I am looking for a dress to wear to a co-worker's wedding, and I have finally found something I like and that is flattering and age appropriate.

Only problem is...the dress has white in it. Is this a big no-no to wear to an evening wedding?

It also comes in a dark grey and black, but, that seems too funereal to me, but maybe I'm overthinking it.

This is the dress:

What do you think?

Get the black and white one. I would not be concerned about it having white in it. It is not solid white, and it is beautiful. GET IT !!!!!!

I wore the same dress to my cousins wedding... well maybe not the same but basically the same... My white part however was more of a cream color...maybe offwhite... But it really is a very flattering dress... go for it

As long as it isn't all white, you are fine. I wore black and white to the last wedding I attended. I was a bit concerned (I'm an old-school chickie) but when I got there - over 50% of the guests were wearing black and white.

It is a beautiful dress - and you will look fabulous!

I'd say go with black and white... While it's nice that you are concerned about etiquette, everyone will know who the bride is. :)
