Default New to measuring in ounces

I've started weighing in with the Wii which shows your weight to the ounce. This is new to me! So...weird question...

If the Wii says I am 219.8, do I get to say I weigh 219?

As long as you always follow the same rule, it doesn't matter.

Many times I have said that I play head games with myself. My commitment to the numbers is "I will round like math" That is how I started and that I what I want to stay with.

So 254.4 will be 254...then my head says...well if I say 254 then next week it might not look like I have lost as much....I don't know how it works...it is my mind going like the energizer bunny!

Weekly I remind myself...we are rounding like I learned in math with the .5 going up

I'm like Cathy. I round as per standard math rules (My algebra teacher would be so proud!) .8 lbs is almost an entire lb and in a bad week, it could be all I lose. So I round up if it ends in .6 or .8 to honestly have a larger weight loss most weeks.

I've been inputting in by the ounce, no rounding. I use the Wii Fit too.

Maybe I'll stick to the real number, like you Rakel, because Cathy, I am obsessive like that too with the mind games.

I like the Wii fit because it keeps track and it seems to be rather accurate. I know my doctor's scale always measured me a good 15 lbs heavier than my home scale, and Wii seems to do the same thing.

I had rounded down from 219.8 to 219. Then this morning, I weighed myself and found that I have lost 1.8 lbs, which takes me down to 218 even. But going from a rounded 219 down to just 218, well that feels like one pound. So I guess I have my own question. I think I will be using the decimal point.
