Default How to accurately figure out my 10% lost number?

Can someone tell me if the WW center will round off the numbers to figure out the 10% lost amount? (Do they include the .6 in the math?)

I will be the first to admit I suck at math and am trying to figure out how many pounds I need to lose to get to the 10% lost goal??

I started at 173.4 and I am currently at 157.8

Marie

Just move the decimal over one to get 10%.

So if you started at 173.4, your 10% is 17.34 or round to 17.3 or even 17.

I just started attending WW meetings on February 1st and they calculated my 10% by dropping the .8 on 182.8 and put my 10% at 18 lbs. I don't know if every site is different or not, but that's how it was done for me...

Thank you everyone!

I am laughing right now because I was totally spacing out on my basic math. I had a neighbor (who is from the UK) tell me how to figure it out. Didn't make sense. Then this morning......my son said "Uh Mom...she's using metric!"

Can you say "DUH?"

Thanks everyone for your help! I am getting close then. Only 1.6 to go!
