(I dunno if this belongs in General Chatter or Food Talk, mod please feel free to move accordingly)

Full disclosure: I've never tried it and I've never been to Cincinnati. That said, I dare say it sounds good. (What does anybody think of chocolate as an ingredient in a savory dish?) But doesn't that photo look just a little as if it strayed in from This Is Why You're Fat?

Mole is often made with chocolate and I've made a chocolate chili before. It almost sounds like they tried to mesh Mexican Mole with an american style chili.

it's actually based on a greek family's recipe - less chocolate (not sweet) and more that classic cinnamon-y flavor from a moussaka. (i'm a cincinnati girl.)

and, yes, cincinnati chili is the BOMB. :)

Well chocolate isn't sweet until you add sugar to it :)

It is actually a good source of fiber and really adds complexness to chilis I think especially when mixed with various chiles.
