I started pre-conditioning 10/30 and lost 3 lbs by 11/6. I started OP 11/7. I had my first official WI tonight and have lost another 3 lbs for a total of 6 lbs in 11 days! Such a motivator! 17 weeks and 51 lbs (now 45 :carrot:) and counting!!!!
And I have spent the last weekend reading a lot of past posts and all the menu suggestions! I can't wait to try! Thank you all for such a great site!!

What clinic do you go to. I go to the one in Clackamas. I don't see many from Oregon here. :)

you oregonians are making me homesick - occasionally, even after being here 20 years, I still see a cloud in the distance and think "The mountains are out today" and then I remember "there are NO snow capped peaks in North Carolina". And especially you, storment7, with the picture of you on a sailboat - oh, I'm going to sulk all day, why did we ever leave?!?!? If I had moved to North Carolina from Detroit, I probably would have been happy here, but living 10 years in paradise first, I'm just not happy with the humidity, bugs, lightning (instead of rainbows) and drenching rains like today (instead of being able to walk between the raindrops). Am I idealizing the Northwest? probably, but I don't care. I'll get back someday. Meanwhile, you guys enjoy being there for me, okay? Thanks :hug: jeanette

I am going to the Clackamas clinic too. I was referred by a friend who has already lost 60 lbs. Maybe we'll run into each other sometime.
