Ok, I just tried the new Weight Watcher candy, the Fruities...

Blech. Anyone like them?

You know I did like them at first -- but after I had a few I noticed I was getting a headache! I cut out all aspartame back in 1998 and I know these have it in them -- so I just stopped eating them. No big loss -- they weren't that good anyway! LOL

I love them!!! They remind me of a English Gum Drop :)

They looked good when I took them out of the package. They weren't smooth in my mouth like I thought they would be, kind of dusty-like...but hey, they're sugarless and for a whole pack for 1 point, what do ya expect? LOL....I'll pass though! I'm talking here like I am some big candy EXPERT. :D Well, in some ways, I guess I am!

I never would have bought them.. but I "won" them at my meeting (we were playing the hot/cold game) - I bought another 3 pack last night.

We have one member in our meeting who buys 2 or 3 packs every week! To me, anything that's not chocolate isn't worth the points, but to each his own!

I agree about the chocolate! I have not tried the fruities yet!

I really like them... reminds me of wine gum candy I use to eat when I was a kid. Besides, something different to keep my mouth busy while I'm cooking supper. :lemon:

they looked just like the diabetic candy my mom buys at the health food store or drug store. probably cheaper, too.

i'm not buying the ww stuff this time around; it's easier for me in the long run to find healthier non processed alternatives or easily found items in a conventional grocery store.

The fruities I can live without, although I do like the blackberry ones. It's the 2 Points bars I can't stop eating! I have to have one every day with my lunch. They are my reward for staying OP. When I'm out at the store and want to buy a big bag of M&M's I promise myself I can have a 2 pts bar when I get home, even if it means I go over my points for the day. So far it's working. BTW, is everyone getting the new flavors of bars soon? We are getting 4 new flavors in our franchise next month. Too bad they discontinued cookie dough, milk chocolate, fudgy peanut and brownie almond, though. I wish they'd keep them all!!!

I like them. I haven't tried the Caramel yet, but I like the Chocolate ones with the little crispies in them. I try to tell myself they are one of those 100,000 Grand candy bars that I love! I had the oatmeal raisin and the chocolate-chocolate 2 Point Bars, though and they are good. I go to a Monday night meeting at 7:00, cause I work until 6, and by then...I am STARVING. So, when the meeting is over, I am eating one in the car on the way home. They probably think, "Dang, she is barely out of the meeting for 5 minutes and she is chowing down food!" :D

The bars ARE a nice little treat. Anyone try the smoothies?

I think I would have liked the cookie dough. YUM!

Smoothies = YUCK!!!

To me it was like eating chalk with some milk in it -- I didn't like them AT ALL!

Hi - this is my first post. I have been on WW for 2 weeks now. I've lost 4.7 pounds so far according to their scale. I have a total of 30 to lose.

About the Fruiteez - I tried one of the berry ones and it was so so. But this week I bought the lemon and I absolutely loved it. The zesty-ness of the lemon hides any taste of artificial sweetener. They're just plain good.

Hmmm...I may need to try those lemon ones! I LOVE lemon drops.

I REALLY love the Altoid Sours. The Citrus and Tangerine are SO good. They are perfect when you are cooking dinner and don't want to keep tasting what you are cooking. The sourness takes away your desire to nibble. (The sour lasts for about a minute and then it is fairly sweet.)

Yum

If you look carefully you can find fruit snacks made with real juice that are 1 point per package and you get 10 packages for box for about $2.00! Target has their own brand that fits the bill. I think that these might be a bit healthier (and tastier) than the Fruitees, which I don't really care for.

Are you referring to those little fruity gel snacks? I didn't realize they were so low in points.

I was so bummed to hear that they were discontinuing the cookie dough 2 pt bars! They were my absolute favorite! I tried the Crispy chocolate but didn't care for them. It tasted like the crispy part was nutty, and I don't care for nuts.

I BROKE MY TOOTH OFF ON THE CRISPY CHOCOLATE!!!!

OMG, I bit into one, and it had a hard crispy or something in it, and it chipped off part of my back tooth. Yikes.

So, I am open to trying the rest, but now...I take a pass on the Crispy Chocolate.

Hi Gals:
I wasn't mad about the fruities either. I do eat a lot of certs and breath savers that have no calories. The berries are the best of all.

The 2 point bars are also another attempt for WW to get as much of our money as possible. There are other bars I've found that are good, cost 2 points, and cost less. I get a box of Pria bars at Sam's for about $15 and it has 24 bars in the box of different flavors. Comes out to .63 cents each.

Peace baby
