Default protein power anyone?

I'm looking for info on this plan, I do not have the book, I bought Living low carb and it gave it a 5 star review so it got my attention, the review said for phase one you get 30 grams of carbs a day for 2 weeks and phase two is 55? is that about right? and is there other "rules" I need to get started at home? TIA!!

You may find this helpful:

But...I do strongly urge you to get the book and read it

thank you so much! that link had great info

so I think for me I'd need to tweak it a bit.. like stick with the daily carbs but not measure or count my protein grams.. actually I'm looking for a low carb plan that I count carbs on only but alcohol and such are not forbidden.. so basically as long as the item fits within my carb alotment it's allowed.. do you personally think protein power would fit this idea or something else?? I saw your success with atkins so I know you have some real ground for opinion here and I respect that, thanks again!
