I just found out that I am going to be a bridesmaid on the 21st of November. I get to pick out my own dress, as long as it is black with NO patterns! Do any of you have any ideas where I could get an awesome dress?
Thanks,
Cori

How old are you? What sort of styles do you typically like? Any styles that are ruled out (you will NEVER, for example, find me in a cap sleeve!)?

JCPenney has a large selection of little black dresses available in plus or regular sizes:

What is your price range? Also, how formal does the dress have to be?

There's also David's Bridal.

I work for them, and we have up to a size 8. you'll have to order online, and I recommend either getting measured there and with the coordinating size and order online or get a size above your jean size.
The website for JCPennys that Mandalinn82 gave you has a dress by Joneswear on "page 2" for $79.99 that has a v-neck with a satin waist and matte jersey dress. I have it and it is very flattering!

Nordstroms.com has great plus size dresses, however they are pricey.

a few really cute ones on the JC Penny site. I like them too because if they don't fit you can return them and reorder.
