Default Is no time your excuse? Try this, you might like it!

So back in October when I decided to join the gym I was that girl who said..."No way will you find me in here at 5am" Instead I was going to "fit" working out into my already crazy schedule. You know...kids, house, hubby, groceries...I always found an excuse to NOT workout. In January I started hitting the gym at 5am and what a difference!! 25 lbs in about 10 weeks and I feel great. I know getting up at 4:30 is a killer but now I have no guilt. The kids are still alseep, hubby is asleep. I just love getting in my gym time without taking away from all of my other activities. I get home at 7am as everyone is getting up.

Here is my routine
5:15 ish to 5:45 I either climb stairs or treadmill (walk, run incline..whatever) everyday
5:45 -6:45 Tues and Thurs Spin class
5:45 - 6:45 Mon, Wed, Fri Step strength class (step with 5 or 8 lb hand weights)

Twice a week I add an extra personal training workout. On the weekend I usually pick a class like Yoga or Pilates.

Just thought I'd share what works for me. After years of making excuses I've finally got a routine and I love it.

That's awesome. I have a friend that gets up at 3:30 to be at the gym by 4:00 a.m. She loves it. I, on the other hand, am one of those people that will not work out in front of other people. Someday maybe, but not right now.

I used to do that too when I was working/in school. Get there as soon as the gym opened because that was the only time I could make for gym stuff.

Life changed as a SAHM, and now I can choose other times to workout, but you rock on doing what it takes in your schedule! It's awesome!

I also get up and out (about 5:30) for exercise--but man, I have to go to bed so early!

Default At-home exercises?

Oops, deleting this post because I put it in the wrong section. I meant to make a new thread.

I usually try to get in exercise in the mornings too before I everyone wakes up. I usually get up at about 6:30 and come back before 8:00. It really does start the day off right if I get the exercise in early morning!
