I went without any caffine or sugar for 2 weeks and wow, my sweet tooth is gone. Before this I was having like 10 cups of coffee a day with cream and always 2 sugars (Truvia). Yesterday, I had a cup of coffee for the first time, without any kind of sweetner in it and I really though it was sweet enough with just the cream it. I also have baked goods in the house all the time for DH. At first it was hard, now I dont even give them a second thought. I really think the 2 week rule without and kind of sugar works.

This will happen with salt too. I stopped using all salt in December, and thought the food tasted very bland without salt, but after several no-salt weeks, the food tastes really good to me-- though it might be bland to others.

Yeah!!! I've greatly reduced my sugars, but still put a little in my tea. I've been using stevia more and more. I'm glad to hear that your sweet tooth is gone after only 2 weeks.
