Default Salad Dressings

I have been eating a TON of salads lately and I have been trying to find healthy dressings. Does anyone have any good recipes for a good low calorie dressing? Or suggestions for a tasty HEALTHY store bought dressing?

I love store-bought italian dressing. It's only 80 calories for 2 tsps...which doesn't sound like a ton of dressing but it is bc its so flavorfull. Additionally they have those spray that are like 1 or 2 calories a spray that you can buy (I was obsessed with those for a while). I was also a fan of an low-cal ranch dressing (only like 80-90 cal. per serving) but I can't remember the people who make it.

fat free italian is just as good as its full fat counter part and its only 25 calories per 2 tablespoons ...if im having a truley huge salad i allow myself 4 tablespoons its 2 servings of veggies so why not two servings of dressing .... and at just 50 calories for all 4 tablespoons ..... bring it on !!

I hate salads so I'm not much help, but...my grandmother always tosses her salads with a little bit of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and lemon juice.

If you want something creamy, you could probably do something with fat free greek yogurt and different spices.

I usually put just a bit of balsamic vinegar on my salads. 15 calories per tablespoon.

My favorite store bought dressing is Galeo's Miso Sesame. Only 22 calories per tbsp, 2g fat, and 0.5g carbs! It's tough to find for me though - I've heard Whole Foods carries it, I just haven't made a trip out to look for it yet.

Otherwise, I'll just mix up some balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon (or dijon mustard), and honey (or splenda) for a quick and easy homemade option.

When I have salads, I usually do some kind of salsa. It sound weird, but my salad mostly have chicken in them, so I like the salsa.

I LOVE Ken's Lite Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette Dressing. It doesn't take much dressing at all -- especially if you shake your salads in 2 bowls or a tupperware container.

A serving is 2 tbsp, 80 calories, 6g fat, 7g carbs...
I usually only use 1 tbsp for a large salad that has been shaken!

I don't really pay attention to the calorie count as much as I do the sugar count...

I found this organic honey mustard salad dressing that I LOOOOVVVVEEEEE!!!!
I don't know the name off of the top of my head but it's super yummy. Salad dressing is kind of one of those "gimmes" for me. And I use the least amount possible.

Ken's light ceasar is amazing... I wouldnt really say its very ceasar like however its really good and it goes a long way

2 tablespoons is only 70 calories and I can make that work for a very large salad and for smaller ones I only have about a tablespoon... It has been the only salad dressing I have enjoyed since dieting

I really enjoy many from the Kraft fat free line. My favs are cesar italian or (I think it's) honey dijon. Both are amazing and offer totally different flavors.
