Default Serving Size Question

Ok.. I'm looking online for some recipes to add to my recipe book and have come across something..

if you have a recipe.. that only says "per serving" but it doesn't specify what a serving is.. do you assume it is one cup.. or less.. or more.. just a question from the not so smart..

It should tell you how many servings per recipe also. In general most soups and stews are 1 cup servings and meats are 3-4 ounce servings.

The best advice I can give is to measure it out after you are done and divide it by the number of servings the recipe states.
