Default Down to 300 by SUMMER! Maybe?

So I weighted myself yesterday morning and I was 368!!!! I was so excited, I couldn't believe it. I have losted(sp) 16 pounds in like 4 weeks. That is so exciting! So I am hoping by summer that I will be down to 300. Everyone is saying I will but I don't know. I hope so!

OMG....I still have all my Christmas shopping to do AHHHH! I haven't even started, and today is one of the most busiest shopping day's of the year! Where has all the time gone? I can't believe I waited til last minute! Where is the coffee because it's going to be a long day !!!!

So how about everyone else? Is everyone done Christmas shopping?

Congrats on the 16 pounds! That's fantastic!!! And I bet you can get to 300 or very close to it by summer. For those of us tall girls with a lot to lose, the early losses are the best ones!

As for the Christmas shopping, my immediate family stopped exchanging gifts last year and what a relief! We all have too much anyway and are really hard to buy for, so it was a great decision for us. Most of my friends and I have the same pact too. The few things I did need to buy, I ordered online and had sent so I'm all done. Whew! Good luck today!

300 lbs by summer is a REAL possibility. STICK with your plan. Tweak it as need be. Customize it to suit yourself and your needs. There's no way that you CAN'T lose provided you follow that sensible, healthy eating plan. It's your choice. Your decision. You have the power. You hold the key. Go for it. You won't be disappointed!

Congratz on the loss so far. You're doing great. As far as Christmas is concerned, I won't be home for it, I did leave some stocking stuffers with each of my parents for the other, so they have something on Christmas morning. I'm making most of my other gifts, a crocheted blanket for my boyfriend's mother (kind of a birthday/christmas/thank you for inviting me combo present), some earrings for my aunts (I do beading and wirework), we still have to get something small for his nieces and nephew, but we're planning on heading to the mall after work on one of the days he's home earlier. Of course I will exchange bigger gifts with my parents once I get back home. I may take my mom shopping at Fashion Bug on the way home from the Detroit Airport when they come pick me up, and my Dad is easy enough to shop for a gift certificate for Home Depot or some similar store.

Congratulations on your 16 pounds! It's wonderful and I'm sure you can reach your summer goal of 300.

No shopping for me today; we're having a blizzard and the malls are all closed!

We are piled with snow here and since our little town doesn't seem to know how to plow the roads shopping was out I was looking forward to shopping, so too bad..have to find a babysitter sometime in the next week and finish up.

I think you can totally hit 300 by this summer if you stay focused and keep accountable here. I want to be under 200 by then....so, here's to us rocking it this summer yeah, toast with coffee instead of wine for your health and to wake ya up

I'd say not maybe but... DEFINITELY! And even if you don't make it to goal of 300 by summer (which you so will) you'll be so close to it! It's like the saying, shoot for the moon and even if you don't reach it, you'll land among the stars!

I know you can get to 300 by summer! Hard to imagine fun in the sun right now. As for Christmas, I finished all my shopping but I planned to winterize our porch for the kids Christmas. I'm putting down a mat floor and putting up a sand table, slide and some other toys. I am pretty far behind on that work so I may be up *really* late on the 24th. It will be worth it because we've never had a yard or porch before this apartment so they've never had a chance to get outdoor toys.
