when life gives you an excessive amount of lemons....you set up a roadside stand and sell them... make a profit :)
Or you just rub it in the faces of all of us who dont live somewhere warm enough to grow a lemon tree :(

Preserved lemons are easy to make at home for canning, and are a staple in Moroccan cooking. http://www.putsup.com/2009/05/glamorous-lemons-preserved-lemons.html
If you have drinking friends, you could use the zests to make large batches of limoncello...makes a wonderful, low cost Christmas gift! http://patty.vox.com/library/post/homemade-limoncello-when-life-gives-you-lemons.html
Or you could make a unique lemon jam or jelly or marmalade...this one is a honey lemon, and looks phenomenal. http://www.foodinjars.com/2009/04/09/honey-lemon-marmalade/
If you're running out of freezer space for the juice, you could always can it. It will keep 18 mo to 2 years without going bad, and won't take up the space in your freezer. http://www.pickyourown.org/lemonjuice.htm

my father made a compressor gun and uses it to launch lemons across the back field.
Or my cousins like to throw them them the fence in our backyard...makes a lovely air freshner.
Otherwise, I got nothing

Wow, I can't imagine having a lemon tree. I think it is cool. I suppose if you have lemons...then lots of other people have lemons...so giving them away probably isn't an option. Kinda like tomatoes here in the summer <smile> Me no nuttin bout lemons...just wanted to chime in...
Good luck! Cathy

mail some to me, lol!
Seriously, though I love the juice in hot tea, on chicken, salads, fish , or baked potatoes.
Use the dried peels to make potpourri.
Good luck!

Hi Gary get well soon :)
Lemons are a great way to clean your microwave.
Cut a couple up and put them in a dish with water. Cook on full power 2 minutes and let stand for a while. Helps to get rid of the smells that stick around sometimes in the microwave.
Also cut a couple up and throw in the garbage disposal, freshens things up.
I also enjoy them in my black tea.
Wondering what threads will EZ start tomorrow :)

Angie plays BUNKO once a month....if it isn't here she carpools with a fellow neighbor/teacher....well Linda honks....pulls up...I follow Angie to the door, to lock behind her, and I hear Linda yell up..."Gary, come and get a bag of lemons!" as she holds a bag out her car window...
I just shut the door...Angie will explain to her....
