Vegetarian Chicks - is the falafel fattening...?

I absolutely love the falafel but is it fattening...? :?: I really don't know and I am absouletly curious...thanks.

Well, I believe it is usually fried. But if you're making your own, you could spray it and bake.

great I will immediately look for a search for a recipe online I have never done it before but I am sure I can and would rather eat it baked than fried anyday...

it's usually deep fried. you can pan fry it/bake it. South Beach online has a recipe that doesn't taste a whole lot like a fried falafel, but it meets your crave with some tahini. If you can't find a solution, let me know and I'll scare up the recipe for you.
