Default End of first week

Today is my eighth day. When I weighed in, I lost 2 pounds. While I would have liked to lose more, I'll take it.

I didn't cheat one time as far as sweets or bread and I stuck to the outline of meals pretty close.

I know my problem is that to me, the 3 best things about the plan are the nuts, cheese, and FF milk w/ splenda and unsweetened cocoa power. I definitely enjoy more than 1 serving of nuts and sometimes as much as 2-2.5 oz of cheese... I think I have to work on taming the nut cravings and I'll be much happier next week with my weigh-in. (It doesn't hurt that I ate the ast serving of almonds that I had, last night.)

Awesome job! I found I can't buy my favorite cheese... I would eat too much. I am less likely to overeat the not-so-tasty stuff.

Princesque! Even more important than the weight loss, do you feel your cravings have lessened?

As for the nuts, you have to decide if they are a safe option for you to have in the house. You may find that you can't have them around right now, but can add them back in later. Or you may find that you need to pre-portion them in little containers so you don't overeat them. The number one problem people have losing weight in Phase 1, at least here at 3FC, is eating too many nuts. They have wicked amounts of calories, so you need to stick to no more than one serving a day, 'kay?

Congrats!!!!! It's funny that you mention nuts, cheese and ff milk that helped you through. I can remember beans were my best friend for the first two weeks.

My cravings have been present for 2 days so I was beginning to wonder if this was working, because for the first 6 days I didn't really crave anything... but after my 2 lb loss today, my TOM began. So hopefully that is causing both the cravings and the small week 1 loss and I will make up for it next week.

Earlier I was driving home from school and I just wanted to stop at Wendy's or Subway sooooooo badly.. but I remembered I had a steak in the fridge so I am going to enjoy my 3-4 oz of steak with my 2 cups of veggies.
