Default antidepressant, other random thoughts

I was so "good" until recently, not cheating at all. Now, I've lost 25# and feel alot better but feel like I'm giving myself alot more slack b/c of it. I'm also finishing my grad degree in May and feel like I'm kinda celebrating a little, giving myself too much freedom. Also, I feel hungrier lately. That's probably b/c I'm sneaking more carbs in and it makes me crave more. Also, I started on Zoloft about a month ago. Last time I was on an antidepressant, I gained alot of weight. One last thought -Anyone else lose some weight, start feeling good and maybe think you look better than you do? I saw a pic of myself over Easter and realized that I still have ALOT to lose. Reality check. My program is over in 2 wks and I have to decide whether to re-up or not. Sorry for the ramble. Just had to get all that out.

Congratulations on your weight loss and your grad degree!: Please don't go back to your old bad habits.....you've lost 25lbs. That's something to celebrate but not by sabotaging yourself and gaining it back. You know the carb cheats are making you hungrier.....so try your best not to cheat. If you feel like the zoloft is making you gain weight,...is there another anti-depressent you can go on?. (Don't stop taking it unless under your doctors supervision!!!) Talk to your doctor,....if this is the only medicine you've found that works for you, then just realize it is an obstacle for you to overcome in your weight loss. Don't give up on the road you've come so far down. You're a smart girl!!!!
You just need to get over the speed bump. Continue to get feedback from the site here,.....there are a lot of seasoned veterans that have been right where you are now. Stay strong,.......

I just graduated in January with my grad degree. Early congrats to you! I totally understand what you mean about thinking you look better than you do. I saw pics of myself over Easter and was severly disappointed. When I was on Zoloft a couple years ago I actually lost weight. It took my hunger away - but it only lasted for about a month. Congrats on your weight loss!
