Cavalier Chocolate is made with Maltitol. Maltitol is a sugar alcohol as well as, a carbohydrate. It also has a relatively high glycemic index. It is also pretty well known for producing intestinal discomfort, mainly bloating, cramping and gas as well as diarrhea.
I personally would be very cautious of this product.
