a chocolate protein shake or carnation instant breakfast sugar free with some milk, a chocolate fiber bar, my fave is Kellogs and they have a choc& peanut butter one! or some cocoa krispies with skim milk. and dark chocoalte is good for your heart if you like that

Throw in an workout DVD, even if it's a stretching or quick ab video, working out will always help calm my cravings. Plus it helps w/any moodiness or cramps.

Oh wow do I KNOW the period cravings.

I approach it from a different angle.. I KNOW if I crack and have some that I'll want MORE AND MORE AND MORE. Then more won't be enough and I'll be eating the house and gaining water weight like it's going out of style (ask me how I know this... LOL!!!!)

I'm not a saint... but when I do succeed (which I clearly do more often then not) I JUST SAY NO. I have a cup of tea. Take a hot bubble bath. Go for a long walk. Chew gum. Groom my collie. Talk to a friend on the phone ...

try some of those things and see if it works for you!
