I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!

Rember I said that I took a preganancy test last night and it came back negative?? Well, the kind of test I got I can check it again in 24 hours since the test doesn't change (to tell someone) and lo and behold, there was a tiny little line there!!! I RAN to the doctor as fast as I could and begged him to tell me I wasn't crazy! He said, a line is a line and tested me again with another urine test in the office. It didn't show up so he sent me for blood work. I get the results today at 4. So I'm literally "just" pregnant. Oh wow!! I'm soooooo happy!!!!!!

OH POOKY! WOW!!!!
I know how much you've wanted this so I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that it's really true. Hurry up and give us the good word though. It's kind of cramping my typing fingers. :lol:

OK here's the update:

Got my blood test results back they were negative. BUT I spoke to my doc and he said that the blood test probably didn't work becasue it is too soon. Blood tests only work if there is 25 micrograms of pregnancy hormone in my blood, and that usually occurs around 10-12 days past ovulation. So I may not even be registering enough yet! He said since I had a positive urine test and a negative blood test, he wants to retest next week. I told him I already have an appointment with my obgyn so that's when I'll retest. Until then, cross all your fingers and toes for me and send me vibes for positivity!!!!!! :)

Oh my....took another pregnacy test this morning and this time it showed negative. I was on my other website for fertility issues support and there were several responses asking why this happens and basically, the test showed a false positive. If I really were pg, then the line would have been there and gotten darker as preg hormones double every day in your body. Sigh...sorry for all the excitement, I really thought I hit it lucky too. I'll still take it up with my obgyn but I'm not holding out hope. Another month, another round of meds I go.....:(:^:

i have heard of false negitive, but never false positive. Hard to do but wait a few more days and try again...I am still crossing everything for you.

just a little more patience, pooky. false negs are more common than false positives, and it's still very very very early to tell.

but no matter what, it looks like this will definitely happen, and sooner rather than later. so the crafty ladies had better get busy. but peachie, i HATE to paint!!!!

Really? I just don't know what to think anymore. I let the test I took this morning sit all day just in case and still no line. I swear, this doc's appointment can't come fast enough, I think I'm going to be squirrely before this is over!

Now...when I really am confirmed el prego, I am TOTALLY jazzed about you all hitching up here to have a big ole swank affair, say in Toronto? Some fabo restaurants there :) I can just see us all now, all my 3fc sisters en masse in a hotel!! At least we'll give the bell boys a run for their money!! :lol:

jiff, you can twist, tie, glue or perhaps screw...depending on your mood of course!!!! It doesn't HAVE to be paint....and HEY! You do some pretty nice needle work!!!!
