Default The Holiday Monster

Well, I finally fell victim to the Holdiay Monster and I need support. How do you all get back on track after falling off the wagon?

The last 5 days have been horrible for me! I kinda just started slacking off about counting...I guess I just got lazy. I don't think I ate anything too horrible, but I definitely wasn't counting and measuring all of my portions. If something wasn't easily countable (nutrition on label, etc.) I just said screw it and didn't count for the whole day. Then I knew I was over my points for the week even though I had one day left, so I just said forget it and I'll start over when my week resets. Well, my week reset on Sunday and I didn't count Sunday either! So, now I feel like this week is down the tubes as well. It's the start of a vicious cycle and I want to nip it in the bud ASAP!

I really don't want to reset where my week starts (I prefer to go from Sunday to Saturday), so should I just start counting today and assume I get all 35 weekly allowance points or should I take some of them away to account for the fact that I blew off the first day of my week?

I'd just start counting today and assume that you get your 35 weekly points. The important thing is getting back to the WW plan and not dwelling on a small lapse.

Thanks ladies!! I will take your advice and just move forward. Somewhere in my head I knew that was the right answer, but it is important to hear someone else say it to confirm I've been back to work this week, so that has helped too!

Happy New Year's to you both!
