Hi to anyone that happens to wander in here this weekend! I haven't had any time to post during the week, but I did want to drop by and catch up. Besides, what else could I do for a study break on a Friday night?! :yikes:
School is really good, but SO much work. I knew it would be, and reality has really set in. I have always liked studying and learning so that is not a problem for me. It's just that after work and class and studying I have zero time left for anything else, including the things I took for granted - like painting my nails, making a real dinner, watching tv, etc. :stress: Don't get me wrong though - I am so glad I am doing it and I am truly enjoying it; I am still just adjusting to the major impact it has had on my life. The good thing is that it has made me much more productive with my time at work (hence, not many posts from me) and has actually made me in a much better mood lately. I feel like I am accomplishing something, albeit slowly.
Other than that, nothing is going on with me. I am running Race for the Cure in 2 weeks so I have tried to run a few times a week to stay prepared for that. I have 3 days a week off of school, and have to force myself to work out on those 3 days. That is just not something I am willing to give up.
As for everyone else, let's see what I remember from having just read the posts....
Jayne - Congrats on the job!!
Deb - Hope your son is adjusting well to school. A good friend of mine has just decided to see someone about her food issues (overeating, etc.) Let me know if you decide to go that route. I am always interested to see what impact it would have... I'm sure it helps.
Jibbelle - Welcome!
Laura - Hope work isn't driving you too crazy. I know what that is like lately.
Tonya, Jen, Lisa, Jess, Kirsty (where are you?!), Lori, Kier, Ali, Kim, Belle, KT, Becky - a big Hi!! Hope you're all doing well.
