Talking Knocked upside the head!

I just realized something that just totally knocked me upside the head! When I started this lifestyle change I weighed (gasp!) 313.6 pounds. Something that I looked forward to from day one was the day I would not weigh in either the 300 or 200 ranges. When I started, I was a looong 114.6 pounds from saying I didn't weigh 200-something pounds.

It just hit me this morning that instead of 114.6 pounds away from 199, I am only 68.4! I mean, I know that I still have a ways to go to get to my goal of not weighing 200-something, & even further to get to my goal weight, & that I still have about 100 pounds to lose altogether, but I am so proud of what I have accomplished to far!

I just wanted to take a second to pat myself on the back I have such self-esteem issues & such a problem congratulating myself on how well I have done & am doing, that when it actually hit me how well I've done, I had to take a moment to share. Hope you don't mind

That's a great way to look at it... when I do my weight tables for my website, I put pounds to goal, and pounds to mini goal, I never even though of pounds from some other benchmark.... you're doing great, keep it up

Snowball (I read your name is Kayla? pretty name!!)
I also started at 313, believe it or not!! Now I weigh 263. 50 pounds down!! You have given me a different mind set and I want to thank you. I have been thinking "I have to lose 103 to get to my ideal weight of 160" instead of thinking "ONLY 64 to get to 199". Somehow it sounds so much easier to accomplish that!!
Hey you do deserve a pat on the back and a cheering section too!
You have lost about 15% of your original body weight. A major accomplishment if you just maintained that. But of course we are gonna keep on losing arent we??

That is good news and it's perfectly fine to toot your own horn every now and then and with that accomplishment I think I would be shouting it from the rooftops With that mindset I don't doubt you'll be seeing that 199 before too much longer.
