Default Pre-Conditioning Questions

I start preconditioning tomorrow and when I signed up and paid on New Year's Eve, the center was understaffed/busy and I didn't get a full explanation, just the paperwork. I was felt so rushed and didn't know even what to ask until I had already left and they had closed. It says to "reduce consumption of caffenine, sweets and starches". Does this mean I, as a diet coke-aholic, can still have one during preconditioning instead of going cold turkey? That's my main question. I'm excited to start but nervous!!

You could probably cut it down to 1 a day during preconditioning, knowing that once you start program there is no caffeine. Try to wean yourself off so it won't be such a shock to your system when you get your first menu. Best of luck! This program really does work; after awhile you will adjust to lack of caffeine.

I was drinking 60 oz of caffeine a day prior to starting. I cut down to 16 oz during pre-conditioning.

I was also a Diet Coke-aholic....if I can do it ANYONE can It also seems to get "less overwhelming" as time goes on. I remember at first I almost cried at the meeting as felt like---it's too much.....but one meal at a time and you'll get there! Welcome!
