I guess that would depend on how far the stray was...but I would probably wait to make sure that #1 I heard right and #2 talked to the pastor to make sure of what I thought was correct after researching it....
Our Pastor told me when I took the Adult information Class over 26 years ago that if we ever felt we were being told something not biblical to come to him and by all means research for ourselves....
I feel very fortunate to say that after over 26 years I have never heard something I felt was incorrect....
