100 lb. Club - A New Sort Of Challenge. Who's Up For It?

Sometimes I look at these challenges, and they are daunting. I am all for exercise and healthy eating and accountability and making it to onederland, boy am I!

However, I am in a completely different spot in my weight loss journey.

This challenge will be more focused on planning healthy changes in our lives, and staying on those plans.

Everyone choose one thing to change in their diet/exercise routine. (I am weining myself off soda, for instance)

Every day we'll try to get into this thread to chat about our changes. At the end of each week, we'll mark how many days we stayed POP. At the end of the month, we'll post our weight loss! (by pounds, percentages, or inches, whichever you choose)

Anyone up for it?

This is exactly what I need!! This month I've been dealing with some heavy emotional challenges...and my healthy habits have taken a nose dive.

Being accountable for getting one thing at a time back on track will keep me from being overwhelmed.

My "thing" is giving up all foods that have sugar listed in the first 3 ingredients.

I'll post here tomorrow and state how today goes for me :)

Challenges scare me. For some reason I see them as setting myself up for failure. Do you mind if I lurk around for awhile? This is really intriguing me! Thank you.

I do the monthly points challenge and it works similarly for me. I can't control what the scale says (not directly, anyway) but I can control whether or not I say on plan with eating, activity and water. I really like having that accountability to myself and it gives me something to focus on besides the scale.

I think your challenge is going to be GREAT for you - I'll be reading and rooting you on!!

Lurking is fine!

I think I'm going to post how many ounces of diet soda I drink in one day, and how many ounces of regular soda. My goal is to end up with no ounces of soda at all!
