Found this fun quiz.. See how well you do!

I got 18 out of 24, which made me a "master snacker". I was off on the miso soup and sushi, and a couple of the other ones. Some I knew because I've measured exactly how many chips or crackers or M&Ms out for a "serving" so many times.

But it really does go to show how easy it is for portion distortion to overwhelm us.

LOL i am not a snack master yet.. i got 15 out of 24 but its a pretty cool quiz!! thanks

19 out of 24. I guess I overestimated on a few things!

15 out of 24 for me!! That was interesting. Thanks!

19 out of 24 - Master Snacker. That was cute! Thanks!

17 out of 24, though I was guessing on the foods I don't eat. (Ex: Never had an annie's pretzel or muffin top thingies)

I got all the foods I DO eat correct so that was good.

19/24 - most of the ones I was wrong on because I overestimated their calories, so I guess that's not so bad!

23/24. Big surprise there ;)

I only got one wrong, and I'm calling it an error on their part. They showed a photo of edamame in-shell, but used the calories for edamame shelled. Meaning that if you gave the correct answer for the picture they showed, their numbers would only be accurate if you ate the pods. Which aren't edible. Since they didn't specify "Edible Parts", and the picture showed both edible and inedible portions, I object!

Maybe I'm just irritated that this quibble ruined my perfect score!

Amanda, we'll give you credit! :D

18 and I underguessed on several of the ones I missed. I did guess the smaller amount on pretty much all of the processed/fast food type things, that seemed like a gimme!

15/24.. there were some surprises!!

04-07-2010, 06:03 PM
I missed 4 - pretty good.

Fun quiz.

I've only counted calories for about a month now, and I got 12 right.

I agree with astrophe, some of this stuff, like the powdered donut, I don't eat, so how would I know?.

20 out of 24! I did better than I thought

04-07-2010, 06:46 PM
14 out of 24. The fast food ones didn't require too much thought on my part though!

20 out of 24 for me! It was a cute quiz; thanks for posting it.

17/24 for me

04-07-2010, 09:04 PM
16 :)

not to shabby

20/24 What's sad is that I knew instantly exactly how many peanut M&Ms make up 100 calories.

I missed the edamame and the string cheese (that I can remember). My string cheese has 80 calories, so I used that as a guide! I am gooood at calorie estimation, I should be - been doing it for 6 years!

20/24 (although I also consider the edamame a trick question).

My errors were on foods I never eat (except the edamame).
