Ok my friends,

Here's the scoop on Dad... since a week ago, he is down 47, yes I said 47 pounds. ALL FLUID!!! Monday, he was giving up... I had to have a little heart to heart and say "Seamus doesn't want you!!" Daddy said "I want to be with him." I again said "HE ISN't READY FOR YOU and doesnt' want you!!!! He says his momma needs you more right now!!!!" Dad said "OK, I'll fight. I love you baby" I guess I just had to give him a little talk. Then Tuesday, Mom and Dad decided for Dad to go on temporary dialysis to get some of the fluid off!!! He had a whole different attitude! Oh and he pulled his feeding tube out and refused for them to put it back in. So now he is drinking his protein drinks and is on a liquid diet! He has a little feist to him again. Let's see...... they put a trapeze bar in his room so he can help pull himself up some. He is doing that. Today, he told my mom to help him because he was going to walk. He hasn't done that yet and she didn't!!! So tomorrow, somebody better do something because he is ready to get moving!!!!!!

I finally feel better. I just started feeling better yesterday and today. I thought I would bounce right back.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was uneventful. It was nice. We let the dogs out to play some. It's suppose to rain tonight and tomorrow! I'm ready for spring.

Hapy March!:cp:

Well I sure am glad February is over and behind us! March is a bittersweet month for me..............
My mom lapsed in a coma on March 13 and died on March 17th! (1992) My Kaitlin was born March 24th and SPRING arrives this month! I used to be mean and bitter on St. Patricks Day when people wanted to "celebrate", but I'm over that! ;) In my job, I have to decorate for it, and, it is kinda hard to get a nice display when you are pissy about it. hahah!

Susan - Sounds like your dad is a fighter. So glad he is co-operating! Continued prayers!

Hey everyone else - I hope we have a wonderful month! Here's :hat:to a good OP day, week, month!

No snow in our forcast today!!!!!!!!!! (well a coating to an inch, but heck, thats nothing compared to what we are used too!!!!)

Susan - Glad to hear that your dad is doing well.

Things here are well. Justin and I have decided to finally stop saying we're going to do something about our weight. We're actually both getting serious and following WW's. As you know, I have struggled with staying OP, but I'm excited about doing this with him. I think knowing that I have someone who is right there with me will help loads. I'm also thinking it will be easier to stay OP since we're both doing it instead of just me. So here is hello to the beginning of the rest of my life.

Have a great day ladies.

Love this page.. I am starting off new ... again.. on WW (the at home version :) ). I lost 19 lbs on it last year well, September 2008 and have gained 25 back.. Stress is my worst enemy.

Susan, wow to your dad and 47 pounds! I remember when Bob was filled with fluids when he first got sick. He lost about 70 pounds over 3 weeks with some medicine they gave him to get rid of the fluids. I know I asked the doctor if I could have some. Ha. I wasn't the only winner on the bus, so I would have had others helping to buy donuts for the others. Glad to hear that you are starting to feel better.

Jeanne, March 17 isn't one of my favorite days either. That's when I fell in 2004, and all of my aches and pains started with the fibromyalgia. I hope all of the snow is behind us now. We had way too much this year.

Stephanie, the casino we went to was Grand Victoria in Rising Sun, IN. The others along the river are Hollywood (used to be Argosy) Casino and Belterra. I like Belterra the best, but it takes a while longer to get there.

Mimi, we had so many days to make up one year that we had to use up our spring break and add to the end of the school year. That was a long year!!

Maureen, good for you on doing the 20 flights of stairs! I could do it if it was escalators!!! Seriously, my left knee couldn't handle all of the steps.

Tina, are the painters there today? Hope it turns out the way you want! I'm sure you are super excited about getting in there.

Dori, that is great that you and Justin are going to do this together! It is so hard to do and having the extra support will help you, I'm sure.

Startiff, WELCOME to the group! Lots of support on here! Stress can definitely be an enemy.

Nikki, hope you are feeling better!!

My weekend was icky. Just not motivated to do a thing. It seems like lately I'm just so moody and cry so much. Tim and I sat and talked different times over the weekend about how much we miss Bob. I think with graduation and the wedding coming up, it is really making us realize how much we miss him. I hardly ate anything from Thursday to today. I gained 3 pounds. I'm laughing about it because it makes no sense to me. Not changing the tracker because I know once I eat "normal", it will go away. My body is just too weird for words. lol

Just thought I'd pop in for a sec. I have a HORRIBLE sinus infection & cannot even stand to sit up much less sit at the computer. Even though I do a lot of it. I need to get up off my tush & motivate myself but it's hard when I can't breathe. So frustrating!

Susan, so happy your dad is cooperating and working toward his recovery!

Hi Startiff! Welcome!

My hubby is starting WW on Wednesday. I'm so happy! He has a bad family history of diabetes & heart disease. He will be 37 this year and his health really concerns me. The year he turned 35, he was in the hospital for three days for chest pains. He actually had to have a stint because he had a small blockage. He vowed then to do something about his weight & he actually did - he gained about 50 lbs. I think he is seeing that I eat normally on WW, just less of it, and sees that I'm seeing results. Whatever motivates him. I'm just not ready to be a widow.

Well, I've rambled enough. And I know I didn't speak to everyone so I will now - Hi! Will check in tomorrow. Gotta get up & get some laundry in, if nothing else.

Stephanie and Dori, having your hubbies participate with you will REALLY help.
having that support there for you will be great and good motivation too.
Jeanne, you know your Mom wouldn't want to ruin a happy day for you if she had the choice. Did she celebrate St. Pat's day?
Susan, I'm glad your Dad is fighting hope he continues to go for it.
Star, Welcome!!
Tammy, you know that weight will come off probably a bunch of water weight too. Tim's wedding, graduation, a lot of stress for both of you.
Tina, hope the move has gone well. Check in when you can.

Hi
welcome startiff!!

Tammy, talking is good! I'm sure you have all kind of emotions with all that us going on. Watch for signs from Bob!!! I know you and Tim miss him a lot! Hugs!!!

Mimi, you honey are a wealth of knowledge!!! I am honored to be your friend!

Steph and Dori, I second that you are luckyy! My husband is thin and it makes it harder!

Today was NOT a good day for Daddy. He pulled his picc line out! Tomorrow they are putting in a permanent cath for dialysis, until he does need it. Hopefully they can use that as the picc. He was a little confused and ugly to poor Amy. I tried to console her from here. It broke my heart! Lu said he was calm tonight. Might be going back to rehab soon.

I have an upset stomach and intestinal tract. I think just stress. Oh my close friend is in ICU too. She had a colonoscopy on Wed and started bleeding last night! She gad to have 2. Units of blood. Should get out of ICU tomorrow. Her daughther is having a baby on Thursday in College Station so she needs to get out soon!

If I missed you, I'll write more tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers for Daddy !!! We need them!!

Hi all,
Yes, I do exist!!!

To our newest members--I'm Tina and am a "charter member" of these threads. Now, I have a brand new townhouse and am trying to get it ready to move in. :welcome:

The painters did a great job on the 3 rooms. The contractor is sending his people in today to repair the tile in the laundry room so we can bring in our washer and dryer.
New living and dining room furniture arrives on Saturday! :carrot:

Little by little, we're bringing over stuff from the apartment. I'm not sure when the real movers will do their thing.

I know I've missed a lot that's going on.
Susan, I'm so very sorry your dad is having his "moments." Please try to de-stress yourself. I know it's easier said than done.

I promise to come back and "talk" to each of you.

Maureen, I'm right there with you on starting week 3 over again and again! I feel the same way! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Well, I started off being good today but think I ate most of my flex points. I am weighing in on Friday at lunch. I thought I would sneak out and do it then. I'm hoping I'll be down some of what I gained last week!!!! I'm hoping it's just from the surgery.

I go to the doctor tomorrow for my check up. Hopefully I can start swimming again real soon.

Good Friday morning everybody! I hope the weather where you are is as gorgeous as it is here. It's still on the chilly side this morning but there is not a cloud in sight! :carrot:

I'm having problems with everyone's trackers except my own. I can see it but no one else's.

I was up 1.2 lbs this week but I think I know what I did wrong. I relied too much on diet soda and not enough water. Gonna pick up & move on. For whatever reason, my third week has always been the hardest & when I usually fall apart. Starting week 4 today.. or you could say, week 3 over with Maureen & Susan.

Have any of you used the Your Shape game for Wii? I tried it for the first time this morning & can tell you that Jenny McCarthy kicked my tail! I hadn't been able to figure out why I hear my daughter arguing with the game but boy, did I find out this morning. "She" is so critical! LOL

Have a great day all! Gonna try to get out & enjoy the sunshine this weekend. Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s!

Stephanie; I can see yours too. wonder whats up.
You know I always find the third week the hardest on any diet. That first week the weight seems to drop off then your body figures out by the end of the second week that something is up and puts the brakes on.
There is a very real biochemical reason for this but short of giving everyone a lecture on metabolism and your liver I'll pass on the lecture. Just know that if you stick to it and make sure you eat all the points you should on a daily basis your liver will kick start and start changing that fat back into usable energy for your body. Note I mean the daily points value not the 35 extra points you get every week. If you don't need those extra points don't use them but make sure you use the 35+ (or whatever your daily amount is) points everyday. I am using 30 points a day right now, and will be dropping down to 29 sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Good evening
I can see Stephanie's tracker too-no else's though-I've been pretty good this week-the weekend's here so keep your fingers crossed. I'm going out for breakfast with my brothers tomorrow morning so I'll have to do some juggling with my points. I find it hard because I'm only allowed 19 a day-they can go pretty darn fast
well have a great day tomorrow on program-weather here's supposed to be nice.

Hi all, I wrote a message on the announcement and question threads. Suzanne says one of the moderators has told the techs about it. Who knows when it will be fixed.
It's the 3fatchick tickers.

We get some of our furniture tomorrow. Yea! I'm so ready to move everything in.
My weight is out of control. I've gained a few pounds. I eat right for breakfast and snacks but have strange lunches and we eat out almost every night for supper. One of these days, I'll be back to cooking and having normal hours. :)

As my mother in law pointed out yesterday, I've already been through the hardest thing in life so I too will make it through this too. My in laws were here this weekend. I walked in the door on Friday, hugged her and burst into tears! What a greeting! They are wonderful! I'm glad they were here.

Good Monday Morning ladies!!!:coffee:

Susan - Thinking of you and continued prayers! Wish I could come and give you a hug in person! But this one will have to do !!!!!!!!!

Tina - Some exciting times for you!!! How are things going? I am soooo happy for you! I can't wait until Bob & I get to condo shop! A couple more years maybe!;) Can't wait to see your pictures!

Marion - Hi! How was your weekend? Whats new?

Tammy - enjoying our SUNSHINE?????

Nikki - what is new with you? How are you feeling????

Maureen - Was it you or Marion that mentioned the Maid of the Mist on FB? I have been on it many times! It is so fun! The kids loved it when they were little. We haven't been there in a couple of years.

Stephanie - Hope you are feeling better!

We went to my nephews 3rd birthday!!!! He is sooooooo sweet and funny and smart and......hahahhah, I'm not the proud aunt!!!! Anyways....I totally stayed OP there and passed on the cake and ice cream!!!!!

Well everyone have a great day!

Stay positive, drink your water and shake those bodies!!!!

Susan, Prayers definitely coming your way. How is your dad doing today?

Jeanne, :carrot: for staying OP at your nephew's party! I'm not sure that I could have. I would have had to have a little piece of cake anyway.

Tina, how is the move coming along? Did you get all your furniture in yet?

Nikki, where are you? How are you doing?

Maureen & Mimi... and anyone else I missed - did you have a good weekend?

The weather here was gorgeous this weekend! I think it's supposed to be pretty today & then the rain moves in tomorrow through early next week. :( At least it isn't the "s" word though. Hubby & I took advantage of the weather Saturday & went to test drive a Town & Country. They let us keep it through the weekend. We find out today what the payment will be a month. Hopefully it won't be out of our budget & we can get it. I absolutely LOVE it & so do the kids. Keep your fingers crossed for us. IF we are able to afford it, then I get my deposit back on the 15 passenger van mom rented for our ENTIRE FAMILY vacation to Florida. I can't imagine 12 hours in a 15 passenger van with my husband, kids, sister, brother in law, mom & her current ex-husband/live in/friend/whatever the heck he is.

Well, I guess I'll get out of here & get ready for work. I think I may actually be on time today - first day in many weeks! Have a great Monday!!!

Tina

Good morning,
It's raining here this morning. That's better than cold weather, I guess.
Susan, has anything changed?
Tammy, you are a quiet one. Did you go some place this weekend? maybe a casino???
Dori, how are you?
Nikki, are you still sleepy?
Marion, have things calmed down since the Olympics? I'll bet there are not more mittens any place.
Maureen, I'll bet your home is feeling more and more like "your home."
Jeanne, aren't little ones cute? My great niece is almost 5 months old. I wish we lived close so I could hold her.
Stephanie, wow, to the car! I hope it all works out.
Donna, where are you?

I know that I missed saying hi to someone. Please excuse me!

Here's a tease of photos.
It is our 1/2 bath. The mirror is enormous and beautiful.

Hi,

No change!!! Our family priest came by today and did the anointing of the sick. Daddy tried to do the sign of the cross but wasn't able to. I called and talked to him. He couldn't talk but he mumbled. I kept saying "Daddy, I love you! I'm coming home this weekend." I could make out the words "I love you, Baby" . He said it over and over again. Oh my gosh!! I love that man and idolize him!!!! I think I'm going to tell him next week, "Seamus is waiting on him when he is ready" even as hard as it will be.

Thanks for all the prayers!!!! We need them !!!

Hello everyone! Sorry for being missing in action. Tim and I left early last Friday and headed to Lafayette, IN, for the weekend. Lauren's family was having a wedding shower for her on Sunday. We went tux shopping, and I looked for a different dress for me for the wedding. I found one that I like better than the first one, and Tim said I look skinny in it! (yeah, right!) Anyway, we were on the go so much, that I crashed when we got home. I was so tired. I missed my class at the Y on Mon. and Tues. mornings. Just too tired. AND I'm leaving again in the morning. Another bus trip, this one to Michigan to a casino there. I guess there are lots of shops around, and I always like that. It's an overnight trip, so I'll be home on Thursday night.

Welcome to Startiff and Ladylulu!!

Stephanie and Dori, I think it is wonderful that your hubby's are doing WW with you. I could never get Bob to join me.

Stephanie, what's the scoop on the Town & Country? We have a Dodge Grand Caravan, and I know they are almost the same. I love mine.

Marion, I've had so many compliments on the mittens!

Jeanne and Nikki, hasn't it been nice weather?

Maureen, I chuckled when you said you started week 3 again. Wonder how many times I've done that.

Tina, good news about the painters and getting new furniture!!

Susan, I just don't know what to say except that I'll be continuing to keep all of you in prayers. I know how hard it is, and I know how close you are to your dad. Take care!!

I'm going home tomorrow! I'll go afterschool. I think I need to go give Daddy a pep talk of one kind or another. I had my sister tell him and she said "Dad, Susie is coming tomorrow, isn't that great?" He nodded yes!!! Just love my Daddy!!!

Pat had a long talk with me tonight. He is so logical and makes me calm. Guess opposites attract!!! :) He told me to go down there and enjoy mom and dad. Make dad happy because that's what I do for him. He said to watch because mom and dad are teaching us something!!!! Gosh, he is smart!!! He said just enjoy my time with them and come home at the end of spring break. He said "you never know, you might be what your dad needs? and we'll be playing this game again. And then maybe your visit will make him happy and then he can go in peace." Either way, I go with a peace in my heart! And an extra love for my husband for being so wonderful!

Good afternoon,
how is everyone doing this nice day?
We're finally having spring-like weather. Yea!

Last night, I fixed an old WW stand-by dinner. It was the beef and noodle bake. It's easy and makes 4 big servingsfor 5 points each. That, with a big salad and a 0 pt. veggie, is a great low point meal.
Of course, then we had low fat Betty Crocker brownies. Oops! I still need to figure up the points for that one.

The contractor is having our hardwood floors fixed today and tomorrow. There were some gouges to be filled and then another coat of polyurathane to put down. I can't go in there until Friday. That's okay since I have so many errands to run.

Stephanie, how is the car?

 We got the van! We signed the papers Tuesday. I love it. It's only a 2005 so it isn't new at all but it is so much nicer than what I had. It has Sirius XM, which I got addicted to really quickly. Love that 80s music! LOL It also has a DVD player which doesn't work because the CD player doesn't work. The dealership is going to replace the CD player but I'm afraid the XM won't be there. Have two preteens though so I guess the DVD player is more important then my 80s on 8. So anyway...

I'm going to run cause Survivor & American Idol are both on. Thank God for DVR! I'll come back & talk in a bit.

Hi everybody!!!

Tammy
03-11-2010, 09:32 PM
Susan, I knew I liked Pat!

Tina, your WW dinner + the brownies sounds yummy!!

Stephanie, I love my satellite radio too! Does yours have the stow and go seats? Those are fantastic if you do have them.

The bus trip was fun. We were in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. I came home with more than I took, so I was pleased. One woman in our group won over $800! She goes to casinos all the time, always wins, and gives 1/2 to her church.

Tina
03-11-2010, 11:03 PM
Hi,
Stephanie, congratulations on your van. That's wonderful.
Tammy, wow, that lady winning that much money. Good for her giving half to church.
I wonder how Susan is doing.
Mimi, what's up with you?
Maureen, when will it be warm enough for you to roller blade?
Jeanne, are you busy getting ready for St. Patrick's Day?
Dori, how are you and your husband doing on WW? Let us know!
Donna, where are you?
Nikki, are you still walking a lot?

I have a pulled muscle in my lower right back. Yuck!!!! Larry keeps telling me not to lift heavy things. Some day, I'll listen.

:flow1:

Tammy
03-12-2010, 11:12 AM
I'm also wondering how Susan is doing. Lots of prayers for her and her family.

Tina, don't lift heavy things!! Easier said than done, right? Sorry to hear you are hurting.

Well, I didn't make it to class this morning. I haven't been there the past couple of weeks with being gone some, not feeling well, and this morning I got up to fog. I couldn't see the building next door, so I knew it was bad. Schools were on delays, then some of them started canceling, so I thought I just needed to stay home.

Hello to everyone!

Sounds like everyones life has been busy, hope you all are enjoying the spring weather. I went out for a short walk yesterday the fresh air feels so good.

Hello everyone! Not too much new here! I'm sure many of you have heard about the PA woman that was attacked and mulled to death by a pack of wolves while running in Alaska! Well she is a very close friend of our family. SOoooooo, I have not been able to think of anything else!
I had a small loss this week. Official WI is Sunday, so we will see.

Have a good weekend. Talk more later!
*hugs*

Hey, I just noticed that our trackers are back!

Marion, I'm so sorry you've been sick. I don't think there's anything sicker than a sick tummy.
Tammy, we had fog the other morning. We don't have it often. I don't like driving in it, either.
Jeanne, I had not heard about the tragedy in Alaska. Wow, was she out in the wild?
Maureen, how are you doing?

Hello all.

Justin is doing really well on WW's while I seem to have fallen off the wagon and not worried about getting back on. Anyways.

Stephanie - Congrats on the van.

Mimi - Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. Hope you're back to normal soon.

Tina - Hope your back is a tad bit better now.

Jeanne - I haven't heard about the terrible accident in AK. Sorry for your loss.

I'm going to try to get back on the wagon and will keep you all updated.

Dori, You CAN do this, a little at a time. Do just one thing this week. Like, have a healthy evening snack. Do you like microwave popcorn? That's a fav of mine. Try that or something else healthy.

Remember, we are here for you.

In the middle of getting ready for church. Sunday School starts at 9:15, but there is no way we will be making it today. Church starts at 10:30 so we have plenty of time to get ready and get there on time. Don't have much planned for today so I'll see what happens. I may go to the school for a few hours because I have some paperwork that needs to get done or I may just leave it for tomorrow. Well enough rambling. Have a great day everyone.

Remember chicks, don't forget to start your clocks ahead. :)

It's raining here but hopefully that will get rid of the rest of all the dirty snow that's left. I'm not doing too much today-it's my mom's 82nd birthday so my sister and I will go over and see her.
Tina how's the condo coming along? are all your things over there now? put some pics on facebook so we can see it - it looks beautiful
Marion, Tammy, Dori,Susan and everyone else-have a good day and I'll be back later.

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great weekend! Mine is pretty good. Spent the day with Bob yesterday. Grocery Shopping. Clothes shopping. And dinner!!!!
Today I'm home alone. wooohooo! So nice! Till 3:00 anyways. Both kids spent the night with friends and aren't home yet. Bob is on dayturn. Then he goes back out midnight! :( Making meatloaf for dinner.
Went for a 2.25 mile power walk. I feel so good after that!!!!!

Have a great weekend ladies!

Good morning ladies! I have been slacking about coming over here to visit. I seriously need to change that. Coming here keeps me more accountable. Apparently, I need a LOT of accountability - hubby, mom, my kids - my daughter is like the weight loss police "no, mom, you can't have that.. you don't have enough points" "mom, remember? the beach?" "did you exercise yet today? Well, let's go for a walk anyway." LOL And she's only 11! Can you imagine what I'm going to have to deal with at 16?

Anyway, I'm way out of touch so I'll try to catch up.

Has anyone heard anything about Susan's dad? Where's Nikki gone to?

Tammy, our van does have stow & go. I like it but my daughter LOVES it! She is constantly folding the back seats in and then folding them out again. I don't think we have used the stow & go in the middle yet. She seems to have forgotten it was there. Since the middle seats recline, the kids are constantly fighting over who is going to sit in BACK. That has never happened before. I don't think they realize that the front passenger seat reclines as well.

Tina, I don't think I have posted this yet, but how is your back? Are you able to lift again yet? Don't overdo it!

Marion, I hope you are feeling better. There's an awful stomach bug going around here. I'm praying that none of us get it.

Dori, you can do this! I kinda fell off the wagon a little over the weekend but it wasn't too hard getting back on. I wish my husband was doing better with it. His problem is that he won't track what he is eating. He's making healthier choices and cutting down his portion size some, so that's a good thing I guess but he doesn't know how many points he is eating.

Jeanne, I can't wait until I can powerwalk again. Right now, I'm doing well to walk at a lesser pace. I know it will come but there are things I'm looking forward to that I didn't think I ever would... and powerwalking is one of them. LOL

Hi to everyone else!

Well ladies, now that I've had my two cups of coffee, worked out with Jillian (who is related to Satan, as far as I'm concerned... LOL), and had a ww blueberry muffin, I'm gonna rouse the daughter out of bed so she can get ready to go to the eye doctor & then on to school. Talk to y'all later! (Sooner this time than what I have been checking in.) Have a great day!

Thanks Marion (Mimi)--I'm sorry to be MIA right now.
It's soooooo crazy here, as anyone who recently moved will tell everyone.

We are still officially at the apartment. Although, the official move is in just a few days. We go back and forth taking things all the time.
I have been over there constantly with painters, repairmen and carpet installers.
My laptop is acting crazy and so I don't even take it with me.

Today, I've been working on income tax. Got to get that in.
We qualify for the home tax credit. HOWEVER, you have to include some records from the past 5 years of returns. I've been going crazy for the past hour as I tried to find all of the old papers. Finally I got them all in order.
Now, it's time for lunch. I'm going to use all of my 35 flex points and go to Wendy's.

I promise to get online more.

I hope Susan is doing okay.

Hello to everyone.

Hi,
Just a quick note. I'm hanging in there. Daddy is now on comfort care. This means no more blood draws, dialysis, etc. Only keep him comfortable! They are taking really good care of him. They took out the feeding tube today because his stomach and intestines are shutting down. They gave him some medicine to make him more comfortable. As if yesterday, he stopped talking. The doctor doesn't think it will be long, less than a week. Mom is doing good. She is strong!!!

Tammy - How have you been? Zumba? Water Aerobics? Did you say you got your dress for the wedding?

Tina - I'm still jealous! hahah! Just kidding. So darn happy and excited for you! Keep those pictures coming!

Nikki - Hope you are feeling well! Have you heard the babys heartbeat yet?

Stephanie & Chrissy - Hope you had a great weekend. Did you stay OP?

Maureen - Hi friend! I hope you had a great weekend and hows the weather? We have been blessed with beautiful sunshine and 68 degree weather.

Hi to anyone I may have missed!

Hectic week for me so I was surprised to see a loss! Visited Kaitlins College yesterday and that was fun! She will live at home because she is going to Communtiy College. She seems very very excited. She signed up for Volleyball and Softball. I'm not sure she will have time to invest in those sports. She will have an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Nursing, Dietician, Physical Therapist Assistant........any of those. But I think she is thinking an R.N.

Well I NEED COFFEE so I'm going to scoot! Have a great rest of the day and stay OP! Drink your water, eat your veggies and move your muscles!

We got our bedroom furniture and washer and dryer yesterday. It's coming to an end. Movers are Tuesday. YIKES! Maureen, I need you to come help me----you've just moved and could keep me calm.

Good morning, The move is done!!! There are still a few boxes in the apartment to carry in the car but everything else was delivered yesterday!
Something weird though. The headboard to our new bed stinks. Larry thinks it's the oil on it. The manager of the store is coming over today to do something---like take it away. We have another ordered. (Hope it doesn't smell, too.:o ) Last night, we had to spend our first night on the sleeper sofa in the other bedroom. That was not pleasant.
However, I'm so happy to be here.

Maureen, I will post pictures just as soon as I find my camera. :)
Also, congrats on that new car. :carrot: That's great!
I hope all are well.
I'll be back on later. I'm waiting for the furniture people and the cable guy.

Hello all. I haven't been feeling well since Sunday. Slept until 3:45 Sunday afternoon and was back in bed by 9. I told Justin that I just didn't feel like myself. Came in Monday from work at 5:30 and went straight to bed. I woke up Tuesday morning feeling like I had been hit by two Mack trucks. I stayed home from work and by Tuesday evening I knew why I wasn't feeling myself. Apparently the stomach bug wanted to come visit and is reeking havoc on me. I'm at work today due to having an IEP meeting this afternoon. I'm hoping I feel somewhat normal by tomorrow, but will wait to see what happens.

Tina - Congrats on being moved in. :carrot:

Maureen - Congrats on your new Rio.

We are looking at getting a new car because Justin's car stalled out in the middle of an intersection today. Thank the Lord it started back up before he got hit. Sorry for the rambling. Hope everyone has a great day.

We are off to see King Tut in Toronto on Tuesday and then our favourite restaurant afterwards and having our Easter dinner then.
Not much else going on I have been going with Dan in the car, he had a job interview last week in a town not too far from Niagara Falls about an hour and a half from here.
Hoping everyone has a nice Spring weekend, its nice to get out and walk.

Hi,
Jeanne, that cake sounded scrumpious.

I've found a way to lose weight---surgery! I had some on Tuesday. I continued to have a sore spot since my hernia surgery. The surgeon went in this week to find out why. There were some undisolved sutures in there. Tissue had grown around them. He says that's the only reason for the pain. He rmoved all of it. I'm home now and not a happy camper.
I hope everyone else is having a good week.
Happy Easter
