ok..could not stand it. I had to have a dill pickle today. I know that is not on the program but it is zero calories....I know it is full of sodium, but will it affect my weigh loss?? Thanks in advance....

A pickle is just a really salty cucumber, isn't it????
Don't stress over it too much

Pickles used to be one of my favorite snacky foods, granted I'd eat two or three rather than just one. But yeah, as said - I think if you just drink a lot of water you should be good.

And your counselors freak when you cheat? Mine are understanding and then want to know why I broke down and ate off plan and help me figure out how to avoid it. They're totally understanding.

I am planing on cheating today... it's my birthday and I'm going to enjoy it. I'm going out for either wings or pizza today, or **** maybe both! I feel I've earned it. I just need to go right back OP tomorrow.

I didn't realize pickles were a cheat, I've eaten then on a couple occassions this week...to hold me over while I was cooking dinner...I've had a weight loss. I have also been drinking tons of water. Don't beat yourself up. As long as it wasn't a trigger food you'll be fine.

Have fun! I think that planned cheats are okay every once in a while, what ever you do don't beat yourself up about it and get back on program for your next meal. Oh, and drink tons of water and maybe a little extra exercise.

yeah a pickle is FINE. i don't know what your counselor considers cheating but so long as you write it down and be honest about it...a pickle can do no harm. mm a cucumber salad sounds good right now!

just drink extra water to flush out the sodium and you'll be fine

I'm looking forward to St. Patrick's Day when I cheat with corned beef and beer (cabbage is OP lol). I'll be drinking TONS of water to help with all the sodium in corned beef!

I cheated this weekend but I had parmesan risotto with shrimp, tomato confit, and shaved truffles. I also had calamari, brie cheese with awesome bread, and 2 glasses of an excellent pinot noir. Totally worth it!
