Mini-Goals - Not a "goal", really, but a "win" just the same

I started started WW 4 days ago. At the same time I cut out all sweets/junk food (necessary for me to jump start... I have zero will power if that stuff's in the house) and the diet pop I was always drinking. I started carrying a water bottle with me everywhere. I've started moving more.

I have always had the most awful skin. I've struggled with acne and oily skin my entire adult life. Since starting this diet just 4 days ago, I suddenly this morning noticed how much nicer my skin looks! The redness is all but gone, it doesn't seem so shiny (oily) and my acne is clearing up! There are some areas, like on my forehead, that are clear of acne for the first time in literally years!

I don't know if it's the excercise, the diet, the water... whatever it is, I'm just thrilled. This is a wonderful side effect I never expected :carrot:

I was always told that lots of sweets and not a lot of water can lead to acne, but I don't really know for sure. That's just something I've heard from my mother.

That's really amazing though. If you can see that much of a difference after 4 days, imagine how amazing it will be after 2 weeks, 2 months, even a year! I bet it feels great, and congrats!

It 's always great to get a nice surprise - the changes you've made are evidently agreeing with you.

Maybe that's Mother Nature's way of motivating us to eat right with something more than just weight loss and feeling better - I know I need a reward that's a little more obvious and appeals to my vanity!

Keep up the good work - I'm sure there'll be many more nice surprises in your future!
