I had cereal with skim milk, which is what I have almost every morning for breakfast. I love cereal with milk, I could happily eat it 3 meals a day.

I'm a cereal lover, too! I've been eating the Special K Protein Plus, which I find quite filling.

I am in love with a whole grain frozen waffle with 1 TBSP natural peanut butter and a TABLESPOON of honey to cap it off. It's about 200 calories, sticks to my ribs, and feels like a total cheat, but fits my plan great. I also like oatmeal with honey. Hi, I am a honey addict. :D

1) This morning, I had a ww english muffin/130 with an egg/80 + a tbl lite chz/30 + 1 tsp ketchup/10 + a coffee/10 (with A/S) + a mini-clementine/30 = 290 cals.

I vary this each day with a coffee + ...

2) homemade Muesli/250 with skim milk/30 = 280 cals.

3) porridge mix/225 + skim milk/30 + 1 tsp brown sugar Splenda/15 = 270 cals. (I mix half & half oatmeal + natural cream of wheat). You can add a small toast with lf margarine for 345 cals.

4) a medium ww bagel/220 + tbl natural PB & tsp honey/120 = 340 cals.

I made egg white crustless quiche with lots of broccoli and fat free cheddar cheese on weekend (400 calorie total). I had 100 calories of that with cup of skim milk (90 cal). Very high protein breakfast that keeps me full for at least 3-4 hours.

I had:

1 slice of whole wheat bread with 1 tbsp of peanut butter
A cup of peppermint tea with 1 tsp Splenda
1 med. banana

for a total of 192 calories. I tend to "graze" all day while I am at work...maybe if I beef up breakfast a little I won't want to munch all day?

I usually have one of two breakfast options that I love depending on how I feel. One is a slice of whole wheat bread topped with an egg friend in pam spray. The other is 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1/2 cup maple nut oatmeal crisp, and 1 tsp Uro's 3-6-9 oil.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so I make sure to eat something that is nutritious and low on calories (Since I'm trying to lose some weight). I've been using Bistro MD diet meals and they send the food to my door. The breakfast items that they've been sending me are - Protein Bagel served with cream cheese, English muffin with a side of Turkey Sausage and Egg Whites, veggie sausage patty, Buckwheat Berry Pancakes served with a blueberry and strawberry compote and turkey sausage links. I have lost alot of weight with Bistro meals. They have a lot of variety, check out their menu if you're interested.

I had 1/2 cup of Quaker 1-minute Oatmeal (150 cal) made with 1 cup of 2% milk (130 cal) (wish I had skim, but that's what I get for sending the boyfriend to do the shopping!), topped with a banana (130 cal) and a dusting of light brown sugar (approx 100 cal)

Total- 510

Not the BEST (I like to stay around 300-400), but a) it is delicious! and b) really keeps me going all morning, and on into the day. I can eat a small lunch and still feel like the oatmeal is working for me! I cannot recommend enough - I have just recently discovered the beauty of the big Quaker cylinder and I am loving how I can customize it each day. Throw in some frozen fruit and it is warmed up and ready to eat in only a few minutes. Throw in fresh fruit. Maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, the possibilities are endless!

This morning I got to work and realized I had completely forgotten to eat breakfast! Luckily I had some money so I hit the vending machine. First I bought some poptarts thinking I would splurge a little since it is Friday. However, I looked at the back and there are 410 calories in poptarts! So then I went back to my purse and bought a Nature Valley granola bar which was 180 calories. I had some yogurt mid-morning too, but I was still starving for lunch.

Usually I have 1 serving of Eggbeaters with either toast with 1tsp reduced fat PB and 1tsp sugar free jelly. Or I will have dry cereal instead of toast. I eat at least 5-6 times a day so my meals tend to be small.

I tried out a recipe I found on here yesterday for High Protein Pancakes. It was delicious! And quick & easy ;-)

1/2 C oatmeal
1/2 C cottage cheese
3 egg whites
tsp of vanilla
dash of cinnamon

Mix it up and cook in pan for a couple minutes. The recipe said to blend it & that would probably make them smoother but my blender died :-(
I microwaved a cup of frozen blueberries and topped of the pancakes with them.

Thanks to whomever I got this one from - it'll be a regular at my house!

oatmeal cooked with almond butter, 1/2 banana - then add cinnomon and skim milk - depending on your proportions calories vary. Mine was about 250.

Tastes like oatmeal, banana nut bread.

So today was a bigger breakfast day for me...
2 corn tortillas (80) 2 eggs (140) scrambled with 1/4 c lowfat shredded cheese(80), 1 eating right strawberry yogurt (60) and 2 cuties (80) for a total of 440.

yesterday I had 2 eggs scrambled with 1/2 c broccoli and 1/2 serving lf cheese with a blueberry muffin (from a just add water mix) and 2 cuties

i also do homemade egg mcmuffins frequently- english muffin with 1/2 serving of lf cheese, an egg, 1 slice center cooked bacon. served with cuties and an eating right yogurt and you're right at 400 calories.

I keep most of my breakfasts at 400, for an 1800 total day.

A smoothie made with 1 banana, 2/3 cup lowfat strawberry yogurt and 1/2 cup skim milk. (300 calories) Put it in a travel coffee cup and seemed to fool myself into not wanting a caffinated coffee with 3 teaspoons sugar and 3 teaspoons flavored creamer!

The last couple mornings I had been having 2 nutrigrain waffles with a teaspoon of strawberry preserves on each one but that simply was not making it to lunch for me!

All in one pot:
1.5 c. water
1/2 c. of mixed oats oatmeal
1 banana chopped up and cooked with the oats
Flax seeds
chia seeds
16 grams of cashew butter

Weekends are my "high calorie" oatmeal bowls, and this one was 430. My weekday oatmeal bowls are 1 apple and 1/2 c. oatmeal, made with spiced tea, and run about 215 calories.

3/4 cup (39 g.) Kashi Go Lean cereal- 100
1/3 cup vanilla soy milk- 35
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries-50
24 oz. black coffee w/ sprinkling cinnamon-10

Total: 195, but I usually round in 5-kcal increments, so 200

Some people swear by light vanilla soy milk, but I think the extra 20 kcals per 1 cup serving are worth it, I just have a bit less.

Whoops, I calculated wrong, 39 g. Kashi Go Lean is 110, not 100. No need to round after all! 210 then. I also just bought the Thomas's bagel thins that are only 110 calories each. I made my room mate try one because I've already had breakfast, and she said they're excellent. Nice and chewy!

Today I had a large bowl of cheerios (200) and a blueberry fiber muffin (130). I top all that off with coffee and water and I'm set until a late lunch! Fiber is the key when you are counting calories because it helps to keep you feeling full for longer...a little more bang for your buck! Coffee is definitely one of my favorite diet tools too!

I have the same breakfast every morning, I just change the fruits. 1/2 c. of bran flakes w/ f.f milk and mixed berries, five servings of a variety of fruit. It's the biggest meal of the day for me and I look forward to it every morning. Never gets boring for me. 480 to 500 cal.

I've been having 2 pieces of whole-grain bread with butter and jam (~350 cal) during the week.

Today was a smoothie with blueberries, yogurt, honey, and milk.

I also always have 2 cups of coffee with 1% milk.

I love the curried vegetables and the squash hashbrowns! Great ways to get vegetables in for breakfast.

I know I *should* eat a higher protein breakfast. If I have regular cereal, breakfast, and if I eat too much, I'm *RAVENOUS* two hours later.

I have class at 8:00 am every morning, and leave at 6:15 am, so I'm always on the go!

I often have:
-Oatmeal and Liberte Yogurt, which has 7g protein per serving
-Fresh fruit mixtures
- hard boiled egg or ham on toast
-Raisin Bread with pureed cottage cheese spread on it. Yum!

Total: 372

Or: (no coffee)
1/3 cup+ 2 Tb steel cut oats 250
1 cup 1 % milk 100

Total: 390

Or:
Sushi

Hi everyone!

I'm a cereal girl through and through.
I've tried eggs for breakfast (which isn't traditional here) and it didn't agree with me at all.
So now I stick to Nestle Fitness Honey and Almonds with skim milk which is around 200 cal. I usually have a piece of fruit a couple of hours later, though.
