Been busy but don't want to bore you with the mundane details of my life...lest I risk another lecture!

I gained back all 6 pounds that I lost before I got sick. Gonna have to do something about that! I've been really nervous and when I get nervous I eat!

Dh is cooperating fully (not something he always does) with new kidney dr. Had more blood work, etc. yesterday. They've changed some of his bp meds. Also told him potassium levels high (usually low) and made some diet changes. Will have ultrasound, more blood work next Wed. He feels well, golfed yesterday, plans to tomorrow and Sat. I've started to keep a med journal on each of us; wish I had done that years ago. I was able to reconstruct a lot from the kidney problems he had two years ago. Don't know if it will help drs. a lot but it helped me to review it all.

I have not done well over the weekend and seem to be retaining water (I salt almost nothing and when I eat something prepared by someone else I do bulk up on water). I am feeling an urge to eat I have not been having lately. I'm assuming it's the additional stress and trying to let my mind rule the situation. My mind doesn't always listen to me.

We're going to work this am; look for some fun thing to do this afternoon since it's supposed to be a beautiful day and I think we both need to go out and have some fun.

Candice, my son's room (I'm ashamed to say) is as he left it when he went to college in 1983. I've packed it up several times and he comes home and puts stuff out. We have an ongoing battle over it. Btw, he married in 1991 but still seems to need what I call "his shrine". Actually, now I suspect he just needs to torment me. I clean it up maybe twice a year. But ONE OF THESE DAYS......Right now I have too many other things to work on that i don't seem to get done.

Happy, we don't seem as Yappy as last several weeks. Hope all are feeling better.

I decided I better come on and say hello or I would not get any notifications. Oh yes,I found out I had to report to boards so that I could get notifications.
My son left home a few times. Moved back for awhile after his wife and he broke up. The last time he left,I decided it was the last. A lot of grown men get along better with their parents when they don't live with them. He is one of them. His room is now my room and a visitor now and then. I do my sewing and crafts there. My daughters room became my hubbys room. We have a sleeper couch there when all the family is here at once.
Happy- You are so right! I have to stay busy. I go from morning to night. I have sewed since I was a little girl . I was in a convent school. The nuns were good at keeping us busy. That was in the late 30's ,early 40's. It was not the happiest time in my life.I lived there. I was too young to not have parents there .
Meme- We all do the best we can. I don't mind you unloading. I think we all need someone sometime. If it makes you feel better,go for it. We are all here for each other.
Candice- turn that room of your sons into your room. He has his own life now.
Anagram..I too have the desire to eat when I think things are piling up on me. I mean a real binge sometimes. I know that just about every food product in the stores are full of salt. I feel that one of the best things to do is not add more. Even though sometimes I do and have to pay the price later. I like junk food and probably always will.I am glad your hubby is doing better. There is nothing worse than a man sick.
Mima- Feel better soon...It is nice not to work.
Hello Ally- Serenity.. How is it going with WW?
Got to go girls. I have lots to do. I am making some new things to take on my trip...Bye, Joanne

Hi Gals

I am just fine - still losing weight - slowly.

Thought I had entered mssge last week but guess it didn't go in.

I too am wheezing - my allergies and asthma are bad. Mold, pollen, ragweed, etc etc etc. As long as I take my meds. I am ok.

Once the kids leave - always used their room for something, or they will think it's theirs forever. lol.

Hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer.

I redid my kid's rooms as soon as they left home!!!!!!!

Is anyone else allergic to FABRIC SOFTENER? My mom used Downy and I brought a bottle over here that she had left at home. I accidentally picked it up the other day and poured some in my wash (Downy and Snuggles are the same color bottle). When I went to fold the clothes, I started sneezine and my nose started running and my eyes started watering. It was awful. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me at first. Then I smelled the clothes and figured out I had used the Downy. I thought it would pass once I got used to it or brought the clothes up and put them away, etc. But everytime I get out a towel or something, there goes the eyes again and I start to sneeze!

I have had a headache for a week now!

Serenity...way to go on the weight loss...wish I had some of your willl power right now. I've been down lately and nervous! For one thing, I've been trying to use that hormone patch and it doesn't work! Now my hormones are all out of whack! I put on one of those things one morning and it came off in the shower that night. You're only supposed to have to change them twice a week. I've gone back to the pills. Hope that gets straightened out soon. Then, for another thing, I'm trying to get stuff ready for the big garage sale Saturday and still going through Mom's stuff (and mine). I keep running across little things that remind me of something. Today, I found a note my Dad wrote me back in the 70s. Traumatic stuff! I just sat down and cried...then I ate!

I'll get through this soon...I hope! If I don't, I think I'm going to lose what little I have left of my mind!!! I need to lose some of my fat instead...have PLENTY of that left!!!

Meme-I couldn't wear the patch-it made me bleed so I take the combo soon to be replaced by something new . It's good to cry. It's healing. Best of luck for your yard sale. It's fun to talk to people.
Cool day today but beautiful. I'm wheezing a little less. Going to lawyer today for wills and deeds. Necessary!!!I went to breakfast yesterday with former teachers and then to dinner with other former teachers. Nice to connect. Bye for now and hello everyone. Mima

I'm dealing on ebay again...I love doing that!!! I thought you all might be interested in seeing my stuff. If you have anything you'd like to get rid of, ebay is the place and it is soooo easy to use. You get a lot more on ebay than you do from a yard sale, too!

The first one already has 3 bids on it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2050898911

This one only has one bid so far:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2050903963

This one doesn't have any bids. It may not sell...beer steins aren't doing to well right now.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2137432383

If you decide you want to try to sell something and need help, let me know. I've bought and sold several things on ebay. I love to watch stuff...wait until the last hour and then bid on it...if it hasn't gone too high! And I love watching my own merchandise, too. The fee for placing items for bid is really low. Especially if you don't sell. These three things were just .55 each. If they sell, I pay about $1.30 of the final bid to ebay.

Mima - glad you had a good lunch and dinner with friends. That is always so nice. Did you go to the Dr. yet. Am interested in what he has to say about Premarin. I am going tomorow to see my DR. I am taking Black Cohosh and Evening Primrose. Also a cream called Feramone that I got from my Naurepath. Seems to be working not so bad. Still break out in the occassional hotflash, but they appear to be getting less (I hope). Do they EVER go away if you stay off the hormones, or is it something we have for the rest of our lives?

Meme - Just don't overdo it and make yourself sick. Garage or Yard sales are great fun. I love to have them and I love to go to them. I looked at your ebay things. On the second little dish, someone bid the asking price - can they bid higher if they want? Everything looks to be in such good condition. Lots of luck to you.

Bedrooms - when my daughter moved out and went to college, my son actually leaped into her room (it was upstairs and all the rest were on the main level). He had the wallpaper ripped off the walls before she got her stuff out. The first time she came home, she didn't know what to do and felt like a guest. I had to put her straight right smartly and told her she wasn't a guest, and she could help clean up the kitchen. Nothing like reality to put things in perspective:lol: She just moved back into her old room when she was home. I had made it into a guest room - actually both bedrooms that had been the kids were now guest rooms. When my son left, he cleaned out his room - took his bed, dresser etc. Not much left when he was through, and that room just sat empty. Now I had 3 empty bedrooms, an empty family room and a big house to look after, and such a bloody sore back that I couldn't do it - to remedy this, we sold our home of 20 years. Now I have two bedrooms - ours and a guest room. Got a double bed with a single bunk on the top and that takes care of my daughter and family. I have an airmattress as well, and that goes to my son. They all come home on long weekends, so I need it. What I need is two bedrooms and a den, then I could put a hideaway in the den.

Sorry Candice - the yappy, happycanuk is writing you a book again.

Anagram - hope things are going ok for you and that your hubby is feeling better. It is the worry of it all that would stress me out.

Serenity - Nice to see you. Hope you start to feel better. All kinds of stuff in the air at this time of the year. I am surrounded by farming communities and usually, not this year, when they are cutting their crops, I suffer. That is one good thing about a drought - possibly the only good thing.

Candice - clean out the bedroom and make it into something you can use and enjoy.

Ally - Hello. Hope you are doing ok. Boys back at school now I suspect.

Everyone have a good day.

Yes, Happy, those hot flashes will eventually go away if you're off hormones. I took the hormones for a few years for night sweats, etc. Then, because I have a family history of breast cancer, I opted out. It took a while till things levelled out but indeed they did.

I envy you your smaller place. We have been looking at some for ten years or so and kept putting it off (or impending surgery, recuperations put it off). Dh is feeling ok, golfed again today and walked 18 holes as usual. But they've changed his meds again and yesterday dropped a low potassium diet on him. This almost blows my mind because for years I've had to pump K into him and he was on potassium pills for a while. It is indeed the worry. I'm fairly sure they won't get to reverse things this time but I understand he can live a long time with kidney failure (so my sister the R.N. said). But if this diet is any indication, he's going to get real skinny (and he already weighs less than I, of course).
So we'll take it a day at a time.

I do use daughter's ex-room as a guest room and have a pull out couch in a bedroom for kiddies. So when they're all here I still have room but they fill up the house. In fact even when son and wife aren't here, daughter's family fills up house. I was able to have a real "Grandma's house" Thanksgiving dinner last year for granddaughter to remember (had not been able to for a while because of bad knee). Don't know if that will work out for 2 year old granddaughter.

As to son, I told you I'm a softie as far as he's concerned. Until he and his wife finally bought a house last year I entertained the thought he might change when he had his own home. His wife told me he told her he wants his room to stay the same because he had such a good time in it and he wanted it there for his kids to enjoy. However, he's married 11 years and I don't see any young'uns yet so he may have run out of time for that to happen (the room, that is not a baby).

well best get back to dinner. Don't want to burn it (AGAIN?).

Anne...they can take the bidding as high as they want to go. Go back and look at the little bowl again...it is $8.50 right now. I started the 4 jadite bowls out at $49.99 and they are up to $66 now.

I turned my son's old room into a play room for the 4 little kids. I put a bookcase with kids books, a large toy box and a futon with a bunk on top (sleeps 3) in there. That way, if all 4 of the kids want to spend the night at once, they can. The boys like to sleep at opposite ends of the top bunk and the girls sleep on the bottom. It lets down into a full size bed. It's really just a big cushion but it's pretty comfortable...I take naps on it with the kids a lot in the afternoon. We have a TV and VCR up high in one corner...it's a perfect place for them to play in when they are all here...and getting on my nerves!!! Hubby took my daughter's old room and bathroom and I have the Master BR and bath. Then we have a full basement to 'slop over' to when everybody is here for the day. Of course, my kids live so close I don't have to worry about them all coming for the night. Hubby's uncle left him some land when he died a few years back and I've been trying to talk him into building a new house...all on one floor. Would be nice not to have those stairs!

Almost done with the garage sale stuff...one more day (and night) should get it! Then I can get ready for my trip to NC. I can't wait for that. I can't decide whether to stay 5 nights or 6...I might just stay over until Wednesday!

Jenna's preschool class is celebrating Grandparent's Day tomorrow morning by going to the park...they have invited all their Grandparents. Jenna's (she's 3) other 3 grandparents have to work all day tomorrow and can't go so...I'm it! She gave me a big hug and a sloppy kiss tonight and said "Peeze" Meme! So...Guess I'll go 'play' tomorrow!!!

Thanks for the bedroom stories:) I plan on using it for storage since our basemnt is moldy and damp and I have no where to put things for storage..like Christmas stuff...It is a small room and the furniture is still there. (and I have tons of stuff I keep saving for grandkids but none yet....and I'm in no hurry:D)

Done with the antibiotic....now my eating can get back to normal!!!!!!!!!!

Still having the pain though..had a lumbar x-ray but everything normal he thinks. Which is a good thing.

My mamo came back with an assymetrical density in the left one so I have to have a recheck in 6 months...have you ever had that before? Anyone??????

Mima
09-06-2002, 07:40 AM
Once I had to have an ultrasound after a mammo. I have a cyst so they watch it. Anne-I am getting a new prescr. that is alternative to prempro. We'll see how that goes. Still having wicked sinus and wheezing. Something is blooming. My son sells tons on ebay and so does my nephew. And you make more money than selling it outright. He also buys and knows the trick of waiting til last minute.

We booked our cruise down the Mississippi. We will be on it on Thanksgiving. It sounds so nice. What will the weather be in late Nov. Meme?
I solved the problem of the kids' rooms by selling my house-actually I couldn't afford to pay for it by myself. Bye for now. Mima

Candice...I had that...they called it A-Typical density...it was like fibrocystic. They did a biopsy and there was so much thickening they took a lot of it out...now I have a 'dent' and a scar about 3 inches long. I was having exams every 6 months, mammograms, ultrasounds...whole works. Now I'm down to once a year again. Mastitis and Fibrocystic breast disease runs in my family as does cancer so I have to really watch it (or them!!! )

Look here:
http://www.health-alliance.com/contentarchive/october00/women.html

As for the weather on the Mississippi in late November. It could be anything from freezing cold and snow to sunny and crisp...or...it could even be a cold drizzle at that time of year. The weather around here varies so in the late fall / early winter, that you can't predict it! Sorry...I wish I could be more help but even the weather men can't predict the weather correctly here!

I just spent 1 1/2 hrs. at the park with my 'baby doll'. She constantly reminds the other 3 that SHE'S Meme's 'baby doll'! She's totally spoiled rotton (and I love it!) My four yr. old granddaughter asked me just yesterday why Jenna thinks she is the only one who can be my 'baby doll'. I had to laugh at that (but I didn't let her see me!) I told her it was because Jenna was still just a baby and was jealous and that she (Kaylyn) could be my baby girl. That seemed to satisfy her. It's so hard...being so popular! :p

Well Girls this has been a busy but quiet day here. I hope the weekend will stay the same and that all of you will have a great weekend.
Things have not changed for me much. I am still talking bad to my knee every time it slips out of place and that is several times a day. It is just the waiting game for me.
I have been busy sewing for my trip. I a don't know what the weather is like in Az. in October so I am staying safe and taking denim . I can't wear pants too well with a knee brace. It looks really bulky. Split skirts and skirts. I call them comfort wear. I can hardly wait. I just wonder how my hubby is going to do while I am gone. My son might have his hands full.

Joanne-You are so smart to sew your clothes. At least the knee can't bother you as much!!

ok-my newest problem is IBS/diverticulosis. I had \an attack yesterday and had to take my stomache med all day. Good today but feel like I'm 9 months along-I'm so bloated/ Had oatmeal for breakfast. Could have eaten some seeds or from the omelette with cheese and asparagus I had when we went out for breakfast,\.
Hubby has gone to work,I'm going to take it easy. Oh yeah, that's what I do every day.,Going to be hot tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyone. Still have the sinus too. Mima

Mima - I hope you feel better today. Not so nice when the IBS starts acting up. Enjoy your day of relaxation:lol

Meme - Have a good yard sale. Hope your weather is nicer than here. It is cloudy and wet this morning.

Joanne - good going on the sewing. As I said before, don't know much about that, but sure are days when I wish I did.

Hi Anagram, Serenity, Candice and Ally.

Well, we are all seeming to have our little medical problems. I have that darn yeast infection back again. This has been going on for a year!! I had the blood test done for sugar in the blood. I guess he plans on getting to the root of the problem this time. It just keeps coming back. There is nothing I don't have to combat it this time!

Have been awake since 5:00 a.m. My neck is so sore I could scream. It is where the whiplash got me. I have Dr. Ho working on it right now.

I won't be around much next week. An old friend of mine is coming to visit for the week, so I shall be very attentive and not be rude and be on the computer. I will get on to read though. So everone have a good week.

HiGuys..... Today will be 93 so have to ge on the computer quick before it gets hot in here.
I will sell my house at the end of this school year and look for my last ever house. I have right now what is called a "starter home". We outgrew this the minute I moved in but it was what I could afford after separating. AND it has been affordable. But nowI want some room. And isn't that wierd? I will buy a bigger house now that my kids will be leaving???
Happy. have fun with your friend. I am always posting when everyone else has plans....
Joanne......I pinned my dress together in home ec a thousand years ago just so I could pass the course. Never went near a sewing machine since. I can still remember the sound of that tissue paper pattern pinned to the material. I envy people who can sew.
Candice and Meme....mammograms. I just signed up for mine and had to make sure it happens right after my period or else it hurts way too much. Of course, I still have my period after 8 dys so maybe it won't matter
:dizzy:
Mima...A cruise on the Mississippi....is it on one of those paddle boats??? You know what I mean...like Mark Twain.
Anagram.......I used to have a "rule" that the men in my life have to weigh 30 lbs more than me. I have had to adjust that over the years.... in fact the ex boyfriend I see right now is my height and only weighs 5 lbs more than me. AND he is SKINNY!!!
Serenity.....I love fall weather....this last blast of heat and humidity are just annoying.....

Quick note...not feeling well. Only got 2 hrs. sleep last night and was outside all day today (in garage with doors open...same thing)...now having an allergy attack! Feels like a summer cold! YUCK!!! We sold $700 worth and still have over half our stuff left. Neither of us wanted to 'get rid' of all of that stuff...some furniture, 3 TVs...lots of books and really good clothes. 3 boxes of toys...lots of other stuff...so...we're having ANOTHER ONE when I get back from NC! GROAN! Sorry everybody else seems to be sick, too. Bad time for all!

Enjoy your friend's visit, Happy, and hope that somehow "cures" the yeast infection. Envy you the sewing talent too, Joanne. Didn't realize dh was not going to AZ with you.

Ally, I wouldn't mind being only FIVE LBS less than dh or even only five lbs over. The other side of the problem is that he's shrunk but he's still 5' 10" while I've shrunk and am no longer 5'5".

Not good news, Mima re the IBS/divert. I've gone back on the daily Metamucil for my divert. partly because I was told to but partly because I seem to have more of it than before and the picures sure aren't pretty. My allergies are doing somewhat better. I've done some outside walking and pulled about three weeds yesterday. But not going to chance much more than that. I find if I treat it with respect it does the same in return. If I fool around and aggravate it, it aggravates me right back.

No special plans today yet. Dh being real good about the new diet. But I've been talking "at" him about several other points and don't know how far I'm going to get. DD keeps after me to keep after him. I guess it's hard for her to accept her daddy being in less than good health. DS and wife will come next weekend and stay till Tuesday. Overdue but I understand. And he wants to go see his Grandma too so that should give her a kick.

Wish you all a good week.

Anagram- My hubby does not like to go much farther than his kids houses. I have tried for a number of years to get him to go out there with me.He will not fly anywhere. I decided if I wait for him I will never get to go.We sometimes get him to go on a family vacation. He sits in the room and waits to go home. You can't win on this one. My sister and I are going together.
Mima- I have made nearly everything I have to wear since I was 12 -13 years old. I see the price now and won't pay it when I know I can make it cheaper. I sewed for all my family and had my own business for many years. I had a nursing degree so when the Dr. told me one day to get away from the machine or my back would only get worse and I would end up in a W/C I started to sew just for myself and family. By then my children were out of school and I didn't need to stay home as much.
Meme- I love Garage sales. I don't get to go to often. Maybe when my sister comes back from N.Y. we will do some of that. I always end up buying something that I don't need.
Ally- You sound like my sisters. One can sew a little and the other is lost. She doesn't give it a thought. I enjoy it and most handcrafts. I love creating something different that you don't find a hundred like it in the mall. I can't tell you how many hours I have spent on things and then gave them away. Now if I could get to all the dust in my house ,I would be ahead of the game.

Anagram...does your hubby pick on you? My exbf would pick on me when I was 30lbs less than him. No matter what my butt and thighs and upper arms will always be bigger.
Meme....Get well.
Mima....my neighbor (the one I can't stand) is getting new fencing on all sides of her yard but mine. The fence is on my side of the fence there. It would be so nice of her to replace it as it is old and falling apart, but she won't.

What a great day we had yesterday. Church, shopping, out to eat!
Happy-I fight yeast all the time. I have some acidolpholus tht I keep on hand and take when I start feeling itchy. I know it's from medication-it's a setup.
Joanne-I bought some new balance sneakers yesterday-I think you said that's what you wore. They feel good. My Nike's caused the pain on the top of my foot that I had to have treated. I have a right foot that doesn't want to go in the right direction-from twisting it 3 times.
How are you doing Meme. Hope you are better!
My diverticulosis is better. That is good, Just ate 3 apricots for fiber.

Hi everyone! I haven't posted here before, but I have been reading this thread for a week or so.

I have had all sorts of weird mammograms -- cysts, calcium deposits, density imbalances. I think that anyone with a fairly large bust measurement is going to have more irregularities. My mom has the same problem -- every mammogram requires additional testing of some kind.

So far, we've had nothing which required any intervention, even though we've had about 10 "irregular" mammograms between us. So hang in there, and don't worry.

P.S. My favorite "omigod" gynecological moment happened on our honeymoon. We were visiting Canada at the time. I retrieved my phone messages on Friday evening, and my doctor's office had left a very stern-sounding message that "your PAP smear has come back positive". It happened to be the Labor Day weekend, and my husband and I were absolutely insane until we finally reached the doctor on Tuesday afternoon. And sure enough, my PAP test was positive...for a yeast infection! Sheesh! Talk about a lousy way to spend a honeymoon.

Welcome Auntie- It is usually the the level of "intelligence" of the person making the call to patients that causes the upset.I am a nurse(retired) and can tell you that I often wondered where the Doctors found them. They should not be the ones to pass on information. They should have just left a message for you to call back.I hope all your days are Happy.
Mima- I wear only New Balance . I had a sales person tell me if I tried them I would never wear any other. Now I don't always believe a sales person. She was so right! Now all the members of my family wear them. Hope you feel better soon.
Ally- I have not done too much kniting. I have to teach myself to do that. I crochet. My hubby used to pick on me all the time when I was overweight. I made an effort to fatten him up while I was losing. Payback is ****.

Hi Joanne! Thankls for the warm welcome.

Our physician specifically told my husband to wear New Balance shoes also. He wears both their dress shoes and sneakers exclusively, and has done so for the past five years. His feet have always been terrible...flat arches, hammertoes, ingrown nails, bunions...you name it. But he's had so much relief from wearing New Balance shoes. Not just from foot problems, but also from knee and hip pain. He's a big fellow (over 6 feet and 350 lbs.) and he was having trouble walking before he changed his brand of shoes. So I can give New Balance a 110% enthusiastic review too.

Knee and hip pain! That's what I have !!!So glad I bought those shoes. I'll have to get Brad to buy some-he just bought 2 new pr so it won't be for a while. I always wore Nike Air til my foot started to bother me.
I was all set to go out last night when my car wouldn't start . Seems hubby left the back door open and the battery went dead. He put the charger on this am. I should have called him to come home last night!!!!!!
My stomache stil is acting up-lots of pain. Guess I'll take my stomache relaxer. I get sick of meds.
I'm going to finish my stenciling today. It's so cute!I am on a roll-going to do the hall too. Hi to everyone and welcome Peaceful!!!Mima

Well, dh had ultrasound of kidneys and more blood work this a.m. He says he's feeling better on low potassium diet though he never admitted he wasn't feeling well before - I think he was just more tired not "sick". So, now we wait, I guess.

I eked out only a "maintain" this week and that seemed like lots of work. Just going to stay with what I've been doing until things settled down re his new diet and then if things don't improve for me I'll have to rethink it and come up with a new strategy.

Good day all.

Serenity...get better. Cause I only get on the computer at home a few days a week I know how hard it is to keep up here. I miss some of your good talks...
Gyno stuff. (Hi Auntie and welcome) I have bacterial vaginitis. First they took a test for chlamydia and ghonorea (sp) and I was laying there totally embarrassed and also practicing my speech to my boyfriend in which I dump him and tell him he is scum........
then they come back to tell me that the cells under the microscope show I have bacterial vaginitis which is very common BUT it comes usually from poor hygiene habits and I got a lecture on WIPING. Sheeeesh. I am 46 years old. I have been wiping OK for 46 years. I can't believe this.
Anyway....I am not dying of anything at this particular moment that I know of.....
Joanne......My goal in life is to make everyone else in my life gain weight so I look smaller in comparison. I am always feeding people.

Ally- Pretty Good ! I like that. Esp. the ones who always find ways to make us feel large. Eat lots of yogart. It is good for the vaginal problems.
Serinity -Get well. I need to pay more attention to what I am eating. Comfort food just makes me have upset stomach.
Anagram - I am always trying new methods. I am not gaining but not going down. I have got to do a better job of it.

Hope all feel a bit better today. Went to candlelight vigil last night. Very nice. Well done.

Expecting a good weekend. DS and wife coming Sat, staying till Tuesday (shock!). DD and family going to drive up and meet us for lunch on Sunday and then drive back. (Round trip almost 4 hours - hope kiddies are good for them.) Of course they're calling for the possibility of rain but maybe it will miss them while they're travelling.

Off to pool - good day to all.
