Peach the picture ofyou fondeling the fabric is almost as good of all of us in a cheereleading outfit. :lol: Glad you regained control over yourself before you bought!! I do not think i could have lived financially through 4 hours of waly world. I am sorry your battery blew up. I hope it did not do much damage. that can be quite dangerous.

Pooky i do not need anything to make me bi##hy. just to be alive!! Actually i am very happy especially working. i just need DH to make me that way! I know what you mean about the friends. too many fo my friends here are just face friends. I can not rely on them and if I do not call them they do not call me back. I can honestly say that only one is a true friend. i have no time for anyone who will not accept me, It is a hard thing to think you have no friends, but in this case quality is better than quanity, and with the internet these days i feel that i have good quality on my few friends that i have, and many of them i have never even met.

Jiff and leens. I can not even see a puter at work so ... i am on my feet running all the time. getting to hug and cuddle the old ladies and old men. They are soooo cute!!! so no puter but lots of hugs and fun!!!

Ruth. they encourage dogs here to visit. and kids too. i was thinking of you when i saw a nicely behaved poodle trotting down the hall lastnight. very cute and well groomed. I hope you get that fair stuff done and all the stuff turned over. you shuld be training the next person to do that as they need to learn or they will be relying on you next year to train that person.

dottie. I can certainly understand how stressful it is for you. I get the pleasure of going home, and as i am not family i do not get the worry and stress of them being on their own. (I work in the rehab section of the NH) I will keep you in my thoughts for her recovery.

Barb glad to see that alvin is getting on the mend. slowly get things moving do not push but do not let him get to lazy eigher. taking him to work just may be what he needs to get his juices flowing to move around more as he is able. how much more weight has he lost??? how are his kidneys going???

DH is in the dog house again. he hung up on me. i swear that he is more childish than the kids. he throws more temper tantrums. but anyways I have had it. I swear i am going to take that very cute italian muscle bound man up on his bike ride some time soon!! Atleast i can kick him to the side if he acts childish. and i do not have to live with him. but atlass my consious would not allow me to do that. Dam me for being so honest and straight forward!!! so that is why i am up so early. i can not sleep when dh acts like this. so i am off to make another pot of coffee. so there will be plenty for all of us!!

peach, the thought of you fingering the fabric sent me into a roar of laughter. Your poor hubby! I have been trying all week to get to Garden Ridge to spend some money (on things to beautify my house) I know my husband will pass out half a world away in England if I pull out the plastic. The thump heard around the world is my husband hitting the floor as wifey pays with the credit card. :rolleyes:

Boy has it been hot down here. I sat at the band practice last night from 5 until 8 and we never did get any releif from the humidity, it was so thick you could cut it with a knife. We sat under the parents tent, the poor kids were out on the field.

My breakfast with friends was wonderful yesterday, we sat at the IHOP for 3 hours talking. Never did make it to the grocery store, so today I must go.

Dear little princess finally went into school by herself today, I was noticing I was the ONLY parent still going in. Hmmmm. She fought me on it, but her cousin went in with her and all was well. What a little grown up she is becoming!!

The flood is temporarily on hold. I feel sure it is from the cheerleaders and the good thoughts you all are sending my way. Thanks so much for caring!!

Well, gotta go see if the laundry is dry yet. So far it's been in the dryer for 50 minutes last night, then 30 more this a.m. We are a little damp still. Sigh, I think it's time for some new machinery around here! Where is a man when you need him to fix something????

Not much Whining from me today. All is peaceful on the home front today. Still angry at myself for not being able to get up early enough to go to the Y, maybe tonight after work.

Annie, Are you back at school today. Hope all goes well for you. I had a PTO meeting at our school yesterday, it was so nice to be back and see so many of the teachers. Best of luck!

A misty morning in the meadow! The Girls are being nasty with each other (do dogs PMS?) so I kept them separate for a bit. Hershey and I walked the meadow and checked out the neighbour's stand of corn - no raccoons have hit on it yet so it isn't ready. I'll have to carefully plan my CALP reward meal because fresh corn is so irresistible!

Cheerleaders in Pooky's bedroom? We should never have said that! I hope we don't ruin any intimate moments and jinx the baby making.

Leenie, why the heck are you getting coloured contacts? Your blue eyes are just gorgeous.

Sue, it sounds like life is going well for you, Money IS important! Your DH needs a swift boot, IMHO. Don't let him crap up your life.

Goodforme, I bought a dryer once for $50. The woman said it worked but took ages to dry. Ahem! She had never cleaned the lint filter and the stuff in there was like felt. Now I'm not suggesting that is the problem with yours. I hate that smell laundry gets when it was not dried quite enough.

DonDar, I wish you a peaceful day and don't beat yourself up over not going to exercise. You are in good company.

Debkay, a 3 hour breakfast with friends is much more important than grocery shopping! Shopping will always happen but friends are not always there.

Samsgram, are you still on the lookout for a Portie? One of Hershey's pups was "returned" when the guy claimed he bothered his allergies. Potter is going to another pet home this week but I did think of you. Yes, Potter as in Harry Potter. We called him Mickey when he was here because he has white paws like M. Mouse.

Major financial and banking stuff on the schedule for today. The Association is in the hole and we need to do some bridge financing. We did not lose money on the Fair but there have been too many other unplanned expenses which were not Board approved for various reasons. Oh well, I'm outta there after the Annual Meeting in early November.

I'm going out to pull a few weeds and pick some tomatoes. We are out of salsa so......

Alvin's nurse got here at 7:30 AM this morning. And she's small and perky I was just pulling my fat butt out of bed and didn't have time to make the coffee.

She's already finished and out of here. I guess I really have become a morning slug. And to think that just a little over a year ago I was up and at the health club by 6:00:dizzy: How soon we forget...

Alvin has a doctor appointment today. Maybe he'll take out his feeding tube so I don't have to remember to flush it 4 times a day.

I think I ready to go back to work, and try to get my life back to some degree or normalancy (Is that a word?) There is so much I could be doing if I felt like it while I'm home babysitting Alvin, but what do I do? nothing I just sit here in my recliner with my leg up. I think I need an A**chewing I KNOW how lucky I am that Alvin's doing so good. I KNOW I have so much to be thankful for. I KNOW i shouldn't be just sitting here in a bluefunk feeling sorry for myself. The question I have is If I'm so smart and KNOW so much, why can't I manage to FEEL that way???

The fact is, you've had a heck of a time the last few months - now stop beating yourself up, relax and remember : baby steps! Or, as my late father used to say "slow and steady wins the race"... so just take it easy... it all comes together with time (now, if I could/would only listen to myself! :o )

Just a quickie today (pun intended!) since I have to run and pick up a prescription, unload the groceries and pick up Miree from daycare.

No, I think the cheerleaders don't scare me, just the group of people dressed up like Big Bird with knitting needles surrounding my bed! :lol:
