Momentum / Flex - Momentum/Flex Chatterbox [Jan 2010] :)

01-07-2010, 12:04 PM
I noticed that GivTLC started interest in a weekly chat back in October '09, but I haven't noticed a thread. Maybe I missed it?

Ah well, I've created this one for support and encouragement for all of our Ladies and Guys who have taken up the journey for a new and healthier us. And I give all credit to Giv for the thread idea, :D

Welcome, and Happy New Year! ;)

Hm, to start us off...
Anyone want to share some of their goals or accomplishments?
Recent events that made you want to jump up and do a happy dance? :carrot:

Well, hugs to you all,,

01-08-2010, 04:02 PM
Well, another 30 minutes before I'm off work for the day. :D

My goal for the weekend, walk two hours before I return to work Monday morning.

This is a rather quiet subforum.

Best of luck,

01-08-2010, 04:16 PM
You'd think it'd be more active since a lot of people use WW

I'm planning on trying the 30 Day Shred video today, I'm sure it will kick my butt. I've also convinced my brother to join WW :D

01-08-2010, 10:23 PM
I'm joining karate on the 18th..the delay is because that is when it starts, not because of me ;-)

01-11-2010, 12:59 PM
I did it, :D. Went to the mall Saturday with my sister, we were up and walking for just under three hours before we walked around walmart and then Sams club. Only spent money on gloves for work and lunch and dinner (within my points). Then on Sunday I earned 35 minutes on the Wii fit with my mother.

ibcnuldu, converted another to WW, huh? ;)
How was your video? Did you manage to get to it?

Snakewhissperer, awesome! I'm not brave enough to attempt something like that myself, :o, sounds like fun!

01-12-2010, 03:23 AM
Accomplishment: I've been on plan on my own about 4 weeks now and have lost about 5lbs. It's a good start for me, and I'll be officially joining a WW at Work meeting on Thursday.

Goal: Get in more exercise, especially weights. I've been working my butt off (literally, lol :-) on the treadmill, but I need to pump some iron so that I don't lose too much muscle. I don't want to just get smaller -- I want to lose fat and keep as much muscle as I can!

01-12-2010, 05:41 AM
Oh, I am glad to find this thread. I have been on WW for 5 weeks now, and losing very slowly, but I am happy with my progress. The slowness of the loss is my own fault, not the program.

My goals for the week are doing yoga 3 mornings before work, walking every day at lunch, and NO diet cokes before class (or any other time for that matter!)

If I lose .4 this week at weigh in I get my 5lb star AND am in a new decade!

01-12-2010, 10:55 AM
SissieSue, awesome! Where do you think you start with the weights? I think I need to start that up myself as well. I could use a few ideas, :D

Julie131, I thought soda would be a hard thing to give up myself. But trying to get in all my water has seemed to distract me from it, and keeping sweet fruits easily accessable has really helped with the sugar cravings. Like tart green apples. I'm cheering you on for that 5 lb star! :carrot:

01-12-2010, 04:12 PM
I would love to join the conversation. I started WW again yesterday. I have done WW in the past being very successful. Last year proved to be a very challenging year for me....I lost my father to cancer, had a medical scare myself, my only child went away to college.:( I will stop there because the pity party is over. Now is the time for me to take care of me.

I am determined to drop the weight and would love to have others to keep me focused and on track.;)

01-12-2010, 08:00 PM
Glad to have you, Donnalynn! :carrot:

Well, I don't know about you ladies, but I'm heading out the door to get some walking done. Finished my grocery shopping, measured and put everything away, and now I'm off!

Let's see if I can brave the cold for at least an hour, :brr:
Well, cold for florida that is... :D

 Can't wait to hear how you guys are doing!

Well, 30 Minutes will have to do tonight, I seemed to have pissed off a pair of black ankle-biters (it's a loving term, really!). And encouraging their barking at nearly 8pm is a bad idea with retired ladies and gents around (not to mention the few that still work days like me!).
Ah well. Goal half-accomplished.

01-12-2010, 09:48 PM
Well zanheltangia, I hope your walk was good and you didn't freeze your arse off! Or maybe I should hope you did! LOL!

Everyone else:wave: I am looking forward to sharing our trials and tribulations.

Well, my diet coke wagon didn't last long. :( I will try again tomorrow.

I did ok today aside from the coke setback. I did Yoga this morning, walked at lunch. My eating has been OP and life is good. Treadmill tomorrow morning for 45 minutes.

Everyone else?

01-13-2010, 02:40 AM
Hope everyone is doing well :)

I lost about a pound and a half last week. I've been super busy lately with work and school, but I'm still staying on track!

01-13-2010, 03:17 AM
SissieSue, awesome! Where do you think you start with the weights? I think I need to start that up myself as well. I could use a few ideas, :D

I'll probably start with mostly upper-body weights because I'm vain and want killer shoulders :dizzy: I think I'm going to stick with the basics and use free weights instead of the machines. I can never get the machines to work quite right, but with weights, I just have to lift them. I have a long-term goal of being able to bench press whatever my body weight is . . . but right now I can only do about 40lbs! :( I'll keep on trying, though!

I found some great ideas on the Body for Life website. Those folks who do that program really strive to get toned, and there are worksheets available for free that give great upper-body and lower-body weight workouts. There are even some videos that demonstrate the moves.

Good luck, zanheltangia, with your weight-lifting adventures! :D

01-13-2010, 08:43 AM
Good Morning Ladies,
So glad to have folks to talk to. I see that most of you have exercise goals so I will start by sharing mine. I am committed to doing strength training at least 4 days/wk and cardio 5 days/wk. I know it's just Wednesday but so far so good.

It's been very cold and snowy in TN for almost a month now so walking must be done inside....can't wait for sunshine.

I wish a wonderful Wednesday to all!:carrot:

01-13-2010, 03:16 PM
Hey all! Glad to see everyone is motivated!

I did my treadmill workout this morning. It is 45 minutes and really a challenge. If anybody wants it I would be happy to forward it. Going for a run after work because it is absolutely beautiful outside for a change.

Take care all,

01-13-2010, 04:35 PM
I've got WI in a few hours, a bit more nervous about it this time than my first one. I kept on plan, but with all the visitors and with coworkers leaving and having their good-bye luncheons, these visits to restaurants are making me uneasy. That and I picked up some WW frozen items. If my WI disappoints me, I'll definitely return quite strictly to my raw veggies that was the major food I ate in my first week. ;)

I'd have to say that my key accomplishment yesterday was avoiding the heavier Irish foods at the pub my coworkers picked. I was extremely lucky to find a turkey burger without bun hidden on the menu with a side of two red potatoes and some rather over cooked brocolli. I guess a regular to the place was diabetic and had other issues so the pub created a multi-choice plate just for him. Nice of them. :D Saved my bum as well, hehe.

My walk was nice, though I need a thicker jacket, :brr: though that had me walk faster, so maybe not. :D

Yay, ibcnuldu! That's great!

Eek! Got to run. Work's out - will continue post tonight! :dizzy:

01-14-2010, 10:12 AM
I would love to see your treadmill workout. I could use a change.

01-14-2010, 10:33 AM
Happy Thursday!

Wow, SissieSue, nice goal! I just love free workout information! Thanks!

Good to hear, donnalynn! I bet it must be a bit difficult to change it up when you're trapped indoors because of snow.

Have fun, Julie!

I need to get my butt outdoors and walk tonight. I managed a half hour the last time, so I'll try 45 minutes. Maybe I can creep past the dogs this time...

01-14-2010, 11:18 AM
Zanheltangia...looks like your second weigh-in went good...congrats!

01-14-2010, 07:35 PM
hello all! I started WW for the first time yesterday, so far so good. a couple classmates and I are committing to an hour exercise class at our school gym and today was one of them, and I am sore!!

01-15-2010, 11:08 AM
Thanks, donnalynn!
I'm hoping to break my 10 lbs goal this week; I really need some new sneakers to help keep me motivated, exercise-wise!

I slacked off and never made that 45 minute walk like I wanted to. But exercise has never been a favorite of mine, changing how I eat is like breathing compared to it. Ah, well.

Welcome, haleygirl82! Awesome work getting that commitment in!

01-15-2010, 06:04 PM
Well, my weekend goal will have to be a bit different this time. Instead of exercise, I got to get my resume in order and work on some essay questions to apply to attempt to get a less flimsy job. One plus, my last day has been pushed back four months! *does a little happy dance* But my job is still a temp job, :(

Well, I'm keeping my spirits up and my weekend goal is to stay within my points and get up and move instead of growing moss as I sit in front of my computer monitor! Maybe I'll take my essay questions for a walk, and pause and jot things down when they come to me. ;)

Happy weekend to you all! :D I hope everything is going as hoped so far!

01-15-2010, 07:17 PM
zanheltangia- good luck with your resume!

today I went to an hour kickboxing class at my school. Weekends I don't always exercise but since my daughter's school is closed on Monday I'm going to do week 2 day 1 of the couch to 5k at my mom's house instead of my school gym

01-16-2010, 01:22 PM
Thanks, i'm going to need it. I feel the procrastination bug biting. ;)

Wow, kickboxing! Such an inspiration, :D

01-16-2010, 01:25 PM
I've been kind of MIA the past week :P Just had a seriously hectic week. I really need to exercise more. I only exercised twice this week. It doesn't seem like enough to me.

01-16-2010, 01:35 PM
Twice is a heck of a lot better than none! ibcnuldu, good to see that you are back,

01-16-2010, 02:26 PM
Twice is a heck of a lot better than none! ibcnuldu, good to see that you are back,

Yeah, but I used all of my flex points this week. I find that my body always gains a lot of water weight after strength training and I'm on my period. So I'm not really sure how much I lost. I'm thinking of postponing my weigh in.

01-18-2010, 03:10 PM
You could always use your "free weigh in" pass if you really rather not hop up on that scale and still get and give meeting input. That is if you go to meetings ;) But yeah, I fight a mean TOM myself, my iron gets so bad that I just zombie around and give people looks if they want me to do something physical.

Well, I had an odd weekend. I tracked fine on Sat but Sunday went out the window as soon as I realized I woke up around noon. Craming in 32 points into those eight or nine hours of awake time would have been easy to do healthily if I was at my own house, but at my folks' house? I'd feel like a mess! So unfortunately that lead to not paper tracking, though my mental tally was 16-20 pts for the day. Bleh! Stupid lack of appetite.

On the plus side though, I managed to snag my sister both days and we did a quick nature walk on Saturday before a mile on the treadmill and two miles on the exercise bike before her gym closed. Then went back soon after I woke on Sunday and did another two miles on each.:D That felt good and I'm not sore so I didn't over do it.

I think I'll post her and maybe my pics if I can get that part working.

I hope I make it to -10lbs total this week, I could use non-muddy sneakers. :p

01-18-2010, 03:42 PM
Sorry that the pics are so large...
At North Forks, a nice and windy day ;)
My sister, we took the path less traveled... or in this case muddier and rather narrow. :D
Widens out
On the way back
Yeah, that's Florida.

01-19-2010, 01:09 PM
The day is going by so fast!

01-19-2010, 06:19 PM
That trail looks lovely! We have nothing like that here.

I lost 1.5 lbs last week. I kind of went off plan yesterday, but I'm back on today. I should exercise tonight, but I've been so lazy lately. I'll probably bike for 15 minutes and do my 30 Day Shred dvd.

01-20-2010, 09:15 AM
Are the trees and such rather sparse in Kansas? At least there's no worries over mosquitos this time of year for you guys, we got attacked about half way down the smaller trail. ;)

Congrats on your 1.5 loss! I tripped myself Sunday, but at least we hopped back up. :D

01-20-2010, 02:16 PM
had my first week weigh in today. down 3.4lbs.....yaay! I'm proud of myself because I gave it 100% and I didn't have to kill myself in exercise or starve lol I ate all my extra points lol Happy Wednesday everyone oh on Saturday we're going to the shelter to adopt a cat I'm so excited!!

01-20-2010, 03:50 PM
Awesome haleygirl82, Congrats!!! :carrot:
Oooh! Will you post pics of your new kitty???

I've got WI myself in a couple hours. I think I did good, and if so, I'll be picking up a new pair of sneakers as treat to myself. I'll be so happy to get rid of these muddy and falling apart things on my feet. ;)

01-20-2010, 04:52 PM
hello everyone... I am so glad you started a thread. What is the avarage amount of weight to loose per week?? I lost 5lbs the first week, and 1lb the second, and 1lb the thrid week. I have not been able to exercise very much at all. I guess it is a good thing that I am loosing something each week. I am a mommy to a 9 year old and a 6 month old plus I work full time. So I just want to see what you thought the avarage is.

01-20-2010, 07:44 PM
zanheltangia-Thank you! I certainly will post pics...I am so excited! Kate wants to get a girl and we've decided to name her Daisy....c'mon saturday hurry up!! haha! good luck on your w.i.!!

01-20-2010, 08:20 PM
Well, those sneakers will have to wait for next weekend! But -.8 lb isn't bad at all. ;)

Average on WW is .5 to 2 lbs a week, so your 1 lb weeks are great, Patrisha! :carrot: And the 1st week's loss of 5lbs was awesome!
I'm pretty sure taking care of two young kids is exercise in most peoples' opinion, and especially in mine! Remember, even housework is exercise, just keep moving. :D

Aw, Daisy! :hyper: I can't wait to see the girl you'll pick out! :D
Thanks for your wishes of luck, I'm rather happy with my WI, thanks!

01-20-2010, 10:11 PM
Hello ladies! I am new to WW and to this site! You all seem so great! I am impressed with everyone's determination!! I hope you all don't mind me jumping in here on this thread....
I started WW a week ago (at home, no meetings) and I have lost 4.2 lbs!!

01-21-2010, 07:58 AM
hottpinkmomma-Congrats and welcome! I started last week too but I need the meetings, tried at home, turned out miserably lol

01-21-2010, 09:27 AM
Hello, hottpinkmomma, glad to have you here! 4.2! Awesome 1st week.

Alright, everyone! Any plans or goals for the weekend? :D

01-21-2010, 11:04 AM
Hello hottpinkmomma, I am also doing the WW from home. I have been to a few meetings in the past but am unable to attend now. I am very glad to have found this site it is such a big help. Congrats on the 4.2. great job!!

My goal for this weekend is to get in a little exercise.

01-22-2010, 11:03 AM
Bleh! TOM is such an energy drain... I feel like my brain is going in slow motion, but my body feels better than usual thanks to the healthier foods and staying with my WW points.
Weird combo, ;).

Well, I fear that this weekend might be just a bit lazy for me. Feeling fatigued with low iron, I think I'll skip heading south and going to the gym with my sister and instead take a few walks around the neighborhood this weekend.

01-25-2010, 09:24 AM
So how'd you do, calboydoc? Get that exercise in? :D

Is everyone keeping their spirits up?

My sister suffered from the same energy drain as I did this weekend, bleh!
But we vowed to get back on our feet again this week. I could use some mindless treadmill walking, very good for daydreaming. ;)

01-26-2010, 09:16 AM
Rather quiet week so far...

01-26-2010, 09:43 AM
Can I jump in? I have been doing the weight watchers from home since July 27th. I have lost 30 pounds so far...but haven't lost a pound since Thanksgiving. Also didn't gain any over the holidays, but need to get back at the losing end. I have 22 pts a day right now, and I'm trying to fill up on fresh fruits and veggies as much as possible. Also doing the Turbo Jam DVDs, and whatever other ones I have...don't like group excercise (I turn embarassingly red in the face when working out...looks like I'm about to pass out when really I'm fine).
Oh, and since I see a few of you are cat lovers...our family has two cats. One is a big silver Persian, named Aladdin, and the other is a fluffy tortoise barn cat named Jasmyn.
Goal for the week...excecise 5 days of 7 and lose a pound or two.

01-26-2010, 10:52 AM
Mind if I join the group. I have been with weight watchers on and off many times. I am starting today and will attend my meeting on Friday. Well I got my workout in ( though it was short) and am about to eat my breakfast. I am feeling very positive this time around.

01-26-2010, 01:35 PM
Welcome Bev and boatingmommy, glad to have you! :D
Congrats on your loss and maintanence, boatingmommy! :carrot:
You're off to a great start, Bev!

Yeah, I'm a cat person. ;)
The cat (Tigger) under my name came from a publix parking lot.
Tiny little thing she was. Neighbors across the street showed the little kitten to my siblings and I, and there was no easy way for my folks to say 'no' to the four expectant faces.

01-26-2010, 02:02 PM
Thanks for the welcome, Zan.! Yep, it's hard to turn down little expectant faces...that's how we talked my hubby into the second cat. Lots of pouty lips and sad eyes! Worked like a charm!

Doing well with eating today...cereal, banana and milk for breakfast, and homemade beef barley veggie soup and a pear for lunch, with a yoplait light yogurt for snack. Only 7 points left for the day, though! Drat!!! :hungry: Well, I'll just have to plan ahead. Going to do my Turbo Sculpt workout after lunch.

I've got a swimsuit in the closet that I'd like to fit into for summer. Might need to hang in on a hook from the fridge! How's that for motivation? Maybe hanging it around my neck might be even more effective? Whatever works, right?:sumo:

01-26-2010, 02:10 PM
Grab some zero point veggies for a snack between now and dinner if you need something to eat. Filling foods are awesome for that.
A cup each of raw carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms, and 10 sprays from the wish bone spritzer is a good way for me to get my veggies in. I tend to have that for lunch but it makes a good points saver snack when very hungry.

01-27-2010, 02:27 PM
Welcome Bev and boatingmommy!!

week 2 weigh in -4.4lbs....I was nervous because 3 days I went over my points by quite a few lol I was prepared to accept a gain today...didn't happen....yaaay!!!

01-27-2010, 03:28 PM
Congrats on the loss, Haley! :D
Did you use your flex points that week? Maybe your "little over" worked well within the weekly points. Just a thought, ;)

01-27-2010, 03:47 PM
Congrats on the loss, Haley! :D
Did you use your flex points that week? Maybe your "little over" worked well within the weekly points. Just a thought, ;)
yes i used them all on wine and crackers friday night lol

01-27-2010, 04:20 PM
Way to go, Hayley! I have been suprised a couple times in the past when I went over and then saw a loss. Some "magical" metabolism thing, I guess. Somehow it works, and I'm not going to knock it.

Zan - I'm eating lots of fresh veggies and fruit for snack...I'm going to turn into a fruit salad pretty soon!

:)Doing good with points for today. Fighting the sugar munchies, though. Going to have a bag of smart pop for snack...only 1 point. That should tide me over till dinner. Worked out at lunch...40 minutes of light weight training and some hoola hooping on the Wii (trying to work on waist line!). The Wii is more fun than workout...but it seems to make the muscles ache, so it's gotta be working, right? Hope you all are having a great Hump Day!

01-27-2010, 08:42 PM
My Wednesday went well, though I did have to drive around all over the place. But that was pleasant compared to my usual sitting behind the computer screen in the near-silent office. :D

01-27-2010, 11:47 PM
Zan - Tomorrow will be my day to drive all over the place. I am a social worker for Birth to Three services for the State of Illinois. One day I am working at home on paperwork all day, the next I am driving from house to house on home visits. We live in a rural not much traffic to worry about.

Bad thing about the driving around thing is packing lunch, and trying to figure out where I'll be when it's time to eat. Guess I'll pack a sandwhich and some fruit.

Hope you all had a good day!

01-28-2010, 10:53 AM
A good lunch box makes a heck of a difference. ;)

This coming from the lady who tosses baggies of fruits and veggies in a grocery bag with yogart and pudding cups, and a few snack items.

Then again, it's only outside of a fridge for about 15 to 20 minutes. :p

01-29-2010, 09:36 AM
Yeah, I have been using my daughters retired "Princess Kitty" lunch box...It's just not "cool" enough for her to use anymore (being almost 12 years old), but it does have a freezer pack for in the warmer weather, and lots of room. Guess I'm not "cool" either! Do they still use the word "cool"? I'm so out of touch!

Even though my weigh in date is officially on Monday's, I jumped on the scale this morning...I am so glad I did....156.5!!! Yeah! All those aerobic tapes and healthy food are paying off. Now...gotta stay away from the beer this weekend. I have a few Bud Select 55 in the fridge...but that's it.:nono: No celebrating weight loss with a couple of cold brewskis...very counter productive!

Hope you all enjoy your Friday and weekend!

01-29-2010, 10:04 AM
boatingmommy, I laugh at your brewskis! :D
Congrats on the 156.5!!!

Things are lining up for me and mine down here, I might just go wild and take a car trip to an old friend's house and waste the day away sitting, chatting, and playing a game or two! (But of course, I'll be on plan while they order their pizzas or fast food, smirking all the while at my happily-imagined healthy-superiority, ;p)

01-29-2010, 10:16 AM
MUuuahh, ha....ha! (Evil laugh...tough to spell!) Yes, your diabolical weight loss plan will work...maybe every one will fall under your weight loss spell...because you are the master!!! They won't even be aware of your powers over food!

Okay, that was a little weird... in a goofy mood cause it's Friday. What can I say?:dizzy:

01-29-2010, 10:27 AM
Moohawhawhawhawhaw! is right!

Though I don't think a couple of them should lose any, they'd turn sideways and disappear. :p But a couple of us are rather solid, ;)

I could see it now, *cracks whip*. *giggle*

I think the silliness is contagious!

01-30-2010, 08:20 PM
OH well it's Saturday night and I ain't got no (is it body or money???) Tough to sing the song when you don't know the words...Okay, I'm old may not have ever even heard the song.....ANYWAYS!!!
Just logged my points for the day. Did pretty room for a bag of Smart Pop while watching movies with the family.:carrot: I did have a couple of Select 55's with my Brother-in-law and his wife last night. But I stopped at a few and logged the points. Still on target for the week. Did not work out today, though. I'll make up for it with a round of Turbo Jam in the morning. Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

02-01-2010, 08:56 AM
I think it's nobody... maybe. Been a while since I heard that song, and though I'm mid-twenties, I do listen to the older musics, ;) Jefferson starship/airplane, Wooowhoooo! And a variety of others of course, I just have the song Jane playing in my head.

Great work, staying on target! :carrot:

02-01-2010, 09:32 AM
Okay, getting a little pissy! :mad:You know I was down a pound and a half on Thursday. Well, nope...scale this morning said the same old 158!!! DANG!!! (I'm using worse words here at home!) Sooooo..guess I'll try a little harder this week. I did work out 5 of the 7 days last week and logged all my points and had points left I don't get it. Well, we'll see what happens next week.:?:

02-01-2010, 03:20 PM
Points left over, weekly points, activity points? (surely not dailies? ;)) If you are working out that much you probably need them to fuel you.

I dunno, keep working on it, something should give.
Do you track your inches? Your body might be working on that right now.

02-01-2010, 09:57 PM
I know I've been MIA, just had a crazy time the past couple weeks. I've lost about a half pound since I last posted. I wasn't exercising at all and went to Burger King (bad me). All of my family is on WW now or some sort of diet so I'm confident I can get close to eight lbs total this week! :D

02-02-2010, 08:34 AM
Hey, the rare BK trip won't hurt you if you keep tracking and fit it in your daily points. That's what I like about WW, if I have to have something, I work it in. Though there hasn't really been a 'have to have' for me since I started (except for a chunk of fresh bread about a week or two after I started, I took off nine pts for that treat) <-breadaholic, ;)

I have something for you, ladies:

02-02-2010, 09:43 AM
Okay, I'm in better spirits today. Going to have to track my points before I even leave the house because I'm going to be gone all day and most of the early evening (all the eating hours of the day). Very busy at work with lots of new kids on my caseload.
Going to a new kickboxing class tonight with some girlfriends. A little nervous because I've never worked out with ANYONE...preferring to sweat in solitary silence as the video workout plays on and on. SO...I guess I will go and try it out with a smile on my face and an open mind...with an open beer in my hand afterwards if I make a fool out of myself! No, I isn't the answer to all of life's problems, but it sure helps! That explains my previously expanding waisteline.:o
Well, wish me luck on the class...and I'll wish you all a beautiful day full of healthy choices.

02-03-2010, 08:54 AM
How was your class, boatingmommy? :D

I'm rather relaxed this morning, no bossman or morning meeting today, the only coworker here was out of the office in forty-five minutes, and I'm sitting here typing and listening to music before I have to start work on the floor plans to the new office again. (<- is not an architect or a designer, though my boss seems to think I should be able to work miracles and cram a lot of office furniture into tiny rooms after only seeing them for a few minutes in person and being given rough measurements and a list of junk to fit in.)

Breathe in...release...breathe in....release....UUuuuuuummmm. Fill your mind with tranquil thoughts. Yea, good luck on that! Sounds like you are getting ready for some big changes at work.

Kick Boxing class was okay. A little tougher than doing my Turbo Jam video, but I was pretty proud of myself for being able to get through the whole thing. It was actually fun going with my girlfriend (wasn't convinced I'd like working out with other people). There were lots of faces there that I recognized, even a few people from High School that I hadn't seen in a while.
When we were done there was a healthy snack laid out, with the recipe card and calorie count, which I thought was a nice touch.

Okay, going to do my Turbo Strength video at lunch and stay on points today. Hope you have a good one!:carrot:

That sounds awesome, great job!

And I agree to that snack being a nice touch, I wouldn't think of them having that after a class, but it makes sense to me.

Hope they were friendly faces,

Seeing as it is week two of Feb, there should probably be a new forum.

How about a three month one this time?
