Welcome to the Red Team's Week 7 Chat Thread!

The results have been posted...and we didn't win. But I'm sure we are all going to kick it into high gear this week and pull out another win for the fabulous Red Team!

We had a few eliminations this week...
dstill88

ArmyWife02
benjsmama
Ms.Perception
LeslieLou
...as always, any eliminated player is more than welcome to continue in the challenge unofficially. If you would like to continue to track your weight unofficially, send me a PM and I'll reinstate your weighin post.

I am so glad I remembered to post yesterday!!!

However, we went out for sushi for valentines day. Here I am thinking how healthy that is....only to be up 2 POUNDS today. So frustrated. Want to cry. My body got down to 150 and now refuses to go any further.

I had to take a freebie this week since I was up .4 lbs. I guess that's what happens when you take a few days off! I am back on track and ready to go this week! Let's go red team, we need a win!

Candice- It's probably water weight, give it some time!

Well, being single, I had V-day dinner with my parents. My mom is so supportive though. We had filet mignon with grean beans and oven roasted potatoes. And for dessert she made parfaits with angle food cake, 1/2 fat strawberry ice cream, and fresh strawberries. It was a nice indulgence without going nuts on the calories! Oh, and she bought me WW chocolates instead of the bajillion calorie truffles.

Yeah, I'm out. Sorry girls! I can't keep up with stuff right now and so this thread was one of the things that fell by the wayside. I wish you all the very best and I'm sure I'll see some you over in the maintenance thread in no time! I've decided I'm happy with my weight and shouldn't stress over a few more pounds. Especially right now...maybe that will change once it's running season again. Thanks for the support! Love you girls!!!

I'm still here! My weight is not budging at all! I'm ready to kick it into high gear though. I only have four more months left here in South Korea before I go home for a 2 month vacation. I really want to make the next four months count so I'm ready to give it my all and then some. My mom went out and bought me the Biggest Loser workout dvd and the last chance workout dvd. Hoping to add those into my weekly exercise. I'll keep everyone posted. Posting here daily really helped keep me accountable in the 1st challenge, so I'm hoping to turn around this 2nd challenge.

Candice, alot of times when you eat anything with sodium, you'll gain up to 5 pounds of water weight! When you go back to your normal diet, the water weight will drop off. There is no way you ate 7000 extra calories of sushi to have gained 2 pounds!

Shan--I just wanted to say you are doing awesome! I hadn't noticed your ticker in a bit and I just saw it and can't believe how fast you are dropping weight. W2G!

Anywho, hiya ladies. Sorry I haven't been able to get in here and post more. I have been sticking with it diet wise though really the last week, so I was so excited when I lost those 7 pounds when I weighed in yesterday. I forget how much weight will actually come off if you really dedicate yourself instead of allowing a few cheats here and there like I have been. I really didn't think I was going to make it to my goal of 100 pounds lost in time for my tattoo on the 20th, but now I think I can pull it off!

Jessica - WTG on the 7 lb loss...that is awesome!

Shan - I have been curious how that biggest loser workout is, let us know if it's worth investing in

A good workout this morning, but my eating got off track a bit yesterday. No guilt, recriminations, and binge eating, just back on track today. Clean and nutritious...

Hi all. Sorry to see we lost, and lost some members as well. Good luck to all of you though.

Yesterday was a bad day for me nutrition wise. Mondays are always bad b/c I work 12 hr shifts on the weekends, and I'm just *tired* come Monday. But I'm back in the saddle today.

Chewysmom - here's to being back on the wagon!

Feeling good today, planning out my meals for the rest of the week, and doing some cooking to get myself there. Just made some tasty chicken, to use for salads and other meals. Ordered a couple of books to help me with my nutrition and working out, which should come in Thursday. One day at a time!!

I'm doing alright here in SK. Had a bad day at work yesterday, so I had the bf take me out for dinner instead of dinner at home. Didn't eat unhealthy food, but I did have alcohol. Plan for tonight was to go home to exercise and then make a nice chicken salad for dinner. Then, 30 minutes before work finishes, the big boss who never visits us on the island here, shows up and is taking all of us to dinner in 2 hours. So much for my chicken salad. I'll make it later tonight or in the morning and have it for lunch tomorrow.

I keep missing out on my exercise. Plus its TOM right now so that's keeping me a little down. I'm going to push through it though. I need a decent loss this week to prove to myself that I can do it and I am back on track.

Okay, we need to get this chat rolling...how about a discussion question?

What is your biggest obstacle for weight loss, and what are you doing do overcome it?

My biggest obstacles are the fact that I've made poor food choices for the past 15 years, so I'm having to unlearn that, and try to learn a new way of eating. Plus, I have fibromyalgia and RA, so exercise for me is *tough*.

I think my biggest obstacle is myself, since I have a lazy streak a mile wide I am trying to overcome that by exercising in the mornings, since if I'm already in the car when I finally wake up, I have less time to argue with myself about going to the gym. Also, I am competative, so I set myself out some events to race in this year.
