I did the 3 mile watp yesterday
I didn't have time for it today so I was going to do the 2 mile express but couldn't find my dvd so I did 20 mins of TurboJam instead :faint:

Hey All! I'm not new to 3fc, but new to WATP. I just finished the 1 mile and it was so easy - I'm pretty happy about that!
I'll try to post every day to keep myself accountable. According to my basic calorie intake details, I need to stick to about 1,300 cal per day, and burn around 900 calories on top of that.
I plan on doing 2 or 3 miles of WATP and a couple of 10-minute boot-camp style workout deals from Netflix, plus cleaning and housework. From the calcs I've found, as long as I stay active most of the day and keep my meals healthy as usual, but small portions, I'll be good to go. =)
I'm giving myself a little break before I do the 2-mile, then it's off to run errands. Woohoo!

Hey LooLoo - yep - the 2 mile workout is like walking 2 miles.
also, Leslie says that you burn about 100 calories per mile, and that on the boosted walks you burn about 125 calories per mile, so a 3 mile walk burns between 300 - 375 calories. YOU GO GIRL! :)

I've been doing the 3 Mile Walk from On Demand about every other day. I've been alternating it, on other days I do workouts that are circuit training. I absolutely love Leslie Sansone! :queen:

I did the 1 mile walk yesterday and really didnt feel like it burned a lot of cals so a 100 calories seems reasonable to the effort i did i think i'll try the 2 mile today or tommorrow.

I did the 1 mile yesterday after I put the turkey in the oven - it was still really dark out and I didn't want to walk outdoors. :P
We've been having such unseasonably warm weather here that I've been walking outdoors instead. But there's snow on the way, so I'll be stuck inside again soon.

Whew! Did mile 1 and 2 in a row of the 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk, 1st time I was able to do 2 miles!! happy dance :carrot: Was going for the 3rd but the phone rang...better not push it!

I just walk - my house is about a mile away from the grocery store, so my walking plan is to walk to the store and back most days (we also live in a hilly area, so I get a good uphill workout on the way back).

but i'm gonna get back to my walking pronto. I guess since it's the middle of december I won't mess with starting a december thread.

cathyxxx~ I'm slacking and feel like crap! Have to get back on the program, I was doing so well...:mad:. I did get on the scale this morning, no gain, thank goodness. Need to get all the boxes from Christmas decorations put away and run the vacuum and I won't even mention what my kitchen looks like! Will hopefully start walking again after work tomorrow, or sooner if I could rid of this 3 day migraine. (Probably triggered by holiday stress, potato chips and lack of exercise.) Hope your feeling better:hug:, nothing worse than a toothache or earache!!

thanks Karen! toothaches are the worst, and one of these were really bad. it was the longest week of my life. I know what you mean about slacking off and feeling bad. we just don't feel the same when we aren't walking. my plan is to get up at 5 tomorrow morning and get in a walk before work. I hope your headache gets better. my mother dealt with migraines most of her life and they are awful! hugs, Cathy

I just started today with the Walk away the pounds and did the 1 mile easily. So tonight I'm planning doing the 4 mile (I regularly walk 4-5 miles 3 times a week)
