I love the energy I have right now! It feels good.... and I'm tired of, well, feeling tired.

My mind feels clearer, I have more bounce to each step, and smiling is simply easier.

I struggle with exercise now, not food. So I've decided that I'm going to walk everyday for a week and see what that does for me. I walked yesterday, so being on plan this week means walking.

And the one reason I'm going to do it is because I want to be a healthy person in all ways.

Because in spite of the scale still being stubborn, I am starting to see some definition in my abs, of all places. That's crazy talk! There's still plenty of fat there, but underneath it I can see my obliques trying to peek out. If I keep at it I know I will see them for real eventually. Someday. (Any time now, body.)

Today is another day... I am glad to think that 2 cookies were the only things I had off plan yesterday... I managed to get through the rest of the day OP. But let me tell you that having cookies in the morning made my day so much harder... I thought about having more sweets all day long and there were times when I thought I would not make it without another cookie....
I learned my lesson in the hard way...
But today no cookies and I'll be on plan because I am so proud of myself and don't want to ruin my week at the very last day :)
BTW: I had a very tough week... having to refuse so many temptations.... I had to say no to a free dinner Wednesday night, say no to some bakery at the lunch room and say no to free Burger King from a lady at work!!!
Didn’t manage to say no to 2 cookies yesterday though :( But that is past....
Boy those cookies still haunting me.... EVIL!!!!

Because I have to go back to Poland in 3 months to have my implants finished. I have the abutments on but no teeth! I barely made it home last time using a wheelchair at the airport. Poland does NOT accomodate people that have trouble walking so I'm SOL if I don't stay on track. And I can't afford to have them finished in the states.

Because I fly to my parents' house tomorrow for eight days, and I won't be 100% in control of my food while I'm there. I will be in charge of the choices I make, though, and of sticking to my workout routine. Even with Christmas looming I know I can come home lighter than when I left, if I set my mind to it.

Because I came back to work yesterday after a week and a half of vacation, and so far two different people have asked if I lost weight while I was gone. I'd blame it on the outfit, but the question was asked on two different days, so it's not just that this dress is really flattering, I guess.

According to the scale I haven't lost any weight, but I did stick to my workout plan while I was out of town, so clearly I am making progress. If I keep sticking with it the scale is bound to budge eventually.
