---

aw Thanks Diva! sorry been abit busy! Things are going well. was finishing up corrections for my thesis and now its all officially checked and done, so now just have to get it printed and hard bound and hand it in :) :broc: how are you ?

lol thanks for the clip that was HILARIOUS !!! haha

hope everyone had a great halloween! I'm sorry to report, no loss this week, but this week am planning on doing lots of exercise and being strict with my calories. so hopefully will see some loss for next weeks weigh in.

Hey Girly, I'm glad you finished up corrections ans stuff. :D You're so smart!

I don't have much of a loss to report, maybe a few ounces or a pound. I have to go see what I was last week, but I am pretty sure it's in the negative. Thank goodness because I have been a bad bad girl. I am thankful there wasn't a gain. I mean seriously! Luck has been with me.

Anywhoo, Hugs, Mercey, Echo, Isabella, Nix, narnia, expatter, practiceliving, Big, Dixie (I hope you're okay), dream710, Nella, Rhonda, Zinke (where are you?), Somni, Soon2bFit, Mebehealthy. :hug:Yall come check in!!!!

exercise and food log for week 8 is now up:

Blue Team week 8: Exercise and Food Diary

Allocate yourself a smilie of your choice when you've been on plan food wise whether its staying within your calorie limit or staying on your diet plan.

and allocate yourself another smilie for when you have done exercise for the day.

See if you can obtain at least 12 smilies (points) by the end of the week!

Haven't been doing the greatest these past couple of weeks. I would like to say "but life got in the way" - but I think that's how the majority of us gain back the weight we lost! I'm determined to NOT to do and keep on trucking. Grad is coming up soon next spring and I want to look AMAZING!

Yes, I'm leading the Red Team now. Shannon (RangerChic) had a lot of stuff going on in her life, so she needed to take a break, and I volunteered to take over for her. If anyone would like to take over the Blue Team's numbers I'd be happy to email them the worksheet and walk them through the process, but if not I have absolutely no problem with keeping up with the numbers for you guys. We are all in this together!! :D

Hello Blue Team. I'm away from home for a couple of weeks helping DS and DIL with Baby. DS has to have minor surgery and won't be able to lift Baby for a couple of weeks and DIL teaches piano lessons 4 nights a week so I'm the official Baby Lifter. I didn't bring my laptop with me because of space so I'm using DS's but I can't use it full time like my own. So if I seem to be missing some days it's because I couldn't use the computer.

This week's thread has really taken off and the exercise thread is burning up! Hopefully, I'll get on again tomorrow.

The following team members have used more than two freebies, and are no longer eligible for the Biggest Loser Title. Of course this doesn't mean you can't participate in the chat or challenges, but your weigh-ins will no longer be counted in the weekly results.

GirlyGirlSebas
SkinnyJeansInWaiting

As a heads-up, the folowing team members have already used both of their freebies, so need to be sure and post their weight on time so they can stay in the running for the Biggest Loser Title.

Congrats to trekkie, Leslie( your r on fire!), & bigmid!! :carrot::carrot:

Monte Cristo-Thanks for stepping up and doing all the work for us. You could email me the spreadsheet I wouldn't mind keeping track. I will pm you my email. Please just check next week to be sure I do it right. I am really good with numbers but you never know!

Off today from work. We usually don't have election day off but after lasts years election with so many people coming out a lot of parents complained about people having access to the schools with the kids present. So Viola! we have the day off then they gave us tomorrow off 'cause Th & Fri is NJ teachers convention. So with 6 days off I am loving it!! Plenty of time to workout and plan for another great week.

Scale was up 1 lb this morning but I think that is water weight from starting to workout again. Did 20 mins on treadmill and 30 BL workout Yesterday.

Have a great Tuesday. BL on tonite!

hey guys!

I've used up both my freebies! Ugh! i've got to stop this... hit a rut, a couple minor things going on, just a bit down, but I've really got nothing to complain about in comparision with the millions of people who've got it worse than me.

How was everyone's Halloween!?? I just barely fit into my costume, hahaha. My period is due to start any second, and I'm dying for it! Here are some pics, I was the tooth fairy and my bf was a little German lederhosen boy.

Okay, happy to do the numbers! I'll PM Dixie and Monte!

Those pics are very deceiving. I'm wearing the tightest waist cincher of my life and standing from the side, haha.

I'm 140 now, and at 5'3" I'm just barely in the normal BMI range. I may never ever get to 115, and maybe my body is not supposed to, but I'd like to get under a size 8! We'll see, thanks for the compliment!

I agree with Diva, you look smoking HOT Jenny!!! stunning! in your halloween pics and the one in the sea! your shoulders are so nice and slim!

--

i can totally relate with you, about getting on track.

edit:

okay so last night i was reading "winning by losing" by jillian michaels. and i worked out my BMR, which is 1676. and she talks about changing your calorie intake from day to day so your body doesnt slow down its metabolism. so i'm gonna try that this week :) i'm feeling hopeful now!

so she says not to go below 1200 ever for women. so i'm gonna try eating 1200 calories one day and the next day eating around 1400-1600 calories the next day. and workout. i'm aiming for a 2lb loss this week!

Just a quick run through. Congratulations Blue Team on Winning. And thanks to MonteCristo for all your help.

I'm really sleepy and tired. It's the time change and working with Baby GS. I miss coming on any time I want but other people need the computer too.

I got in a longer walk than usual today because to do a circuitous route here where DS lives I have to go longer. I don't mind though as it's only about 15 minutes longer (about 1 kilometre).

I might not get back tomorrow as we're going to the city but I might later on in the night.

Take care, everyone.

Ladies? Are you there? What happened to all of the Blue team?

Anyway, I had some scale and nonscale victories yesterday. First, I hit 168.8 yesterday! Today was 168.6. Yay for a new decade! And I found a drawer full of slacks that I haven't worn in years because they were all tight. Well, 3 pairs were too big. One that was too big was a pair I wore to a X-mas party 2 years ago, and I could barely breathe in them then. And the other 6 or so pairs fit like a glove, some being a little roomy in the legs. I was doing a fashion show for DH last night, and every pair I showed him he would just say "those make your butt look great." then "Maybe your butt just looks great." Lol, men are so silly sometimes. But that feels good to get the compliment.

So I've started a pile of "pregnancy" clothes that are too big for me right now, but I don't want to get rid of them and I'll fit in them when I get prego. DH and I had our initial consult with the Dr. that will be doing his vas reversal yesterday, and we can schedule the surgery come Monday. :cheer2: So in a few short months we should be on our happy baby making way!

So that's the new news with me. What's going on with you guys?

I'm here just so busy on my days off. Loving it. Have been busy window shopping. Not really buying much just having the fun of spending time with my sis on Tues. and my dd's yesterday. Scale is back to 175 so hopefully it will move lower for Monday's weigh in.

Anyway, I had some scale and nonscale victories yesterday. First, I hit 168.8 yesterday! Today was 168.6. Yay for a new decade!

@ Montecristo Hi Blusies! I just wanted to let you know that I passed the Blue Team worksheet on to maryshady (I got her PM first), so she'll be taking care of your numbers in the future.

Thank you

Nixmom, Retire, Maryshady, Good morning to all of you and any others that I have missed:)

Hi team!
Sorry I have been MIA for most of the challenge. I moved and then things got all busy and I actually banned myself from the computer so that I could get things done.
But I am back now. I kinda lost my groove too and I am still trying to find it, the first thing will be to come and check in with you regularly and hopefully I will be able to start posting some losses really soon.

update from me. i've been working out everyday since last saturday in the hopes to see a loss and break through the 160s barrier into the 150s! since ive been stuck at 160.9 for a month!

but jillian michaels does advocate taking at least 1 day off. so since its been 6 days, reluctantly(!) ( i know i cant even believe it myself) i'm taking tommorow as my rest day from exercise. i feel that i should be working out hard every single day to get into the 150s, but i know that its going to be counterproductive and to prevent injuries you need one rest day at least during the week.

also i did all this research and reading today and im going to buy myself a heart rate monitor!!:bunny2: i've always wanted one! hehe

i've decided on getting a polar f7f. took me ages to finally decide on it. and am just now going to buy it and not read anymore reviews! hehe plus i figured it would be a nice gift to myself !:) for losing 14lbs so far.

going to order it tommorow! i am so excited

Hi,
Just thought I would do a quick post as I am not on as much these days. I still have a stupid cough hanging on and it is wiping me out. I also have some sort of stomach thing that is very painful. I have had it before (and not since my apendex was taken out a year ago) but it usually only last one night and maybe the next morning. Well I've had it for 4 days now. Enough already. It kind of starts out like severe hunger pains (so I eat & now am scared for my WW weigh in tonight) but then the pain is like someone is grabbing my insides and twisting them. So needless to say I have just been going to work and then going home and veggin on the couch. Hope all is well with the rest of the team. It looks as though there are some good victories happening. WTG Blue Team.

Hi everyone. It's been hit and miss with the computer the last few days. I've been busy with Baby GS and taking DS to the hospital. He had his surgery today and will be in hospital until Monday. We aren't allowed to visit him because of H1N1. All visits are banned until this is over.

Even with all this extra activity I've managed to stay on track with my food and have even been able to get in at least 30 minutes of some kind of exercise. Today it was dancing for the Baby. He cries for his mother when she's giving piano lessons. So today I danced and danced sometimes with him in my arms and sometimes while he was lying on the floor watching me. He was quite amused at my moves. After the dancing I wheeled him all over the house in his stroller for 1/2 an hour. I may be at DS's place for 3 weeks as the doctor said he can't lift the baby until then.

Diva, a turkey wattle is so charming. It goes along with the batwings under the arms so nicely. So turtle necks and 3/4 length sleeves never go astray. :D

Echo, send us some illustrations or links to the face exercises.

Bigmid, have you been checked out for gall bladder trouble?

Mercy, I don't know if I'll get any more challenges done while I'm at DS's house but you guys keep up the good work.

Nella, I'm still here! I'm just not always able to post when I'd like.

Mary, thanks for doing the stats for us.

And a GREAT BIG HELLO TO EVERYONE ELSE!

Ugh, had to take SD to the Doctor last night, and they said she's got the piggy flu! So I'm home with her until DH can finish what he has to at work.

Good Morning team!
http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t202/roni0467/Smiley/TGIF.gif

I woke up to 234 Blood sugar this morning. NOT GOOD! So I have decided to kick it low carb for a while to see if I can't get this under control. Fact of the matter is, if I do not exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, I cannot keep it down. So this has me a bit ill with my Man because I feel like he is not helping me make exercise a priority. Almost every time I've scheduled time to exercise he has interrupted it with his crap. He has been a pain in my behind all week long and he needs to straighten the **** up. I have been day dreaming EVERY SINGLE DAY about life as a single woman. Straight up! It's the Aries in me...when things get tough or aggravating our first instinct is to flee!

Echo, I've been tossing around the idea of buying a Polar thingy too. Tell me how ya like it. I may get one when we get the taxes back in Feb if you like yours.

Retired, you sound like such a fun Grandma! I hope your son recovers with the quickness.

Big, that sounds horrible. I hope the tummy is 100% soon.

Nella, I didn't think that at all. I feel concerned about our dwindling team and the participation too. This happens with every challenge though. Everyone is so excited in the beginning but then life happens and peeps drop off and forget about and it and get busy with their lives. *sigh*

Mercy, How ya feeling today girl??? Ready to workout???

HUGS everyone!!!!

Oh no sweetie! That sucks! The Clorox Wipes and Lysol went along way around here with keeping things clean and germ free. aww playing with the baby sounds cute :) bless

Diva that is so interesting how exercise has an effect on your blood sugar.

im sorry to hear that your struggling with exercise cause of your partner. like jillian would say, you gotta put yourself first!! and working out is going to improve your health and then be better for everyone in the long run.

and i love how she always says how selfish is not a bad word, as long as your not harming anyone else, its about putting yourself first! and why shouldnt you do that!!

Diva, will definately let you know how i get on with my polar heart rate monitor.:) i'm just about to order it! i have decided it is my present :gift: to myself for getting out of the 160s! my weight today is 158.7lbs  ( i really hope i can maintain it for mondays weigh in!).. i love the idea of rewarding yourself when you reach a mini goal :) i wanted to get one back in september, but im so glad i waited, and now the watch will mean something to me :) and it will be a representation of the 15lbs i've lost so far :) and getting to the 150s.

I want to say a BIG THANKS to everyone on the blue team! without the support and encouragement and inspiration from you girls, i wouldnt have been able to push myself to get out of the 160s. thank you all!! you're all are totally AWESOME!!! :grouphug:

I will give you an update once i get it and start using it! :) hope i can figure it out! hehe

So I haven't had any chocolate in the house since June. I decided that since it's been so long I could probably buy a bag of Dove mini's and just allow myself one a day...WRONG!!! Apparently I can't be trusted to have a bag of chocolate in my house. I've been downing about 10 of those babies a day! That's about 400 extra calories that I didn't need! Funny how some foods don't bother me and some are complete trigger foods.

Good morning everyone, sorry I haven't been around much. I have really been struggling to get back on track since being sick. I was up a pound on the scale this morning so that sucks, but it's completely my fault! Yesterday, I decided no more excuses and I did my first workout in November, and I felt so good afterward. So now I just have to keep it up.

Congratulations everyone for winning week 7 :woohoo: WTG Trekkie Girl, LeslieB, Maryshady, Bigmid!

Thanks so much for doing our numbers Monte, it is appreciated.
Thanks for taking over for Dixie, Mary.

Nella, congratulations on the pants! That must have felt great. I hope your SD is feeling better soon.

Happening, you look great!

Idealmuse, WTG on your run :cp:

Retire, I hope your son has a speedy recovery. I agree with Diva, you sound like a great Grandma!

Diva, that's wonderful that the scale is moving down, good job! Sorry your man is being a pain though

Echo, enjoy your new heartrate monitor and congratulations on leaving the 160's behind, that is awesome!

Bigmid, sorry to hear that you have been in so much pain. Have you gone to your doctor? Hope you are feeling better soon.

Alwe, I can totally relate to the trigger foods. I can't have any of mine in the house as I know no matter how good my intentions are, I can't be trusted.

Hi you all!!!

I miss coming here and keeping up with each of you and chatting and visiting! I need to come back more often. Are we having a new challenge anytime soon?

I want to lose 15 lbs by March so I need to set a real plan for myself. I need to count my cals again and just accept that I will hafta always watch them. :( Anyone else REALLY come to terms with that yet? That we'll hafta do it forever?? I have been losing and gaining back since I was 8 or so. Probably before that. And I just need to find out how to not gain back. :(

It's a beautiful day and my son is out early so going to walk down to get him from the bus. You all have a wonderful day!!

Hugs to each of you and can't wait for next challenge!!! Maybe I will be more diligent with it since I won't be having dang throat surgery. ;)

Hi Selena :)

I noticed your ticker and you are doing great! Congratulations 62 lbs is awesome!!

I need to count my cals again and just accept that I will hafta always watch them. Anyone else REALLY come to terms with that yet? That we'll hafta do it forever?? I have been losing and gaining back since I was 8 or so. Probably before that. And I just need to find out how to not gain back.

It has been really hard for me to accept that I will have to count my calories forever too. I just know that when I don't, I immediately start gaining. I was very active as a kid, (lots of sports in/outside of school), and I never even had to think of what or how much I was eating. Once school was over and I wasn't as active, boy did the weight start coming on. I started counting calories and I lost the weight and figured I was good. Four children later and I was right back to where I started. Even if I workout consistently, if I don't log my foods and watch my calories I end up gaining. I hate the thought that I will always have to do this, when it seems like so many people can eat whatever they want and not exercise, and yet stay the same weight. However, I can't compare myself to them, and I have to accept that if I want results, this is what I have to do. Sorry, for the long answer but I wanted you to know that I can relate to what you are feeling.

Echo
11-06-2009, 04:31 PM
alwe- totally can relate to this. if its in the house, i will be more tempted to eat it , when the mood strikes!!

Mercy: Chocolate is like CRACK to me. I can't stop at one, so it is banned from my house!

LOL Mercy!!!!!!!
why does everything that tastes so good, is bad for you! wish there was an alternative universe, where everything we loved, was healthy, like chocolate and french fries and burgers! and you never gained! hehe and more importantly we lived in that alternative parallel universe hehehe
---

Narnia - well done on getting back to working out! you go girl!

Narnia - Echo, enjoy your new heartrate monitor and congratulations on leaving the 160's behind, that is awesome!

aww thank you so much Narnia! you're so sweet!

Soon2bfitchick:

I also have come to the realisation, that counting calories is something i will always have to do aswel

if im not meticulous , i can gain weight SO EASILY!

i was listening to a podcast by jillian michaels and she talks about how obesity is a disease that she suffers from, and you can never be "cured" from it.

its like you just have to live with it and control it. whereas other people like Narnia rightly said, can eat whatever they want and not have to exercise.

its something that i've actually comed to terms with. and i actually dont mind counting calories. :) its fun for me! lol maybe the novelty will wear off, after doing it for months and months. but at the moment it makes me feel like i have a real sense of control over my body.

i can not be trusted and left to my own devices to eat responsibly and stop when im pleasantly satisfied, i just cant do it!!

so i need to meticulously calculate how many calories i can eat for a certain meal and what amounts of each food. i have an excel spreadsheet that i input all the foods i've eaten then i make a plan for the next meal how many calories i can eat and what portions of carbs and protein. as i am a balanced oxidiser, so i need both carbs and protein in a meal, otherwise i'm hungry like 1 hour later again if i just eat carbs.

i'm my own lab rat! lol but i honestly dont mind counting calories,as i'm seeing results, so i'm happy about that. but i do know the minute i stop counting calories and let myself loose, i WILL gain weight quickly. but it does take alot of self control to eat within my calories, as sometimes i do find myself wanting to feel really full. i guess will take time to get used to the feeling of just feeling pleasantly satisfied.

Hey team just stopping by to say "Hi". Been enjoying my days off. Haven't eaten over 1300 cals any day this week and have worked out every day but the scale won't move under 175. Hopefully by Monday it will. Tomorrow is our anniversary (22 years) but i plan to eat well all day and not splurge when we go out to dinner. Will do a 45 min hiit in the morning too.

alwe-I am the same way. If its in the house it is calling my name.

narnia-Congrats on getting back into working out! :carrot::carrot: I will have to do this for the rest of my life too. I have been losing and gaining this same ten lbs for about 2 years now. So I totally understand. Don't worry those who don't have to worry about counting cals or working out will get old and it will catch up to them too! lol!!!

Echo- I love that you are so disciplined in recording everything in a spreadsheet. I wish I was that accountable. It would certainly help me.

Mercy-get a body bugg or go fit not a sensewear. I have one and I love it but it was not worth the amount of money I paid for it. I got bored with it after about a month. I have been thinking I am going to start wearing it again soon. But then I forget to put it on in the morning.

Newshiny-Glad your back. How about a race to 169?? :D

Selena- Good to hear from you. Why don't you just join us in this challenge. Officially you are out of it but that doesn't mean you can't post or post your weight.;)

Thank you for all your kind regards and prayers for my DS. He is recovering nicely and may get discharged a little earlier than we thought. It is so nice to have people I don't know (personally) take such an interest. Thank you again.

I may be a fun grandma but I'm a tired one by the end of the day. I now know why women stop bearing young when they hit their late 40s or 50s. It's a full time job to care for babies. I don't remember being this tired when I had my own and had full charge (with DH's help, of course) 24 hours a day. When I get in bed I don't stir until morning. Oh, my but he's a real sweetie.

It's not the chocolate that gets to me. I can have it in the house for months and not have a taste. It's the potato chips that are my CRACK! I haven't bought any since the end of August but DIL opened a bag tonight at supper and I had a few. I actually ate only 6 chips!!! This is like a breakthrough in medical history. I'm a full bag or nothing gal and here I ate only 6. But as I was putting the chips away I was oh so tempted to just reopen them and gorge myself but I didn't. They're up in the cupboard and I'm up in the bedroom and I'm not going downstairs again tonight.

It's nice to see Blue Team members come and post especially if you've been busy or distracted for awhile. I know just being able to put my thoughts in print helps me tremendously and makes me a little bit more accountable to myself. And as we're on the home stretch now in this competition every bit of encouragement helps. I'd like to get back down to 139 pounds by the end of this challenge. That's where I was when the pounds crept (no not crept--leapt back on me) back on. Then it's back to getting to goal.

Anyway, I'm a tired granny tonight so I'll say my goodnights to everyone and tell you that this was a post with YOUR name on it as I'm too tired to do personals tonight.

Have a great weekend.

Is a Go fit the same as a bodybugg but cheaper? I have been looking and the cheapest that I can find is 199.00. I don't mind the cost, what I am saving on health care from dieting and exercising more than makes up the cost.:carrot:

Morning Blue Team!!

Retiredone - I hope your DS is okay and feeling better, you must have some good moves to keep your GS so entertained. Thanks for the well wishes, I have thought about GB as my mom had some serious bouts of it before it was finially removed, but my pain doesn't quite fit - or maybe I am still at the earlier stages. Guess I should make an appointment just to see.

Maryshady - thanks for doing the stats for us if you need any help let me know. Congratulations on 22 years. Happy Anniversary!!!

Diva - Thanks for the well wishes I hope I will be on the mend soon. Please make sure to put yourself first. Remember you are worth coming in first.

Nella - I hope that SD is feeling better soon.

Echo - Congratulations on leaving the 160's WTG - congrats on the HR monitor

Narnia99 - thanks for the well wishes and WTG on doing your workout. I hope it gets easier to keep it up.

Well I am feeling a bit better, yesterday was a good day of no pain but last night it started up again. Nothing severe but still there. My weigh in at WW was better than I thought it would be. I got on my scale that morning and was up a 1lb but at weigh in there I was down 2 so I'll take it. I also weighed in this morning and I am down 1.6lbs, I usually do weigh ins on Sun for our challange but I have a work staff meeting tomorrow and have to be up at 6am. Whoever though morning meetings were a good idea is crazy.

Not much else new, I am heading off to do some shopping today and just hope I don't spend to much money. But Micheal's does have a 50% off coupon so I probably can't be trusted. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! Just saying hi.

Mary, you are right. I need to be coming here alot more!

I'm glad to hear everyone is having mostly the same thoughts as I am about counting cals. Yeah, I can't be trusted long either. Have any of you ever wondered about this? What if there was no perfect weight and each person ended up about the weight that they are sposed to be either 230 or 180 or 115 or 165 or even 275?? What if we are all trying so hard to do what books say we need to do? It's like fighting against a current. Your body wantssss to be at that weight and we may never really reset our setpoint. Your body may be craving bad foods because it wants to be heavier. You think it can be true? That each body, even if it's bad for it, wants something and will do what it needs to to get it? It's sooo frustrating. :tantrum:

What do you think?? Back in the 1600s bigger women meant they had more money and more value because food was so scarce. No one wanted a bony wench!! Aaarghhh!!! LOL!

Well gotta run, that was just some food for thought. :)

Hugs!

Oh! And thank you for the congrats on the 62 lbs lost. But that's over like 5 years and should be even better and actually has been in the last 5 yrs. Got down to 194 but I have emotional issues about being under 200 so I never stay under long at all. So we'll see what happens this spring when I am hoping to be around 202. The next step will require some soul-searching first. :)

Ok, on to the next! Paperwork and housework! Then football at 2 then birthday party at 4 and home to cook dinner after that!

Bye for now!

Hi blue team! 1 more day left till our official weigh in on monday! hope everyone has a great sunday :)

Bigmid- thanks so much !!! :) so nice ofyou to say about my 160s and heart rate monitor.
well done on your 2lbs loss at WW

hope you feel better soon

I'm excited to hear how it works for you. I've been considering buying one for myself.

Thanks Alwe! definately will let you know :)

Karen - good on ya for getting back on track!

Selina- that is an interesting concept! but i think that the body WANTS to be healthy, its our minds and hormones that kinda fight against it!

i think some people just have to work harder at keeping their "healthy" weight. bad luck of the draw! maybe its origin is in our genes.

i really believe its all down to our own specific body chemistry, like some people may suffer from an ailment- some people will just struggle with keeping their weight at a healthy range. of course every "body" will find its own personal ideal weight that the body is comfortable with.

someone asked about next weeks challenge (sorry forgot who it was!). does anyone have any ideas for next weeks? i have a friend on the red team and she mentioned how they have a challenge - i think to do a certain number of minutes of exercise and if they get it they get badges! i want a badge lol  can we have something like that? no idea how they do badges

Hey girls,

Still here... too busy to keep up on the thread.... but at least posted a loss this week.

5 birthdays in November (DSS is today), getting married on Thursday, and trying to figure out how to make 2 invites for Thanksgiving. Bootcamp is still going strong, work is crazy, and we just hired 2 employees last week for our home business. I am ready to crawl into a corner and hide.

I hope you all are doing well and MAYBE I can get back here before January! :)

Have a great Sunday.

Just got back from all day at Dewberry Farm in Brookshire, TX, look it up online, sooo cute! Tons of fun stuff for the kids, too fun, no one wanted to leave, we were almost last to leave at dark! LOL. But hope to have used up some major cals out there. And still don't have my taste right after my tonsil surgery so I had a few bites out there and that was it. I'm not gonna go into other thread and post my weight unless it would help you all. Will it count toward Blue team's total even if I'm not in the challenge to win anymore?? I will just tell you all here in the morning what I weigh after I weigh unless it can help then I'll go post. Someone tell me by tomorrow and I'll go put it in, hopefully I have a loss! LOL. We'll see. I should but you never know! :sumo:

Ok, nite, soooo tired!!

Hugs, Selina

Thanks, Institches, Mercy, & Somni and everyone! I am beyond excited and can barely sleep from it! LOL! All I think about is how I will decorate it, how I want to landscape that HUGE back yard....So many thoughts & ideas and of course freaking out over our rent turning into a mortgage and tripling & HAVING to get a job now after 8 yrs of being a SAHM. Hoping someone will hire me. I dunno why peeps think, oh you are a SAHM, must mean you are stupid and can't do anything...Um HELLO! I managed a house, I was a driver, a bookkeeper, a maid, and um raising a teenager WELL certainly is not for dummies! But whateve...I am sure I can get my foot in the door someplace. All the retail places are hiring Christmas help at least right??? BTW still planning on doing the online school too, but that doesn't start until January. So my life is about to completely change.

My mind is completely racing and it won't stop LOL!

BTW. I am down a pound. Looks like I am a pound a week type of gal, and that's cool too! :D

Also, do we have any accountants or tax peeps here? If so pm me, I have some questions about that 1st time buyers tax credit thing.

I don't have much time this morning, I have some errands and I will talk to you later, but, PRESIDENT OBAMA JUST EXTENDED THE 8000.00 TAX CREDIT UNTIL JUNE, SO YOU ARE IN LUCK!

LUCKY YOU, THINGS ARE CHANGING FOR THE BETTER.
