Default How do you motivate once you fall off?

Ever since my dh tempted and bought my Johnny Carinos dinner, I have been having snack here and there. Ugh I hate it. How do you get back on, once you mess up?

You get back up and take it meal by meal. In my case there's a bit of a mental psyching out that I have to work through....something like.....yea you've lost weight before and gained it back....or yea you've started diets before and then quit.......or oh what's the use....This time I'm doing my best to look at it as lifestyle change---food for fuel with goal to add in some extras from time to time once I get the fat off but in a more "thoughtful way" versus mindless as in the past.....and that I CAN persevere.

AMEN to this thread. I fell off awhile ago. I have been watching what I eat and maintaing my weight, but not on plan, therefore not losing. I really want to get back on, but am SO tempted by everything right now. Any ideas?

Body scan pics...yikes! My husband is a doctor and hates having to operate on obese people. You have to cut through layers and layers of fat to get to the internal organs...it's like chicken fat, just gobs and gobs of it! The instruments get all greasy. One of my mental motivators is the 10lb log of fat my center has. I've been wanting to order one for myself and plop it on the kitchen counter.

I just printed out this picture and will post it on my refrigerator! What a motivator to get the last 20 or so pounds off!!!
