Default how long to rinse . .

canned beans? I know there is a lot of sodium in them, so Im wondering how long I should rinse them to get out as much as possible.

No idea what Im going to do with them, but i've never really eaten them before that I can remember so I figured I'd give them a whirl.

Thanks for any help, cheers.

Default Rinse the beans

Hi Coondocks,
I rinse them for a couple of minutes. I just dump them into a small strainer, rinse them and let them drain for a couple of minutes.

Just had some dark red kidney beans in my salad for lunch today. They really help satisfy that missing protein craving. They give the meal some "tooth" and are creamy tasting. I love them. Plus they are an awesome source of protein!!

Thanks for the tip, I ended up making them with brown rice, some grilled tomatoes and hot sauce . . . it was a lot better than I was expecting.
I like beans, who knew lol.
