I heard a rumor that Diet-Rite and Tab both use sucrulose, but haven't checked it out for myself yet. Know of any others?
I suppose there's an option of making unsweetened ice tea w/Splenda, or something similiar...
I'd love to hear what all of you drink (occasionally, of course, after 8 glasses of water have been consumed! :)
Thanks for your ideas!

Angie,
I drink seltzer water (usually lemon lime), no calories, fat, sugar, etc and its got that fizzzzzz I'm usually looking for.
I also drink plain iced tea. Lipton makes a cold brew bag that makes I think a quart of tea. Its excellent. You just plop it in and it brews in minutes. Being I am from a big family my parents couldn't afford sodas or fancy drinks, so thats what we had. And I love it, it really quenches your thurst. Sugary stuff only makes me more thursty.
Every once in a while, even though I'm against diet soda, I will have a diet dr. pepper. Maybe 1x a month, if that.
I love cold coffee over ice, like the hazlenut kind or vanilla w/cream and a sweet&low.
Thats about it...hope it helps.

I'm a big iced tea drinker and drink Crystal Lite, but also love to make sun tea with green or black tea.
Leens, I love the leftover coffee that way too, over ice with a Splenda and some half and half. YUMMY!

Diet Rite is made with Splenda, I have one every two to three days. I also have Decaf iced tea with Sweet and Low.
If I want something sweet, which is not near as often as it used to, I have a black cherry diet rite. Mmmmmmmmmm..............
Amber
P.S. My mom gets the black cherry diet rite and puts heavy cream in it for a pseudo float!

I just brewed my favourite......celestial seasonings, wildberry zinger, and I add Splenda to it. It sort of tastes like a kool-aide tea! Its delicious!:)

I just bought some Waist Watcher soda that is made with Splenda. I found loose cans in my grocery store, but found a case of different flavors at Sam's Club. They also don't have any caffiene.

I like the ICE BOTINICALS. When we first started to buy them we got them at SAM's, but we haven't been able to find them there lately. I have been buying them online, but the shipping is quite steep. I'm looking for some where to buy them locally. But the flavors are great, I especially like the PEACH PASSION. and 0 calories!!!

I drink club soda with a little davinci syrup added. It is sugar free and sweetened with splenda. They come in lots of flavors, strawberry, peach, butter rum, lime the list goes on and on. I also put davinci syrup in my yogurt.

Thanks, I am new to this board. I started doing low carb about a month ago. I will stick around, you guys are great.
I get my davinci syrup from Low carb heaven in Manchester N.H. There is also a bakery in Salem N.H. that sells low carb stuff. They have good muffins, cheese cake and most of all mountain bread(pita bread). I will post directions if you want them.

Sandra, I would like directions to both places, Manchester & Salem. We live about an hr. drive north of Manchester. Thanks, I would appreciate it. I never knew there were any low carb places in NH. I live in a rural area, and I have to drive about 10 miles to a decent grocery store. When we do go to Mass. we usually stop at a Bread & Circus to pick up a few things. Trader Joe's is nice too, but for some reason I like Bread & Circus better.

Aleka,
I love bread and circus but it is so expensive. I only go to them if I can't find what I am looking for anywhere else.
Low Carb Heaven is located off of route 93 exit 9W. When you make your exit follow the road around that will put you on DW highway. Low carb heaven is on your left. It is in a little mini mall.
Chantila's Bakery is off of 93 also. It is the Salem exit 1. When you get off of exit one you make 3 lights and make a left after the 3rd light you are on broadway. Make another light and right before the second light look over to your left. If you blink you will miss it. Chatila's Bakery Toll free Number is 1 877 619 5398.
Further down is a super walmarts. I hope this helps you. Chantila's also sells ice cream so you might want to bring a cooler. Everything freezes so well. I go about once a month to stock up on all my muffins, which the kids love too. You must get the mountain bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I go to sub shops I bring my own bread and have them make me a pocket. It is also good for pizza.
Have a Blessed Day!

Thank you for the directions. We had to make a trip down to Mass. this morning, and on the way home we stopped at both places. Had no trouble finding either one. We hit the one in Salem first and I got some of the mountain bread, some muffins, and a couple of their single serving sized cheese cake. I didn't find the ice cream until on my way out the door. I'll save it for next time. The store in Manchester I bought some of the Davinci syrup, the chocolate flavor plus a low carb cookbook. What do you use the Davinci syrup for? The girl suggested that I add the syrup to either tonic water or club soda. It really sounds great!
Thanks again. Aleka

I am glad that you found the stores, I was lost when I went to the bakery.
I use the syrup for tonic and yogurt. I also use it to make my berry and strawberry topping for yogurt and cheese cake.
Hope this helps

Fruit 2-O by Very FIne also uses Splenda. It isn't a carbonated drink. It is flavored spring water, and it is very subtle. More like water than juice.
I don't think Tab is made with Splenda. Tab is made my Coca-Cola and I am pretty sure the only soft drink with Splenda is still Diet Rite. I couldn't find any link between the two in search engines.
