I lost the weight with Weight Watchers on their very first plan which was a high protein, low carb - 10 servings of protein, 2 bread, 3 fruit, 2 milk and veggies. I continue to do well on higher protein, lower carbs. As soon as I eat a lot of carbs, the pounds pack on--and I do love them. I would be glad to be your buddy, if you want you can email me at [email protected] anytime. I now find that I maintain well when I keep the ratio of carbs and protein at 1 to 2 (5 carbs and 10 protein). I am an insulin resistant hypothroid so this is what works.
