:welcome: We originally had a Halloween Challenge that Cheerio's started. Now we are up for yet another challenge! Not sure about a prize, but you NEVER know, there could be a SURPRISE! This challenge is a little less time than the other one. (You don't have to be good for as long, unless you want to!) So, we will weigh-in on November 29th, 2009. This would be on a Sunday, the day before the end of the month. We all like to start over fresh on a Monday, don't we? We hope you all join us in this challenge. It's so much easier when you have some "Buddies" that can relate to the struggles of weight loss. Our group all did an AWESOME JOB on losing weight. The total group loss was close to 100# for last month! Here's some Willpower Dust to give you a jump-start!:dust: :goodluck:

Hello Everyone, I'm back! I decided to enter a separate post with my challenge. I'm challenging myself to at least an 8# loss for the month of November. (That's about 2# per week.) It would be nice to lose another 10#, but I will take whatever I lose. I refuse to gain weight during this challenge! It's not an option! I was stuck at a plateau after I lost 8# last month and the scale didn't budge until about a week later! The best part of this was that I kept myself accountable and the end results were an additional 2# lost! I actually lost a total of 12# in the month of October, but on weigh-in day, it only showed a 10# loss. Water weight can do that, so don't get discouraged if you end up gaining a few pounds. If you keep yourself accountable, it will come off. I'm living proof of that! I know it will be tough with our weigh-in during Thanksgiving weekend, but hang in there! YOU CAN DO IT! We can still eat a nice Thanksgiving Day Dinner, but cut back on the portion sizes. If you feel guilty after wards, you can always burn some of the calories away after dinner or the next day. A nice long walk should help some! Well, that's it for now. Good Luck to everyone!

Hey Freckles thanks for starting a new one! I am in! I am at 217 right now and I would like to lose 8lbs. Everyone did such a great job with the Halloween challenge so I think this is a great motivation for people! Good luck ladies!

Okay everyone...It's time for me to reveal my stats! I was going to wait 'til I was below 200#, but decided that this is part of keeping myself accountable and not hold back any secrets. I started out on September 23, 2009 with our Halloween challenge weighing in at: 235#, then on Halloween Day, the end date of our first challenge-I weighed in at: 225#. As of this morning...I weighed in at 222#! Okay, I'm a little bit embarrassed with my posting here, but wanted to keep myself accountable! :eek: My long-term goal is to be less than 200# sometime in January of 2010! That's two months away...(including the month of January), so I feel this could be attainable. Oh my!, did I just reveal to the World what I weigh? I don't care as much anymore, 'cause I know if I keep myself accountable...I will reach my long-term goal. Once I reach that long-term goal, I will set an extremely long-term goal of a healthier weight. Once I reach 199#, I will have a better picture on what that will be. Okay! I've rambled on long enough! I feel so much better now!

Hello again.After a very trying Halloween weekend I am weighing in this challenge at 267.2 a little up from my weigh in on Halloween morning but it's just about TOM for me and I did have some chocolate.Well I should say alot of chocolate but now I'm ready to get back on track and lose some more.Thanks for the willpower dust.I could really use it!!

Okay, I would like to try to get in on this. I am currently on the very cusp of my ultimate goal. I would like to be SAFELY and CONSISTENTLY in my goal weight range. Today I am 130.5. I will AIM for 129. I know it doesn't seem like much but it is for me.

Freckles there is no reason to embarrassed! I mean Geeze look at my start weight starting with a 3. Now that's pretty depressing! :)

I'll join you guys again. 193 Today. (What happened to 192!!)

Goal is 185.

Ultimate Goal is 150 by April.

THANKS so much for starting the new thread Freckles! I don't have time to keep up with everyone if I was to start it. I just have been really busy lately. I checked my weight on Halloween and it was 198 so I guess I will start there and hopefully I will weigh 190 by Nov. 29th I been falling apart a bit lately with the whole eating healthy thing, but I am still trying and still hitting the gym and I just can not give up after losing 21 pounds. I got so excited about weighing in on Halloween cause I knew that I actually tried hard to be healthy and when I looked at the scale it showed it. I think I have never been that happy to stand on a scale lol. So I will try hard again and will be anxiously waiting to step on the scale by the end of this month. Good luck everyone and have fun =)

Howdy everyone! I am in again for the challenge! My goal is to get to Onederland by the end of November. I am at 208 as of this morning, so that's only 9 pounds to go. I KNOW I can do it!

so I hope to be at 162.2lbs.

I currenly weigh 140.6 I would love to lose 8 pounds!! That would put me at 132.6!!

I hope to make it through the month I didn't do good at all last month but hopefully I've got myself on track now.

I'm in. It's going to be scary weighing in so close after Thanksgiving, but I think if I keep this in mind on Thanksgiving, I won't eat so much stuffing & pie! In the other November weight loss thread I put that I would like to lose 10 pounds, so at the time, that was putting me at 196. I'd still really like to get down to this number, seeing ONDERLAND would be fantastic! That gives me about 8.5 more pounds I need to lose. I've got 24 days to do this...I'll try my best!

My Thanksgiving plan is to eat in the lower end of my calorie allowance during the week and on Thanksgiving I'll eat sensible portions and I won't drive myself crazy if I go into the higher end of my calorie allowance!

Hello Everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been here in awhile. It's been a crazy two weeks for me! Out of town for two weekends straight. I also was extremely busy with my job, appointments, etc... Things are starting to calm down a bit, thank goodness! I plan on eating really healthy this week, along with a great exercise regimen! I have surgery on Friday, so will be out of commission for a few days. I will definitely have to watch my weight loss plan during that time! I hope everyone is sticking to their plans and have a successful weigh-in on Thanksgiving Day. I will try and do my best to post here quite often for the remainder of our challenge. Here's a little more willpower dust to keep us motivated! :) :dust:

Well today is the day! How'd you all do?

I hit my goal of 196 last week, and I'm at 192.4 today! Hope everyone was able to achieve what they hoped for. :)

I was at 181.5 earlier in the week, and I did really well on Thanksgiving. I was up 0.5 in water weight, and then another 0.5 because the day after Thanksgiving I had a snacking day x______x But today the scale is going back in the right direction and I hope I can see 181.5 (or lower :3) tomorrow on the scale!

ETA: ... turns out I just hadn't gone to the bathroom yet properly... >____> :blush: hehehe :D I WIN THANKSGIVING! Lol

Hello Everyone!

I had a procedure done on the veins in my leg, so was not able to exercise for the past 10 days. So...because of this, my weight stayed the same. I guess it's better than gaining, huh? I go back to the doctor on 12/3, so will find out if I can return to my exercise routine then. I'm happy just to know that I survived Thanksgiving and so far not a weight gain because of it.

LBLAZY: Congratulations on making it to "Onederland", and also achieving your goal and then some! You are almost half-way to your final goal! You go Girl! :) You are such an inspiration!

Platformnine: You are doing an awesome job and it sounds as though you stayed in your calorie range for Thanksgiving. I checked out your progress pictures, you are definitely an inspiration to me! I will have to read your 3FC blog when I get some free time.

Well, my husband is giving me strange looks. I'd better get off of the computer and get some work done around the house. Hope to hear from the rest of you! :)
