My son was sick last week. I caught his virus and am now sick myself Nothing major like the flu or h1n1, it is just a plain old cold with sore scratchy throat, red eyes, headache, sneezing. I also feel blah and really tired. I want to go home from work but can't so I'm posting here instead (like a good dedicated hard working employee would!)

I have no appetite so I don't plan on eating. I will drink to maintain my hydration but will only eat if I feel motivated to do so. I can't wait until 5pm to go home and go to bed.

Just wanted to whine a bit! Anyone feel sorry for me? I posted on my facebook that I wish someone would call my mom to pick me up like I did for my son last week. I'd love to be excused from responsibilities for a few days to lay on the couch to drink 7-up, eat Popsicles, sip chicken noodle soup and watch movies back to back.

I feel sorry for you! I am a kindergarten teacher so I am usually sick with a cold starting in October until March! (but that never stopped me from eating though ) I hope you feel better soon! Keep yourself hydrated!
