Lunch
Probiotic yogurt, carrots with edamame hummus, and half a whole wheat sandwich with turkey and roasted red peppers.

Dinner
Tofu, peas, onion, red pepper, broccoli, and mushrooms sauteed with a hint of soy sauce and (pineapple salsa, from Trader Joes). Served over quinoa.

Quinoa is a complete protein and oh so yummy.

Breakfast--2 scrambled eggs with a bit of cheddar and a turkey sausage patty
Lunch--leftover steak with grilled onions and green beans but I didn't eat the green beans because I made them too salty. Will double up on vegables tonight.
Dinner--roasted turkey (or chicken if the grocery is out of turkey), mashed cauliflower with cheese and zuccini/squash.

My husband is gone for 2 days & I'm working from home, so I'm planning a really hard-core couple of days

Breakfasts : eggs, fried or scrambled
Lunch : steak
Dinner : chicken breast

I'll also roast some zucchini & green beans, and make a big salad. And I'll make some kind of soup.

Going to drink a whole lot of herbal tea & water too of course.
