Susan, thank you for starting us off for March. Wow, it's St. Patrick's Day month. :)

Okay, I've got to get rid of the 2 pounds I've gained. I blame it all on closing for the townhouse. :dizzy:
I've got a dr. appt. on Tuesday. Ya think there's any way to shed those pounds before then? :o

Hi there! I tried to subscribe to this thread using thread tools but it kept rejecting my plea, so I'm subscribing by posting. I guess I've been missing out on the Thursday weigh-in threads!

March is a big month for me. My boy turns 3, I'll turn 35, and I love spring! I'm full of enthusiasm and confidence that I'll stay on track this month! I'm finally over the 3-month slump that started at Halloween and I've been losing weight the past few weeks, to officially be back on ONEderland!

Grr.. Marion, I think I found your weight loss this week. I was up 1.2 lbs. But it's all good. I think I know what things I was doing wrong & ready to fix those. I just hate having to lose the same 1.2 lbs over.

Yay! I was down 2.2 last night for a total of 31 pounds! My 35th birthday is next Thursday, so I'm going to really challenge myself to get to 35 pounds by then. I don't know if it's even possible but it would be so fun if I could do it! 35 by 35!

Yes Stephanie I know how you feel, sometimes you just need to change the routine up a bit. Recently I put a new routine into place and it seems to have switched my weight loss back on. (I stopped eating later in the evening). Even though my points are staying the same just switching them around a bit seems to have helped.

Welcome new losers, you are welcome to post here. We usually check in here once a week to post weight loss, but check daily to give each other encouragement. We originally weighed in on Thursday but now any day will do.

Down 1#:carrot: I'll take it! hahah! That makes me 227# - down 25#! I wish the trackers worked. Maybe I'll put a new one up from the Tracker Factory. I think that is the one Stephanie uses!

I had a rough weekend. DS turned 3 and there was lots of pizza and cake involved. Add that to my TOM and it was ugly. On the plus side, I tried to be smart and rather than having a healthy breakfast and following it up with leftover cake which was all I really wanted anyway, I went straight for the cake! That had to save me a few points at least.

I am still hoping for 35 by Thursday and if I knuckle down for the next 4 days it could still happen, but I'm not sure. :(

Amy, that did sound like a rough weekend. It is very important to have a good breakfast. Use your flex points for cake. :lol:

Well y'all, I'm really fighting discouragement tonight. I just got back from WI & was up 2 lbs. I don't know where I've went wrong. I'm staying within my points & sometimes have to use some of my 35 extra, but not often. I think I used a total of 10 this week plus I accrued AP, which wasn't used. I'm getting all my water in, all my veggies/fruits, healthy grain, lean protein, etc. This is the second consecutive week with a gain. Oh it's so disheartening! I'm not gonna give up. I'm gonna pick up & move on but right now I just need to vent because I KNOW I've worked hard this week but apparently my body just isn't recognizing it for whatever reason. Oh well...

Time to put my big girl panties on & deal with it. Thanks for letting me get it out. ;)

Stephanie it can be discouraging at times but you should still be losing. Take your tracker with you next week and talk to your leader something isn't right.
Check again how many points you should be eating. mine is at 29 right now
Measure your foods and weigh too. are you overestimating sizes?
Remembering to include the fats you are frying in, dressing etc.

Anyone else have any ideas??

Okay ladies, how is this for overreacting? I didn't gain 2 lbs. I gained 0.8 lbs this week. I had a number in my mind when I stepped on that scale that I WANTED to see, which, coincidentally was 2 lbs less than what I weighed in at. When I saw the number, my brain apparently registered it as a 2 lb gain. It wasn't until I was entering my number in eTools this morning that I really looked at it. All that crying for nothing. 0.8 lbs I can live with because TOM is getting close. 2 lbs really freaked me out.

Guess I learned my lesson. Get the FACTS before you overreact. LOL

That's great Stephanie, I knew something wasn't right there.

Down 3 for me this week. I am going to start weighing in on Thursdays again. My 6 month WW membership is almost up, and I am going to try sticking to points and accounting to y'all instead of going to the meetings (so expensive and they are always flogging their products). I may join Kim Benson's site as well (the lady that made the black bean brownies on Dr. Oz).

Hi! Down 1# this week. (which my ticker already reflects from when I posted my new one the other day)
I was down 2# yesterday morning, but.........we went to Joes Crab Shack for dinner last nght. I'm not convinced I gained a pound as much as I'm thinking I'm retaining a ton of water. I didn't eat that much and I didn't exceed my daily points. Oh well. I'm so thrilled with where I'm at that I can definately live with it!
NSV - bought a size 1X in my shirt yesterday and an XL in my jacket! Could get into a size 16 Dockers Capri - but.....was still a little "snugger" than I like!

Good job everyone that lost! I'm so proud to be part of this group! Have a great Sunday!

Well, I did not have a good weigh-in. I think I had a gain of 2 pounds. (I don't keep track of the exact number when it's a gain!) I think this is due to the weeklong-celebration of my boy's birthday coinciding with my TOM. Bad, bad combination. But on the positive side, I'm pretty sure most of that weight gain if not all was due to water retention.

I'm sick this week with a cold. Trying not to drink all my points in OJ.

Tina, that is funny about the horse comment. A friend and I have decided that we are going to go found us some cowboys. She brought me a cowboy boot with flowers in it tonight as part of our ongoing quest for those cowboys.

Tammy, you and your friend should've been down here the past few weeks. We've been having our Houston Rodeo.....plenty of cowboys (and would be cowboys) down here right now! :)

I forgot that yesterday was Thursday. Oops It's just as well because I have not been counting pounts. On moving day, my sister brought us a large box of donuts---a variety. Donuts----heavenly......I am not going to say how many I ate. :(

Okay, so I am new to this thread and website! Im on WW as sell and Have weigh ins on Thursdays! This is my 6th week. I lost 2.2 the first wk, (2nd weigh in) then gained 3 my second week in, then lost 5.6 lbs my fourth week on my fifth I stayed the same.Im hoping to have lost at least 2 pounds this week! But Im wanted to eat evrything! I love vegetables and soups and fruits, however They arnt very filling to me! ANy suggestions? HELP!
