got a little cocky
:nono: but I still have nmanged to keep off 37 of the original 44. i am really barreling down on my food choices as well as my exercise. This really is the key to losing weight and/or keeping it off. I had too much fun in the summer time:devil:

Diane- It was quite easy at least for me to switch from LA to WW. I think La taught me to watch my carbs and WW taught me how to eat right FOR LIFE. I realized I couldn't be eating bars the rest of my life so that is why I switched. Also, like Jibelle said I liked the group setting rather than the one on one. I always felt that at LA they were trying to rush me out- just my opinion.

I really think it depends on what you want.
Have a good weekend!!

Fran:D

Back to the 50 lb mark by the WW scale.

Congrats Marcie, I made the switch today.
I was so annoyed when I went to La today, I stayed on plan since last weigh in and did not lose anything. Stayed exactly the same. So then I went to WW after that.
so lets hope I do as well as you and Fran.

I think you will do great! I know you do not have as many points as I, but I am guessing you will get more food than on LA and still be able to lose! And if you are exercising...it will be even better.

After being stuck on LA for months I lost 4.2 lbs during my first two weeks of WW.

Like Fran said, the eating habits I developed while on LA really helps me make good choices on WW. I eat a lot of the same thing, but a few more high fiber starches.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU! What day are you going to weigh in?

Congratulations Marcie:cb: You are doing so well on WW. Keep up with the great work!!

Diane- Congratulations on joining WW!! Sometimes we need a change and I think you made the right decision for yourself. ood Luck and if you have any questions I will be more han happy to answer them for you,

Thanks Fran and Marcie.
Marcie I weigh in on Saturday. I did o.k. yesterday.
I was thinking to much yesterday about what I can and can't have but has Fran mentioned used what I learned from La and move on. I am not sure what I will do the the La program put it on hold or just quit. I know I have a lot of lites left.
er130 did you start your walking today? Do you walk outside or do you have a treadmill. Have fun. Exercise is one of the things I really enjoy.

Jibbelle
09-15-2002, 09:31 AM
Diane-
Are the lites you have left still at the center? If they are they will refund you. I just got a refund check for $149 a few days ago!

Maybe put yourself on hold for a month, just to make sure you like WW and it works for you. At the end of a month....then make a decision about LA. I do not know if they will refund you for unused weeks, but they will refund any bars/supplements you have banked.

Welcome to WW!

Our VCR died yesterday and I do not think I am going to replace it. So...now I am searching for a DVD exercise video. I think I may shop for one today. I am going to check out Best Buy online.

Jibbelle
09-15-2002, 01:06 PM
Ok...me again!

Update: I just bought Leslie's Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile and 2 mile DVD on Best Buy.com for $9.99/ no shipping costs! Not too shabby. If I like it I will buy the 3 mile for another $9.99. You know, it was cheaper to buy them at Best Buy than from Leslies Site! Now if I can just find those handweights and dust them off!

SOOOO....Erin....I am up for your challenge as soon as my DVD arrives! Until then, I will continue to be lazy...

dianem1

Jibbelle:
We actually got a DVd/vcr, my husband does not like the dvd's but I find them easier for exercise and the picture is great.
I was on the treadmill today and I actually enjoy doing yoga zone dvd's.
Doesn't leslie also have cassette tapes also?
I want to give myself the chance with WW with out worrying about what I am going to do with La, I will ask them for the month and see what they say about the bars if I can get a refund, I don't know what kind of excuse I can give. Telling them I'm moving won't work for me, i have gotten to know the manager quite well and I know she will not believe me.
Today was a up and down day I went to a birthday party I did alright, I did have cake and probably went over my point range.
have a good night

Diane-
Best buy sells her DVDs and VHS. Our DVD player is in the basement, and since it is nice and cool down there it will be a good place to work out year around. Maybe we will look into the DVD/VCR combo for upstairs.

About LA-
Did you know if you have surgery and go under anesthesia you have to go off plan for one month?

I have gone over on points a couple times....but I just get back in there! Usually I try and eat a couple less points, or at the bottom of my range for a few days.

Woohoo! I just did my first workout in a good three weeks. I'm trying to get back on track with those, too. I have a new schedule with work/school so fitting it in is a little more difficult. But we MAKE time, right? :b

I think the walking challenge is a great idea. For mine, I am going to shoot for walking/running 5 days a week for a duration of 40-45 minutes. Before I got off plan, I used to run/walk 30 min a day, do handweights for 20 min a day, and ab workout for 20 min (in two separate sections) a day. I'd like to be back in this routine by Halloween. Gosh, it looks like a long way away :(

THIS week, though, I am going to ease back into the routine by increasing my walks slowly. Today my walk was 25 minutes (hey, better than none at all). Tomorrow I will shoot for 30. You guys are such an inspiration. I seriously don't think I could stay with my routines without y'all.

I see that a lot of people are making mini-goals. Maybe that's what I need now. I'll be so happy when I'm back into my routine. When I exercise and stay OP, I feel so much better all the time. We'll all reach those mini-goals together! THEN we have to stay away from the Halloween candy! Ahhh! I'd better start practicing now.

Jibbelle
09-16-2002, 10:01 AM
The mini goal helps me a lot because I have SO much to lose. If I think about it in a huge chunk it seems so impossible. When I break it up it isnt only easier to think about, but I get to reward myself for making the mini goal. I am still deciding on my Halloween reward.

xYTx
09-16-2002, 12:05 PM
What kind of rewards do you give yourself, Marcie? I'm wondering because it's SO HARD for me NOT to reward myself with FOOD. I know this is not the way to do it!! Maybe a new pair of shoes or jeans or something? A movie, or a night out?

dianem1
09-16-2002, 02:06 PM
Marcie:
The mini goals are great, I used to have a hard time in the beginning trying to deal with the weightloss goal and then I just started taking little steps. For me at one time is was just making in through the day without eating a whole bag of potato chips.
Even now when I am almost reaching my goal I got myself looking at the whole picture again. Thanks for reminding everyone about those little mini- goals.
xYTx I have gotten lazy also I did not stop exercising, but I went to lighter weights and now the heavier ones I have to build back up to again.
Thanks all for being there
Diane

Lets see...goals....I LOVE manicures and they are reasonably cheap. I also do CDs or DVDs. Sometimes a night out at the movies with Matt....or a girls night out with friends!

One time someone told me they bought a charm bracelet and bought a charm every time they lost 5 or 10 lbs. I thought that was a good idea.

For my 50 lb loss (the third, and final time!) I got a new haircut and some highlights!

xYTx
09-16-2002, 03:55 PM
Ooooh! I need a haircut so badly. LoL. And I'd love to have it colored professionally sometime. Those would be real treats! DVDs, too! Thanks for the great ideas!

Hi,

Everyone seems to be doing pretty well. I'm doing great to, I managed to loose another 2# which brings down to the lowest weight i've been in 5yrs!

I just wanted to say WELCOME to all the new comers, good luck to all of you who have changed from LAWL to WW, it's a great program and it's good that you decided not to give up when LAWL stop working for you, you just chose something different instead. Being a former WWer myself, I do miss those group meetings though.

Lesile Sansone WAP's is a great set! My mother uses it along w/ WW and she lost 35#, she just loves it!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Everyone!

Well, I'm back as a married woman! The wedding, honeymoon, everything was great.

Now, it's time to get back to reality. I will weigh in today to measure my progress. I admit that I am very nervous. I really went wild and ate everything I wanted for a week and a half. Now, it's time to face the music. According to me scale, it looks like I've gained 3-4 pounds.

I have to get back on track, and I'm sure it will be difficult, so I'll be checking in often for your support.

It looks as if the boards have been busy in my absence. Congratulations to all of you who are making progress. I hope to be joining you soon on the downward trend! ;)

Joy, Welcome back did you have a nice time?
Kathy isn't it nice when you reach somewhere you have not been in a long time. Congrats! I went and pre- ordered cathe's new dvd's .
I decided to stay away from the scale this week and not weigh in until Saturday. I will see if I can hold out.
I hope everyone is doing well

Congrats Kathy! What a great feeling! :cb:

Welcome back Joy! I hope you had a wonderful time! You may have put on a few pounds of water weight from eating off plan things. I bet you have a pretty big drop once you start back on plan.

Diane-
Staying off the scale this week is a good idea! That way you will be very suprised on Saturday when you drop a pound or two! I usually weigh in on Saturday, but I am leaving town on Friday so I am going to the Fri 9:30 meeting on the way out. I will post on Friday or Saturday from my parents house!

I am having a pretty good on plan week. I am just waiting for my WATP DVD to get here so I can start my exercise routine! I can not believe I am actually excited about this, but I think you have motivated me Diane!

Hi all,

Congratulations to all who have lost weight this past week:D Losing weight can be difficult but totally worth it.

I hope you all don't mind that I post here even though I am on WW. I like reading everyone's posts and I look forward to the responses.

As some of you know, I have lost 44 pounds with WW but I still want to take off this stubborn 8 I put on. I am currently boosting up my exercise. I am working out 4-5 times a week . I have lost 1.2 so far.

Jibelle- I have the WATP tapes and they are really good. What makes them great is it doesn't contain any weird movements except for plain walking. i love putting them on.

Well have a great week guys!:smug:

I needed something low impact.....no jumping or running, so I think they will work great. Especially for a beginner! I can work up from the 1 to 2 to 3 mile. Then maybe I will be ready to hit the gym again!

Congrats on the 1.2 loss! It is great!

I lost 40 lbs on la weight loss and also rewarded myself too much this summer and have to lose 6 lbs to get back to my 40lbs. I am thinking about joining ww too. I just bought the fudge zone bars (much cheaper) at walmart and they are good!

Jibbelle
09-18-2002, 10:03 AM
I have never tried the zone bars, but I do like PowerBar Harvest bars. They usually run them 4 for $5 at the grocery store or walmart and they are yummy! They are more like a granola bar than the LA bars.

The bars are way too many points on the WW plan so I do not eat them anymore.

Welcome back to the plan lawlosertoo!

How is everyone else this morning?

Hi all,

I am so happy! I managed to loose some ounces since Monday's weigh in...I know that could anything but it's nice the see the scale go down in any capacity!lol

Diane- Your ordering Cathe's new video's? I'm so excited! I can't wait! I haven't ordered yet, but i'm saving up my little pennies to. Wow what a great deal? Cathe sure has a great sense for business!

lawlosertoo- congrats on loosing 40#

Fran- the more the merrier! Also congrats on the weightloss!

Joy- Happy nuptials! And only gaining 3# isn't as bad as it could be, you did great considering!

ANYONE HERE USE BARE ESSENTUALS? If so I just want to update you that Lesile will be in QVC this Thursday!

Have a great day all!

Hey Everyone:
Marcie your package come yet. You have helped me alot along the way also, especially with switching over to WW. I have not had a headache once this week, it feels really great. I think I just have to fine tune the plan to work for me so I do not get so overwhelmed. There are some foods I just can't handle even after all this time. Marcie the La lites (bars) are like 4 points, I try to stay away from them.
Fran I put on about 13 pounds over the summer which has gotten me a little down, but with all of you here I am feeling motivated again.
Kathy I kind of begged my husband to use his credit card to order the Cathe tapes I did not tell him how much though. He will get a suprised when his bill comes.
The asst. manager at La weight loss was really nice she put me on hold like I asked and guess what Marcie she used the surgery idea. She even gave me the information weeks on stabilazation, I wished I had seen them earlier I might have handled things differently but thats life.
I hope everyone is well
Diane

Glad they put you on hold without any problems Diane! I hope WW works well for you....you dont have much left to lose!

My package did not come today, but I am guessing it will be here tomorrow. Too bad I am going to be at my parents Fri-Sunday and they do not have a DVD player! Guess I will start my walking when I get back...or tomorrow if they come in!

What are the Cathy tapes?

dianem1
09-18-2002, 08:56 PM
Marcie:
There are alot of Cathe tapes or dvd's. You can check them out on Cathe.com.
The step tapes I think are advanced. But alot of beginners like the weightlifting tapes. I think Kathy can also tell you what they are. I find her weight tapes/dvd's very good, you get your muscles worked pretty good.
got to go

I think I may need to get something later to do in addition to the walking....maybe I will look into those. I will start with the walking though! I do not want to do too much at once.

I am leaving for my parents house in the morning after my 9:30 weigh in. I have my 10 year high school reunion this weekend. It will be nice to spend the weekend with family and old friends.

Hey...its me again...where is everyone!?!

I got my WATP DVD in the mail today...but I just got a manicure and cant open the stupid box! Will have Matt do it when he gets home. Since I am going to be out of town Fri, Sat, and Sun I think I will start my exercise program on Monday.

I was at Wal-mart today and got a couple 2lb hand weights to use. I wasnt sure if I should get 1, 2 or 3, so I went with the midde. They were only $4 so if it isnt right, I didnt lose much.

Everyone having an on plan day???

Hey Jibelle,
Congratulations on receiving your tapes:D You'll like them. I actually did the 2 mile last night. I wasn't in the mood to jump around because tonight I will be taking a urban rebounding class :dizzy: It is a work out on a mini trampoline and it is a killer!!

Are you rady for weigh in Sat? How was your week? I had a good week and I hope the scale moves. Lately, it doesn't even budge:mad:

We'll see..

Good morning!
I set my alarm to 7am and I woke up at 5:30. Go figure! I guess I have some time to get a few things done before I leave for my parents. I am going to the 9:30 WW meeting and then heading out of town. I am so excited to spend some time with my family and friends!
I will try and post when I get to my parents. *keep you fingers crossed* I want a good WI!

xYTx
09-20-2002, 09:19 AM
Work has been absolutely exhausting lately. This is the first job I've had in at least two years that required me to be on my feet for the whole shift, and most of it is running from place to place! So, I think I will have to amend my exercise goals to THREE times a week. Strangely enough, I'm losing weight just as fast now as I was when I hit the gym at my summer job every day. HEY, I'll take it!

I go to WI today, and my scale shows me down another 2#. I hope the scale at the center is as kind! My center started a "Losers Board" where they post the names of people who have lost 20, 30, 40, 50, etc... It's really cool to see your name up there, and very motivating.

TODAY, however, is going to be difficult. It's the day my friends and I are going to this huge country fair, the Eastern States Exposition. Traditionally, you start at one end and EAT your way to the other. Last year I pigged out hardcore. I don't know what I'm going to do! I figured I'd bring along an LA Lite so I could eat something "bad" while everyone else is eating onion rings, cotton candy, and fried dough. NEXT YEAR I'll be able to indulge, right? Food isn't more important than my goal!! I certainly hope I remember that tonight when we're there! Wish me luck!

I also got a package of the shakes, but I haven't tried them yet. For those of you who use the shakes, how do you make them? I bought some strawberries to go in the shake (they're chocolate), and I'm planning on sticking it in the blender with some ice and my milk allowance or maybe even some fat free/lite yogurt. What works for y'all?

Jibbelle
09-20-2002, 09:28 AM
My center had the same kind of "loser board" off and on. It would be there, then gone, come back a little different, then gone. I really liked it when they had it though! I always couldnt wait to move my name from one weight to another!

Ah shakes....I am the smoothie queen!

Chocolate: I usually just put these in a shaker with a cup of milk (or half cup milk/half cup water) and put in the small ice chunkies from the bottom of the tray....and shake shake shake! Frothy and yummy!

Strawberry and Vanilla: I did not like these plain really...so I made fruit smothies. I bought the frozen bags of strawberries or peaches and would add them in with the milk and mix. Blenderer time.....OH YUMMY! Sometimes I used yogurt and fresh fruit or slightly frozen fruit. I found that if you used yogurt and frozen fruit...it was really hard to blend because it was so thick. I am getting hungry just thinking about my Saturday and Sunday morning smoothies!

Good luck at weigh in!!!

Good Morning!

How's everyone? I'm fine! I weighed in today at the center and i'm still holding steady! I'm so glad I lost 2# this week and was able to maintain it. Hopefully i'll be able to maintain it through Mon cause this Saturday is my b-day and I'm already prepared on the "bad" things i'll be eating!lol

Diane- Hopefully your hubby won't notice the c/c bill! Cathe's tapes are sure worth any lecture he decides to torture you w/ once he does notice though. lol I'll order mines next month. I wanted to order the dvd set but my ex took the dvd so it's back to vhs for now. lol Oh, how do you feel about Fitprime? I've lost my taste for it after CF. To be honest I love CF more than WF but I hate doing aerobics w/ the ball! What about you?

xYTx- congrats on the steady weightloss! Sorry you have to be standing for 8hrs a day though. That's tough!

Well have a great weekend everyone!

Hey Kathy:
I am not sure how I feel about fitprime, I find the work out with the ball a little award. And the ball bounce forget it, it is just to loud. I did but the angel package but now it seems they are trying to charge for other things. I guess they have to make money anyway they can. Happy Birthday! Any plans tomarrow?
Marcie did yoy have a good WI?
xYTx congrats on your continued loss. I have not had the shakes often, but I use the drinks, which I enjoy with fruit and I also use my dairy. Good luck today.

Hi Diane-

I find bouncing the ball in FP video's awkward as well. And i live in an apt so it's out of the question. I whind up fast forwarding through most of the segments, what's the point? lol Do you regret becoming an angel now? I'm so glad I didn't. I knew that Anna could be a little ecentric, but now that she doesn't have anyone opionions to follow she can pretty much do whatever she wants, and i'm afraid that I won't like it.lol

It's nice that she has all the old instructos back though. I wonder what the real reason is why Susan won't do another tape? If she teaches classes regularly how out of shape can she be? lol

I dinner and a movie and just bugging out w/ friends planned for my b-day tomorrow!

Hey Ladies-

It's Friday Woo Hoo:cb:

I weigh in tomorrow- I hope I am down. i have been working out like crazy and I plan on going to the gym at 7:00 tonight at the gym on a Friday!!! Fridays used to be drinkj night...

The urban rebounding class was a killer last night. I could barely get through it. My goal is to get through the class one day without stopping. We'll see:s:

Jibelle- How'd it go at weigh in?

I hope everytone has a good weigh in and weekend. I'll keep posting.

Not doing much this weekend. My husband is going to Dover, Deleware to see a race so I am by myself:devil:

:gift: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHY!!!:hb:

Mine is Monday and I am on vacation all week so it should be a good one! My bf asked me what I wanted and I said I would love to go out for dinner or lunch and to a movie. So...I think that is what we are doing. I couldnt really think of any gifts that I want or need.

I was running late Friday morning and I did not get a chance to WI before I went to my parents. I just got back, so I guess I will wait until the end of the week to go. I had Mom and Grandma's good cooking all weekend, so I am a little scared. I had everything they made, but in very small portions. I did not count points at all! I think I will drop my points the rest of the week by 2 or 3 a day and I am going to start working out tomorrow, so I should be ok by Saturday WI. I will eat lots of those 0 pt veggies for fillers all week!

Have a great weekend all!

Hello Everyone! I haven't posted much since I joined and I gave the walking challenge. I didn't live up to it myself this week. I only walked once. I am feeling kind of down on myself right now. I'm having a hard time eating right. I've graving all kind of junk. I haven't given in, but it is getting me down. Tomorrow is a new day. Hopefully I'll get back on track. Any one have any more ideas for recipes. Marcie, thanks for the French Toast topped with apples idea. I'll be using it soon. It would make a nice Saturday Brunch. Well, everyone keep up the good work.

Hello Everyone!

Well, I am down 2# since the wedding, and that's good news. However, I only have one week left with LAWL. I don't think I'll be buying more weeks because I'm only half way to my goal. I've spent so much money already.

On the other hand, I just don't want to give up. Has anyone here been on maintenance? What is it like?

I need to decide by next Friday. I thought about going on maintenance at LAWL and doing e-diets or Weight Watchers simultaneously. Basically, I do want to reach my goal weight, but I am at a plateau with LAWL. If I'm going to spend more money, I may as well try something different.

Anyway, if you all have any information about maintenance or other suggestions, please let me know.

Joy:
I have not reached my goal yet with La, but the last time I was there they gave me the stabilization information, they add things back slowly each week. By the sixth week there is a lot of food on the menu that we were not having before. Aren't they just going to charge you $7.00 a week? Or are they trying to charge you more.

Marcie-

CONGRATULATIONS! :) That's so sweet! What a creative place to propose! Soon you'll start trying on those wedding gowns and just watching the sizes fall :)

Congratulations to everyone on their weightloss. My last few WIs have been good. I haven't quite gotten the hang of making a good shake yet (they taste a little weird) but I'm still trying. Good luck this week :)

Marcie,
:D :D :D CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so romantic. Did you have any idea? Did you cry? Do you have plans? Oh, My!! I am so excited for you!!! Let's start planning girls.. We have a wedding ahead of us!!

Well, I am glad everone is good. I was some what happy at weigh in.. Down 1.2;) I'll take it. I think it is taking forever because I am working out a lot. I had many people remark that I look fit and firm. I guess that is good but sometimes I wish I could see it on the scale.

Joy- You shopuld give WW a try. I think LAWL is a good way to get you started toward your goal but I think WW is for life. You should think about it.

Let me go, i have to get ready for my work out. I have been very strict with myself. Now if i only could get into a size 4....:s: Some day!

See ya..

I had a WI today. Not great. I was up 1 pound. That is so frustrating. Time to get serious again, and I have 2 take off days this week so that will help. How often do you do that? It is kind of expensive to do too frequently! Marcie, congrats on the engagement, as far as recipes, anything that isn't chicken! I'm sick of it already. Hope you all have a great week.

Good morning all! I am just about to try my one mile Walk Away the Pounds DVD for the first time. I am going to try and do it at least 4 times this week.

Fran-
I was very suprised when he asked! We have been together for 4 years, so I was expecting it sometime, but not on my birthday...maybe Chrismtas or New Years. I did not cry until I got home and started calling friends.

I am very excited but I do not know where to begin with planning a wedding! I really want to get married in Sept or Oct, so we have to decide if we want to wait one year or two. I am leaning towards two, because I think I can be much closer to goal in a year or year and a half and then start dress shopping. AH...we will see.

Erin-
I will did out my LAWL cookbook this afternoon or this evening (while matt is in class) and post a few more recipes.

Marcie -

Congratulations! That is sooooo wonderful!

Marriage is a beautiful thing - you'll love it! I wish you all the best. You have many exciting days ahead of you!

Well, my husband doesn't want me to pay more money to LAWL. It would only be $7/week, but I will still need to pay $77. I've been looking at Weight Watchers, and this would cover a lot more territory with them. I'm thinking about doing the on-line Winning Points System Program while on maintenance. This way, I won't have to go to the meetings, and I can mix the two programs together. That same $77 dollars will get me about 2 months with WW.
Decisions...decisions...

Ok...so I just finished the one mile WATP walk. Geez...it is more of a work out than I though it would be. I think it is much better than hitting the pavement in the neighborhood. I am going to do the one mile for a week or two and then when it gets easy switch to the two mile.

Thanks to whoever suggested Leslie's tapes! I really like it!

Hi all,

I'm pretty bummed today. I did an unoffical weighin at my center today and i'm up 4#! I know my "friend" is just around the corner but I hate seeing the scale go up and I can't seem to stop snacking!

How's everyone else doing?

Diane- did you order Cathe's Ab hits and CXT ub? it's next on my list after I order the Intensity series. I'm so happy!

Jibbelle- How is LS working ya out? Ok? Have you seen any of her informericals?

Kathy-
You get weigh ins like that on occassion....they are usually kind of bogus. Either water or what you were wearing, the time of day, or the scale. I have been back down at a normal weight 24 hours later. Hang in there!!

I like the tape so far. I have done it three days in a row now. SO far so good. I have not seen any infomercials.

Hi Everyone:
I have been having a very buzy week. I've been up and down staying OP. Today was not such a good day. I think I could have one thing then it leads to another.
Kathy I pre-ordered the Dvd's of ab hits and the step dvd. I even received the replacement of ab hits the other day. ctx I already had on the express set. ab hits I really like I use alot with the firm tapes that do not have any ab work.
I recently order the new christy taylor step and aerobics dvd. I am finding that she grows on me. When I first ordered her tapes I found them hard to follow and gave them away. I like the modifyers that she has in the back I get a little dizzy with all the turns so I do not do many of them. I hope you are feeling better.
Marcie do you know anything about Leslie's audio tapes, I was wondering if any of them use weights?
Diane

I have had a really low point day today, so I am going to dairy queen for a small chocolate sunday! what a treat!

Morning ladies!

I did an official weigh in today and i'm down .8 from yesterday. I know my monthly friend is on her way so i'm not even going to sweat my weigh ins for the next week or so, cause i'm sure it will be up and down most days.

Jibbelle- enjoy icecream, sounds delicious!

Diane- I find Christi to confusing. I just can't seem to get into her. I also bought SH and swapped it. I am just not coordinated enough for her. I'm sure i'll give her another chance in the future. Did you hear about Karen Voights new tapes? She has a new circuit one that I want to get. Lately I haven't been too crazy about the new video's coming out. Could it be possible that we have enough tapes? lol

Hi Girls,
how was everyone's week? Mine was good. I was very busy. Worked a lot this week and I am exhausted:stress:
So tonight is a slow night although I have a meeting to go to at 7:30:mad:
Tomorrow is weigh in. I worked out 4x this week. We'll see how it goes. I am being patient.

Jibelle- good Luck tomorrow. I am sure you'll do great. The WATP tapes are greta. I actually did the 3 mile on Tuesday. I was dying!!!!!!!!!

Kit- That time of the month you will go up but next week if you keep up on your plan, drink lots of water. It will go!!

Well see ya,

Fran:D

Matt talked me into ordering chinese takeout!! ARGH! Thankfully the place said they would do chicken and veggies for me without any oil and a little bit of white sauce, whatever that is. They said it is very low fat. Served with steamed rice. I guess most places are accomadating if you ask.

I think I may have found a place for the wedding and reception. I am going to call tomorrow and see if I can go look at it.

check it out: www.larimorehouse.com

I think it is very pretty and has a small chapel that will work great for us!

Looks pretty. did you decide yet?
Kathy i am right there with you in that time of the month today was a hard day for me. I thin you are right about the videos there is not much out there that I have shown an interest in.
I do have Karen voights circuit training video, I have done it once or twice I think. I have a few of her tapes, but I find her hard to get into, sometimes I find her voice (searching for the right word) boring or maybe not fun.
fran did you have a good weigh in. For me I am gald the week is over my niece and nephew went home today, I have my nights back.
I hope everyone had a great Saturday

I have an appointment Tuesday at 4:30 to get a tour and talk to them about pricing. On a scale of:
inexpensive
affordable
moderate
expensive
It is labeled as affordable. But..the question is affordable for who? We will see!

I was up a pound at weigh in yesterday, or did I already say that. I deserve it since I ate terrible all week on vacation. But now, I have a new sense of motivation and I am taking it one day at a time! I am making my halloween goal ladies!!!

I did my 1 mile WATP tape this morning. I think I did it 4 of 7 days last week. I am shooting for 5 this week and every week. I think I need at least another week with the one mile before I try the two.

Hi Ladies,
happy Sunday! I am not so happy. I STAYED THE SAME and a bit disappointed:( . I think I may be putting on muscle weight. I might ease off the weight this week. I like being strong but I don't like the weight gain. BUT I am going to journal every morsal this week. I noticed last week I was putting hard candy in my mouth and not counting it. So, I will be very diligent (sp?) this week.:D

Jibelle- I hope all goes well with your tour. Ask lots of questiions and make sure you love it. Also, journal like crazy and that pound will be gone.

Take care and remain positive:jig:
