Default Ceaser Salad Dressing

Hi there,, a newbie for posting, but have been lurking the past little while.

I am in dire need of a recipe for Caesar Salad Dressing, with the Weight Watcher points or the nutritional value so that I can calculate these.

Really hoping that I can find one that tastes as great as the original.

Thanks for your help.

Post Hi there!

Out surfing this site and saw your Q.
In my Simply the Best WW cookbook I found this version.
Enjoy!
Lemon Caesar Salad- Serves 6
1/2 t. grated lemon zest
1 1/2 T. fresh lemon juice
1 large garlic clove
1 t. white wine worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. Dijon mustard
1/2 t. anchovy paste
2 T. extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
7 cups torn romaine lettuce
One 14 oz. can artichoke hearts, drained, rinsed & halved
2 oz. piece parmesan cheese
18 melba round toasts broken into bite size pieces

In blender or food processor, puree the lemon zest, lemon juice,
garlic, worcester sauce, mustard, & anchovy paste. With the
motor running, slowly add the olive oil(the mix will thicken slightly)
Add the yogurt, puree until just smooth, about 10 seconds.

Place the lettuce & artichoke hearts in a large salad bowl.
Add the dressing & toss to coat. Using a vegetable peeler,
shave the parm. into curls; top w/the cheese and the toasts.

some of those ingredients sound hard to find! Another ww book i have has TOFU probably in place of that yogurt! and that sounds worse! (let me know if you want it anyway) So maybe experiment from this and find your own mix! Good luck to you on this new journey. I first joined ww about 1 yr. ago. Lost 39# on it. I do it on my own now, only 7# from the goal wt. i had set with them. I am mostly working on getting a routine of exercise going to firm up! I have gone from about a size 18 to a size 8 jean again! SOOO good to be back in shape and able to do more.
